TJ is an AMAZING artist. I have had many tattoos and this coverup is by far the best, most original art piece in my body. I will 1000% come back to him for more realistic and creative artwork. This is a professional place! Vicky, the piercer, is professional, has a super clean studio, and is knowledgable. She did my nose piercing. Ive worked with Lindsay, the tattoo artist, for my half sleeve. Ive spent about 20 some hours in there, and although it could use some interior design love, its full of people that care and know what theyre doing. All in all - clean, professional, knowledgable. Pricing is also fair and honest.

Lindsay is great! She took care of me as a walk in even though she was about to leave. She got me out in time to make it to a train I had to take and made sure that I was 100% happy before I left.

So happy to have found a go-to spot for piercings and probably future tattoos! The artists made me feel super comfortable in the shop while also ensuring everything was clean, quick, and safe. I can’t wait to go back and get more piercings from Vicki! She’s the best!

Went their for my first tattoo. I was so scared, that I was practically shaking. Called them up on the phone prior to coming in and they said to me Dont worry, well take care of you. Very comforting to hear. Every other place I called were very snippy and rushed to get off the phone with me. I asked SO many questions and they calmly answered all of them. Tommy is amazing and very understanding. He really wants to give you the design that youll love! I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. First timer, or not.

...got a piercing by Vikki.. everything in there was clean and sterile and very professional. If she does not think she can do a piercing for whatever reason she will let you know because safety is a factor for them as well. I will definitely be back.

The absolute BEST! I got a cover-up done by Tommy Rabid and he did a FANTASTIC job! I loved my tattoo so much, I ended up having him extend it into an entire rib/side piece!The shop is extremely conscious of safety/cleanliness and the staff is exceptionally friendly!

Started coming here about 8 months ago. Took me almost 10 years to get the 4 tattoos I had prior to visiting..8 months to get 4 more since. Tommy is my guy. You cant go wrong with this place. Ive been 100% satisfied with every piece Ive gotten here. As a side note: Ive seen how they deal with other customers in person and seen nothing but professionalism and happy customers leaving the shop...never gotten a piercing but I watched happy piercees leave the shop as well.

Both Agaru tattoo locations are amazing. Great artists, competitive prices and absolutely zero drama. Tommy Rabid has been my tattoo artist for years and I wouldnt trade him for a golden left foot. When you are planning for a tattoo, just remember, you get what you pay for. Instead of jumping the gun and getting a tattoo from your starving artist friend in his dirty basement for $20.......just save up some money until you have enough to go to a real tattoo studio that is clean, professional and knows about blood born diseases. Your beautiful art and lack of HEP-C will thank you later. Otherwise you are stupid and will get what you deserve.

Didn’t have too good of an experience with the work done on me. My letters were crooked and it seemed they only wanted my money and steered me in the wrong direction. One letter was smaller than the others and not enough pressure was applied for the ink to hold. This was my first tattoo and I went and got A second opinion on what SHOULD have been done in terms of letter placement and other shops say they would have never done line work the way it was done here or atleast they would have talked me out of getting the letters the size I did, at argaru there wasn’t much guidance it was kind of like okay whatever she says to get money. Again this is my first tattoo which I made clear so I was Expecting them to be more helpful and give me their thoughts on what would or wouldn’t look good. Truly disappointed. I also kept in contact with the man who did my tattoo and he was rude the last time we spoke. Now I’m stuck with a tattoo that’s hardly readable and I have to get it covered up. Extremely overpriced compared to the other shops in the area and not worth the amount of money I paid compared to the turn out of the tattoo.

Just got my nose pierced there. Cam with a friend and while I was waiting for my friend the lady let me get pierced. Going back to see Justin for my first tattoo soon :)

I had gotten my nose pierced from here and I have it talking out due to the piercing when i went back to get it repierced they said it was going to be 62 and up because the dont re-use the jewelry after I just paid 85 dollars for it.

I went to Aguru to get a tattoo and the artist I went to was very rude, rushed me the entire time, and made me feel very uncomfortable that I decided to not even go through with the tattoo.
