Well if you like your house to be better than before these guys are good when they wanna be. The work is amazing . I needed newer windows aNd siding and they got them.. their financing was awesome as I was turned down by many. When i had got credit score stable they came thru and delivered and the interest was 8 percent. Thanks for a good looking house.

Mid-America did a great job on re-siding 2 sides of my home. Despite the material shortages, they came right out as soon as possible and were very punctual and on time each day. My salesman James and his siding crew were great to deal with from the day we signed the papers, to even after the job was finished. Their customer service was really great!

They were professionals, from Troy coming down to give us an estimate to Joey setting up the installation time and Chad and Eva getting it all in and done. Not asked for money until it was installed and we approved it! Very happy with all steps of the process of removing our bathtub and installing the onyx shower!

Long story short, they never showed up. Contacted them to see what was going on, response was let me find out because we know you’re on the schedule for today. Right at two hours of waiting nobody shows up. As kindly as I can, I tell them I’ll find another company that wants to do business. If a company is willing to blow people off, it’s not the company I want to do any kind of business with.

Would highly recommend Seth Lewis. He was professional, very responsive and helpful while walking through the quoting process. Ultimately, I decided to go with another company only because they had a system and color that Seth and MAE could not provide. I will definitely reach out to Seth for my next home improvement project.

We had 3 different bids for our new walk-in shower. We chose Mid America Exteriors, because Troy made us feel comfortable during his visit, he really knows the process of how it would be done and that the materials they use are outstanding. The construction crew were on time each day they worked nonstop and in a polite and professional way. We have a very small bathroom and let’s just say it was very difficult to work in such a confined area this crew did it gracefully and with out any complaints. The flooring guys had to remove old carpet and underneath that was linoleum that had been nailed down by previous owners, the crew worked hard to get floors cleaned before installing new flooring and all with out complaining. So our experience was wonderful we are so happy we Chose Mid America Exteriors, to do our walk-in shower and flooring.

Seth and his team installed a new shower/bathtub in my home. The work was reasonably priced and the result was high quality, beautiful work. Seth was responsive to any questions or concerns I had and was on the job until I was satisfied with all aspects of the job.

James is my go to for anything that arises with our 1960’s home. So far, we’ve had help with our gutters and siding with plans to extend on the work as we can afford. James has been the best at helping us first time homeowners prioritize projects as we build a realistic plan in maintaining our home. We will keep working with him and MAE as we get through our current five year plan on updating all exterior work. Totally recommend!

I approached Seth in a Quik Trip parking lot asking if he was the salesman for Mid America. I explained to him that we were having difficulty getting a contractor to a single window at my daughters house. He gave me his card and told me to call the office to schedule an appointment. He said he could not guarantee they would do it but he would surely look at it. The scheduled appointment time arrived and and Seth was right on time. When finished at my daughters house, my wife and I invited Seth to our own home to quote windows for us as well. Our bid was received quickly and we agreed to have the job done. Now we just have to wait 3 to 4 months lol. All in all our experience with Mid America has been great.

Great service. James got me a quote for whole house siding replacement quickly, and found a contractor to get the job done very quickly even during busy season. Very happy with the outcome, zero issues through the process.

Sales mislead us on installation with losing inside window sill. Also one window had 1 gap around it that had to be cover with foam and vinyl strip on inside and several windows, the latch screws from manufacture had the heads rounded out. Also had extra $1300 tacked on to bill that was later removed. Windows themselves seem to be fine but dont match Pella or RBA in my opinion. Thought highly of installation crew.

Jeff Moses is friendly, informative, not overly pushy to sell windows and is definitely confident in what he has to offer. They windows are custom which took a while to be processed, created, delivered and finally installed. That said, I definitely got what I paid for. They are NOT cheap but oh my gosh are they beautiful. The installer they had come out was definitely detail oriented and I felt 100% taken care of. Thank you team MAE. You are all amazing (from the office staff to the final installation).P.S. Look at some of the detail put into the window installation (see pictures). This is only 1 of 7 installed windows. This one, however, was an installation where a window hadnt existed at all.

They remodeled are bathroom. The team was great. They were respectful. And clean. We love are new bathroom. Couldnt ask for a better team.

We are just beginning our bathroom remodeling project. Seth has been awesome. He explains products well and makes sure he understands our priorities. He follows up timely with any additional questions or concerns. MAE was one of four contractors we requested an estimate for through Home Advisors. MAE was the first to respond. Seth was very confident in MAEs product. I think his confidence is well placed based on price, finance options, warranties, and quality of their product. I cannot wait to to see the final project!

Pure sales jargon and over explanation for basic questions. Representative walked around my home like he owned it. Needed my ceiling hole patched. Jim Hodges of Mid America Exteriors came out to give me a quote I like. Good workmanship and trustworthy employee keeping me informed on the work he was doing.Repairing and updating the Soffit and Fascia around the house. MAE employees did a good job bring new life to and old home. Ill call on MAE again when I need exterior work done.

I chose MAE because they are a local company and we are practically neighbors. Due to the age of my house, I liked the all inclusive nature of their bid - they were going to take care of any wood framing that needed to be replaced, as well as the decorative crown moulding above the door.I dont think Ill be using them again.It took 2 months and 26 days from the time I signed the contract, until a single door was installed. Estimated delivery dates were pushed back 3 times. If I hadnt been persistent in calling, I would probably still be waiting - the door had been delivered but they hadnt bothered reaching out to schedule an install. On the day of the install, I called to confirm schedule and was told the estimated time had moved from 9-10 to 10:30. I moved around my work meetings to accommodate this and opted to go into the office for a couple hours, only to have the coordinator call at 9:45 saying they were at my house. Well thanks, I guess we should have stuck to the original 9-10 and I would have stayed home.I suspect that the job was probably smaller than most that they do (I had originally been considering doing all 3 doors), and I feel like I was not a high priority as a result. From a business perspective, I can understand not wanting to spend a lot of time and resources on a (relatively) unprofitable customer, but if thats the case, just tell me and I will take my business elsewhere.The bidders and installers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I think the install looks very clean, except that the frame was shimmed significantly (100 year old house, nothing is perfectly even) and then not filled in at the bottom under the door frame. As a result, there is a half inch gap on one side, between the bottom of the door frame and the foundation, through which I can look straight outside. I guess Ill be figuring out how to fill that gap now.In summary, use Mid America Exteriors if you enjoy having to check on the status of your order every time they miss their delivery date estimate, and want to do the finishing work yourself. If youd prefer that someone else manage all that, pay less and go elsewhere.

We needed a new roof and gutters due to hail damage. Mike Mann guided us through the entire process and even dealt directly with the insurance company. Mike and Mid America made what could have been a frustrating experience go smoothly and at a fair price. Could not be happier with the process, workmanship and results.

Very professional, exceptional quality, excellent workmanship, reasonable prices. The sales representative, Kyle, was patient, honest, and explained the product and installation process well. We replaced all our windows and interior trim, including a large custom window that others could not replicate or were extremely expensive. MAE provides quality products and installation at a competitive price. It wont be the cheapest, but the value is exceptional. We returned to them recently for siding installation for our soffits and gutters. Again, excellent! Their installers are skilled and take care for your property as though it were their own.

The guys that came to my house were the nicest guys. My windows were not easy to get out. My house was built in 1966 so the windows were metal frames. The men knew just what to do. They did not tear things up. It took them one day to put them in. Since my windows were hard to get out they came the next day and finished up. I am very happy with my windows. The installation was not stressful for me. I have an elderly father in the house and they worked real well with him. I am very happy with the experience. I will use them again most definitely. I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Them for a job well done.

From beginning to end or project was easy and enjoyable. Some situations came up however it was beyond MAEs control. When addressed they were very easy and accommodating to work with. Could not ask for a better experience. Beside windows they also did our siding. Everyone that touched our job was professional and customer user friendly. MAE treated us so well! We needed a few storm windows replaced in our older house, plus an attic window that needed to be rebuilt. Not a huge job but they treated us like it was just as important as a major installation. The attic window needed special attention, and they took the time to do it just right. The sales rep offered us valuable direction in replacing a broken window pane, and that tiny bit of advice saved us time and money.

We just had new siding put on our house. It looks great! We actually had some issues with the particular crew that worked on our house but Russell and Mr Becker (the owner) himself, were very apologetic and did everything they could to make things right.The two of them were wonderful to work with. We greatly appreciated their personal care and would recommend MAE to a friend.

Judd was a nice enough guy. He was straight forward and to the point with the estimate that we asked for. We felt that some of our requests werent heard or were just overlooked. He seemed to want to sell us the most expensive items. Which in our situation thats not what we need or want. We also told him that certain areas we werent ready to address. He went ahead and added thos to our quote. Just little things that would have given that extra star.

Call and made an appointment for them to look at our deck and get the house painted. The sells lady schedule an appointment. Then the day before the contract call and told us to find a handyman. He said there business was to big to do the small amount of work we need. He came to this assumption without a inspection of our deck or siding.

We just had siding, shutters, porch rails and a new deck on a 120 year old farm house. Even though there were numerous delays due to weather, the job was done in a timely manner and I couldnt be more pleased. The teams were pleasant and even helped my husband move a hot tub. He also has a good eye for color/design. You want to do it right the first time! (His touch of humor is free.)As planned and on schedule, Mike and Dave did the work. These guys are expert craftsmen and have been with MAE for many years. I felt quite comfortable with them in and around the house.The final outcome was beyond my expectation! The dramatic change took less than 4 days for 15 windows and patio door. I couldnt be happier!

I am very pleased with the steel siding that was installed on my house. The installers were very polite and did a great job placing the outdoor furniture back in the spot it had originally been. The initial install was a very positive experience. Trying to get someone to come out and fix issues after the fact with siding coming off has been a not so positive experience. I have waited 2 weeks for someone to call me back and have made numerous phone calls to get my siding fixed that blew off in the wind. They take my number and never respond. I am not sure at this point if I would recommend them to anyone. Plus i had additional work that I was considering them for and a referral that i planned on sending a friend for siding/windows - I will not be making a referral and I will get estimates from a different company.

Great customer service. Jeff was very good at meeting our needs. He was constantly working to ensure we were happy with his service and that we were happy with the installation. Dave installed our windows. He is very experienced and very good. He worked quickly and the windows look awesome. Travis installed our siding. That dude is a work horse. I expected the siding to take awhile to install. Not with Travis. He was done with everything in 6 days. The quality of the install is great. The final product looks awesome. We are extremely pleased with the look of our house.

So far we have had windows, a sliding glass door, and siding replaced by MAE. We have had nothing but great results working with them on our home improvement projects. On our first job hidden damage was found. The additional cost to fix this unexpected damage was minimal. Their workman are nothing short of craftsman and I am very satisfied with the results. We have referred MAE to relatives and friends and they have also been very happy with their work they had performed. I can also say their window and door products are of high quality with a number of options available we could not find with other contractors. They also did a fantastic job matching our real oak trim in our home, something I also think you would not find with many contractors. In summation the are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but the value for the work performed is perfect.

Ive used Mid America for a couple of projects on my home: replacement of some damaged siding and installment of several old windows. The quality of the work is fine, but the customer service is abysmal--and thats precisely why you should stay away.Heres why:On the first job, the siding replacement, it took nearly three months for Mid America to order the materials and do the job. The second job, the window replacement, was done relatively promptly--but it was also an expensive job, one that Id expect any contractor to pursue so that they could collect.Since then, I have been appalled by the lack of responsiveness and overall lax attitude toward its customers. Mid America Exteriors was the first company I called after my home was damaged in a severe hailstorm last year, and after talking with a receptionist or some other customer service rep, I was told Id get a call back from a sales rep or project manager to set up a visit and discuss the work. But I never got that call, and after a couple weeks of waiting, I went with someone else. Just recently, after some gusting wind ripped off the awning of my patio cover, I thought Id give Mid America Exteriors another try, but the result was the same--I was told Id get a call back, and two weeks later, Im still waiting. Given past experience, Im not holding my breath for someone from Mid America Exteriors to pick up the phone and follow up with me.If you want work of decent quality, youll get it from Mid America--so long as someone deigns to so much as talk to you about the order. If you want to feel like a valued customer, go elsewhere. As for me, Im done with these guys.

We used Mid America Exteriors in order to get hour home ready to sell. It needed an expectation in order to complete the sales process. MAE was on time and inspected our house thoroughly. The buyers felt very reassured my realtor tells me, and we were able to close escrow on time thanks to them. Great work.

I use Mid America Exteriors because they always do a good job quickly. They never skip or cut corners and always pick up after themselves. That is extremely important to me and my kids because they will pick up anything they find on the ground and put it in their mouths at this stage. MAE has always been thorough and professional with any job they perform on my house.

It was finally time to replace my old roof and siding. They were past their prime and looking pretty old. Mid America Exteriors definitely had their work cut out for them and the results were nothing short of excellent. I received prompt and courteous service from the team at Mid America. After I acquired the permit, they were immediately out to my home to construct the fence. They would have completed the project within 2 days if it werent for the rain...but it still only took 4 days! The fence is just beautiful and I love it!! They cleaned up after themselves and even trimmed my evergreen and locked the gate upon departure. I will definitely recommend Mid America Exteriors to everyone I know! The price was right, the service was great, what more can I say!

I still cant believe how quickly the windows were installed - with no mess - matching the exiting trim inside and out. The trim work is exceptional. This was such a great experience. We couldnt be happier.

I could have gotten cheaper windows but I already had junk windows. What I needed was good windows and that is what we got. We can tell a big difference in how warm the house is now. Thanks to Mid America Exteriors for a job well done and for delivering a quality American made product.

Not happy. Supposed to come out today between 9-10am to install a new double casement window; Dave called at 930 and asked if today was the day they were supposed to install...then rescheduled until tomorrow because his installer didnt finish a previous job from last Friday. We took off of work for this. Ill update this review pending the outcome of the job and how they work with us.

I was impressed with this company and the installer i talked to. HE clearly knows a lot by how he patiently answered all of my questions. The work done was excellent and high quality.

My wife and I had just bought a house which had horrible LP Siding. We needed it replaced so we called a few contractors. MAE came out and gave us a bid and we instantly knew this was our guy! The job went very smoothly and our house looks great. His crew was also very professional and nice. Im so happy we hired them and so is my wife.

First I want to say the work crews that came out were incredible! I cant say enough about what a great job they did. Very courteous and cleaned up everything. The problem I had was with the MAE contact. Jake, not of State Farm. When I was requesting quotes, he is the only male that asked I have my husband there to go over the quite. Despite this, I chose MAE. My husband works nights and explained to Jake, hey, shes in charge, all communication should be through her. I would call Jake and minutes later, he would call my husband. The work, as I said, was great. Later though, we had one problem. The white caulking they used on the entire project turned brown. I contacted the owner who shared my same concern. He agreed he would come out and take a look at it. Then Jake stepped in. Jake determined it was because I live on a dirt road that the caulking turned brown. On all four sides of both buildings. Jake said they would try washing it first. That was the last Ive heard from MAE. Ive emailed and received no response. I cant tell you how angry I was to continually be treated like the little woman who doesnt understand what the men are talking about.

Workmanship was excellent. I was surprised - and pleased - by how quickly the installation was done. This was probably the best experience I’ve had in my quarter century of dealing with Wichita companies. My compliments to you on your staffing choices!

Everything was good 18 years ago when I bought my Windows . But now that the seals have failed and the gas has leaked out, not so good. I have been waiting 3 months+ to get my panes replaced. They have had the replacements since Nov. It is now Feb. I have been rescheduled 4 times. I paid up for Windows with a lifetime guarantee, but now find that their customer service is pretty much 0. I am told we will get this done next week. I will believe it when I see it. I will never do business with this company again!

We are very pleased with MAE. Last fall they did some work for us because of water leaking in to our daughters room through outlet and our builder grade windows. Drywall and windows were replaced. 6+ months later, our windows are great, but water was again leaking in through wall/outlet. I was so upset. We called MAE and they came out the next day. A faulty board on the outside of house was causing the leak that should have been replaced previously. Not only did they cover it under the warranty, they replaced the board and a section of drywall THAT DAY. Couldnt be more pleased with Kyle and the team at MAE. Thank you for making a huge source of stress a lot more manageable.

Mid America Exteriors, Inc. removed our old deck and replaced with a new deck. They did a fantastic job and we couldnt be happier with the out come!

It is a shame we can only give five stars. MAE installed our windows years ago and we saw a big difference in our utility charges, they dropped, substantially. Since the installation (again, years ago) we have had a couple of windows fog up for varying reasons; sure enough, MAE came out and replaced them at no charge.We were so thrilled with MAE, we had our home resided last year. The product, quality and service were second to none. The transformation of our home was such that neighbors walking by commented on how nice our home looks. It also added about 25K in value to the home. I have no bothers of scraping, chipping and painting the house ever again. The soffits look beautiful and the replacement windows in the basement was the finishing touch.There are many companies to choose from; from some guy who is in need of new dentures who wants you to call nowwwww to a couple who tell you their windows are the best. You wnat cheap then by all means go with them, you want quality product and service, MAE is the only place to shop.
