I always boonedock on overnight traveling stops. Found this location in Wichita on my free roam site. Went in to ask where they would like me to park and they said anywhere in the lot would be fine. Theyre very polite. Also water sewer and dump station was available for free. Thanks for supplying free stopovers for my camping Friends. Nice level site far enough from freeway to be quiet and nice little Lake across the street to look at. Enjoyed my one-night stay.

I stopped by yesterday with my wife to take a peek at an RV, and was greeted by Hector. We got to talking, and he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and could tell he had a passion for selling. My wife was very impressed at the efficiency and customer service we were greeted with, as Hector attempted to find the perfect RV, tailored for our needs. Super great guy, honestly would invite him to dinner. Very charismatic as well, can take a joke and dish one right out. I am very impressed by the staff and inventory. Great place.

We opted to shop at Gander last week to look at RVs. Noel was our salesperson and was spectacular. We initially did an online search and Noel contacted us by text to confirm a meeting time along with the manager. Once arriving at our appointment, we were treated like VIPs from the time we arrived to when we left. He was very helpful, kind, and very patient, showing us many different units and explaining the differences in each. We ended up selecting a unit but several days later after talking with our in-laws, we decided to purchase their fifth wheel trailer instead of buying from Gander. We were very impressed with their selection, there service, theyre honesty in their products and above all their prices. They are extremely competitive with anybody else on the market including folks that are selling by owner. We would definitely without a doubt recommend them to anybody else searching for an RV and will be going there in the future to trade when we decide to do that. Please ask for Noel if making an appointment. He is fabulous and well make sure that you are taken care of from start to end. Couldnt ask for a more honest bunch of people! They really do just want to earn your business!

Our sales associate was Seth. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a dealership environment. He was a friendly face and genuine right off that bat. I used to love shopping at the Wichita store but wont be returning.They have removed most of the store and have left it looking like a empty warehouse. There repair service is terrible.It took over six weeks to get ours fixed. I will be spending my money with Bass Pro Shop now.

Went in to look at campers, hector was super friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. Took care of our every need and chauffeured us around the campus on a golf cart so we weren’t walking. Hector is one of the greatest and most friendly salesmen i’ve encountered. He did not force me into something i didn’t want, he simply guided and was able to give quality information related to each camper i inquired about. If i could leave more than 5 stars i would.

My experience at Gander was great. My experience the moment I walked in the door everyone had a smile on their face and very eager to help me. My salesman was Noel. He went above and beyond helping me. He continued to show tons of knowledge through the afternoon while I was looking at each unit to make a tough decision . We were very impressed with the store. It was clean, spacious, and offered a wide variety of accessories. A person was available at the front desk immediately upon entering. There was a very nice reception area with tables and chairs for customers. Our sales rep Mark Leidholt was ready for us and showed us exactly what we asked to look at. He was very familiar with the different units we viewed. Both he and the sales manager were very interested in helping us find what we wanted.

Hunter did a great job listening to us and showing us what we wanted to look at. Did not rush us even when he knew we were just trying to get a taste of what we want instead of just trying to make a sale. Would have given 5 stars if someone would have met us at the door.Appreciated they were open on Sunday afternoon. Looks like the store has everything you would need.

They have soooooo many campers its amazing. The store is huge, lots of stuff to look at. They have lots of outdoor stuff, guns, bikes, clothes, shoes etc.*****EDIT******We did end up buying a camper I thought for a great price. Scott was patient with us and showed us campers till we found just the right one. Terry is a sales clerk on the floor, he helped us tremendously on buying stuff for the camper answering questions and explaining things easy to understand. He showed us what we needed to get set up and explained why we needed each particular item. The personable service was appreciated. Thats what lots of places lack today is someone there that knows whats going on and has had experience in what they are selling.

Use to like going in here. There is nothing to do with anything hunting at all. Stopped in today after not coming by for a few months hoping I was just hitting them in between a change in layout and it’s the same just minus everything I went in for. Poor decision

My husband decided to surprise me with a new, bigger camper upgrade that Id been wanting so he did some research and went in and spoke too an amazing lady named Kenda, and had her assist him in looking at a few new units that he new I was interested in, and then set an appointment for the next day. We both went in and she showed us both the two that I was interested in and after her amazing and outstanding attention too us and our needs, I chose the one I liked. She then made sure that my husband was in contact with the individuals she thought were the best too help us and we bought an amazing new Toyhauler. Kenda went above and beyond any sales person that we have ever dealt with. She continued to make sure we were taking care of through the entire process and was never pushy, or acting as we was just another sale. After the weekend, we meet with her upon our arrival to trade in our older unit, introduced us to a finance man, as well as the amazing gentleman named Travis, who did our walkthrough and explained all we needed to know for our new unit. She had to leave for another appointment later that afternoon and made sure she left us in the amazing hands of one of her associates named Noel, who was also another amazing person. She then gave me and my husband and our Toy Chihuahua Tucker several gifts for our new home away from home. I was totally amazed by most of all the individuals that assisted us in our new purchase and would highly recommend going and seeing either herself or Noel if youre ever interested in making a purchase for anything related to RVs or camping supplies and all that Gander has to offer.

The store is very clean, they have all the supplies you need, and the staff is very helpful. We purchased a Coleman 26BH about 30 days ago and love it. We were wanting to just look at campers and Chelsey B happened to walk across my path when I asked to look at the selection. She was very helpful, courteous, and has a great personality. We decided to buy the new camper on a Friday and did not take delivery until Monday. Chelsey B stayed in contact through the entire weekend to ensure that we were up to date on the whole process. When Monday arrived and we came to the store, the whole staff was ready to go and very helpful. I also want to thank the service mechanics for taking a look at my truck when we couldnt figure out why my trailer lights were not coming on. (the issue was the truck, not the camper) Chelsey B and staff, thank you

My husband and I visited your store on one of the hottest days so far this year. We looked at a couple of the beautiful campers that were parked in front of the store. We were unable to get into some of the others that we were more curious about because they were locked. So, we went inside to see if anyone would be able to unlock them. We wandered around the store and found ourselves at the gun counter. Joe asked us if we were finding everything okay and did we need any help. He was AMAZING! So patient and provided a vast supply of unbiased knowledge. Once he found what was comfortable for me, he showed us many options. He opened several counters and discussed in detail pros and cons. Never once did he make us feel like we were keeping him from other customers. Joe gets 5 stars!! We proceeded to walk around the store and found a smiling lady at the front door. Asked if she would be able to help get the other campers unlocked. “Absolutely!” She went and got the keys and took us herself. She let us know there were more options behind the building and would love to show us. Jennifer Beckner also gets 5 stars. She showed us anything we asked about. Provided knowledge on how much vehicles should pull and what was rated for living in as opposed to recreation. She was dressed in all black shirt and pants. Obviously very hot, but NEVER complained. Before we left, she gave us 2 bottles of ice cold water and wished us well as we left the store. We were very impressed with these two associates. Would highly recommend shopping in your store to anyone who asks.

Went above and beyond to get me details on a trailer. It was a long distance purchase and they worked hard to make it easy. Jonathan Avery was a rock star on the video showing us the vehicle.

I was shopping for tents and this lovely lady offered to show me some of the cheapest most basic campers that come with ac, a fireplace, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, a hidden queen bed that tucked away into a couch, an outdoor kitchen and so much more. I was surprised that I could get less than 20k out the door. Unfortunately they had just sold out of the one that I wanted but my sales woman is going to find the exact one that I want and have it delivered here. He listened to what we wanted and showed us the campers we are in the market for and he kept it in our range. He didn’t try talking us into something that we couldn’t afford, and the entire time he was pleasant, knowledgeable and most importantly- he was genuine. He left an impression on us and this is a rare thing. Typically we feel like prey to any type of salesman when looking into a purchase such as this. Not the experience we had with Tank at all. 4 stars for Jimmie (especially cleaning up other peoples messes) but 1 star for GanderJimmie was great! Answered all our questions with ease!We have had major issues with Gander since we bought our RV 4 months ago. No one could help us when we had stuff break (the slide) within days of getting it home. Also couldnt get any answers from Keystone. Shop has been through 2 firing/quitting issues in their shop and it shows.

This review is a little different. We purchased a brand new camper over three months ago and the day we brought it home there was issues, major issues that made it inoperable for us to use. We tried so hard with the service department to get things corrected, the service manager lied to us, would not return our phone calls, it was horrible. A lot of family and friend time was lost over the summer because of these issues. But finally last week Deanna at corporate, Jimmy, Jim, and Mark in the sales department, Taryn and Amy in the service department bent over backwards to make things right for us. Not only did we get a bigger and better camper with all the bells and whistle’s we got it for the same price as the old camper, they also gave us upgrades a new TV, a new mini fridge, and a $500 gift card to compensate us for the three months we had been paying for storage but never got to use. Friday before Labor Day we drove off with our brand new camper and had an amazing weekend unfortunately it took over three months for this to happen. What I will say is if you do decide to go to Gander RV in Wichita ask for the people mentioned above they will do what it takes to make you happy they understand the issues in the service department but they will take the time to make things right.

Chelsea was so very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Even though we were doing everything remotely, we felt taken care of in every aspect - she even offered a transport of the RV to us, in a different state. Great customer service! Todd Phifer is a great resource in helping us figure out the best option that fits out needs and wants. He was fantastic with showing me around. I would have given the process and experience 5 stars except: people other than Todd called me about my appointment to meet Todd for the first time, too many auto emails and robot text messages, and I don’t care for the “Car Dealer” vibe. Granted, that vibe may be normal but this is my first time looking for an RV.

I was immediately impressed when I entered the store with the neatness and orderly fashion that was displayed. Walking through the rows of merchandise I couldnt help but feel welcomed by the friendly atmosphere. In every area i went to there was a staff member with a smile and willingness to assist me. While visiting Wichita, K’s. I had the privilege of experiencing a fantastic time in the discovery of RVs. I never considered owning one but as I reach retirement and my love for the outdoors, I have now taken another look at a different way to travel the country. The store manager, Reginald Taylor, was phenomenal with explaining the product and the full store tour. I must say that it is rare to find a store these days that you lose track of time in because you are actually enjoying yourself.

Bought a brand new Fifth Wheel from here in March of this year. Have had nothing but issues with this unit. After contacting Ganders service department to have the issues repaired my RV sat there for 4 weeks before I finally went and picked it up to have it looked at at a different repair center. I contacted the forest river corporate office to get another authorized warranty repair shop and I was told that Gander had already submitted a claim for repairs even though they had not even diagnosed the issue. I don’t recommend purchasing a rv from here unless you don’t like good service or you don’t want to have repairs made in a timely manner.

Seth was an absolute pleasure to work with. My wife and I were very back and forth on whether we were going to purchase a camper, and after many many trips to the dealership, and Seth always being patient with us and showing us different campers, we were able to get the perfect one. Could not recommend Seth more!

We were looking for a cheaper new or nice used 5th wheel camper. My husband and I have 3 kids and Johnathan (Tank) WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He did is best to show us everything we were interested in in our price range. He got us in a new camper sat a great price. The finance guy S. BERNEY did get us a great price and worked his magic the best he could. I seriously cant say enough good things about Johnathan though. Him coming in on his day off because that day works the best for us meant a lot.. He is for sure a great guy and great person that does a great job.. He was so nice and personable!
