I went in to have a piercing that another piercer botched checked, and the staff was super kind and helpful. The piercer, Bobby, told my friend and me what had been done wrong with our nostril piercings and gave us his honest advice while not pressuring us into anything. We had the piercings removed and then got the opposite nostrils done by Bobby, who did an amazing job! He was sweet, funny, and professional; I have never felt so safe and comfortable around a guy with a needle! I will only be getting my piercings done at Studio 7 from now on.

Great staff at this location. I had to have a piercing I got at a different studio (always remember you get what you pay for) jewelry removed and replaced with a piece from Studio Sevens jewelry and the staff was great with helping me pick a piece that would be comfortable and the correct size. They offer a service to switch out the jewelry which made it a quick and easy process. Piercer at this location is awesome, friendly answered all of my questions on my metal allergies. Place was very clean and sterile, would highly-rated recommend this place. Do want to mention that the jewelry can be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Their quality of jewelry is a lot better than some of the shops I have been too, I will gladly pay the price for great jewelry.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I went into the mall location first and even though the piercer wasnt there, I still got to fill out all my paperwork, pick out my jewelry, and pay before going to the this location later that day. The girls at the mall location were very professional and helpful with all my questions. There are tons of jewelry options. Yes, they are a little expensive but they are all great quality and genuine stones, metal, etc. When I arrived to get pierced it was only a short wait because I had already done my paperwork. The piercer did an AMAZING job doing my medusa. He warned me that it was going to hurt but it was super painless! He was very informative and made sure I was aware of all aftercare.

I went the other day to get my navel pierced, and the staff is amazing. Very bright and welcoming shop, and the piercer was vey knowledgable and nice. They offer a wide range of jewelry as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new piercing and I will be going again in the future!

The jewelry options are endless and surprisingly customizable.My favorite part Marinelli really takes your anatomy into consideration and will make suggestions on alternative placements or jewelry that Im sure will satisfy you.The actual piercing process is quite quick and I made multiple parts of my ear done by him with various thickness in cartilage and each time I felt no hesitation and any pain lasted for literally 3 seconds or less.Mira (The lady at the front desk)is really nice and is patient with me as I constantly ask for prices, advice, or specific metals, shapes, etc.This is the ONLY place I will go to in Wilmington for all of my piercing needs.

Bobby was our piercer- he even recommended a shop near our home town to visit with any issues! The receptionist was also very knowledgeable and kind during the checkout process. I got my nose pierced here in February and have had consistently good experiences since. I recently went to another piercing shop in town and the guy that changed my jewelry was rough and the jewelry itself caused a bump that refused to go away. I went back to Bobby at Studio 7 to have it changed and the bump is already almost gone just a couple days later after following his suggested aftercare. I will be using Studio 7 exclusively in the future for my piercing needs!

I got my vertical philtrum done at the mall location. I felt very taken care of by all of the staff. The front of house was so helpful in picking out jewelry and they were super friendly and encouraging! The piercer was so professional and knowledgeable. He talked me through everything so I felt more at ease. The piercing I got was a more painful one, but he made it a very smooth process and the pain was minimal. I would recommend this place for anyone that wants a piercing. I drive over and hour and a half to be seen here, and almost all of my piercings are from Studio Seven :) the jewelry selection is also amazing!

The best selection of jewelry, especially titanium for my sensitive ears. All of the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The piercer is by far the most professional and experienced one I have ever come across.

Really great exsperience. Very friendly and informative. My only issue was that I drove over an hour and paid almost 200$ for my piercing. I was charged for each single peice of jewelry including the backs to the bars. I know the saying you pay for what you get. But 70$ just for standard jewelry is a bit of a rip off.

Pricey but WORTH IT!! Everyone there is respectful, informative and so so nice. I wasn’t nervous at all. Got my belly button pierced & after assessing my anatomy they let me know I needed a floating belly button ring instead of a normal one. I’m so happy with the way it looks and can’t wait to go back to shop for a new belly ring. They have a large selection of belly rings to choose from and can even customize the metal color!!

Studio seven is a cute quaint shop. The receptionist is very polite and helpful. They had a good selection of nose rings and she helped me pick the right one. I had to pay an extra $5 to have the piercer put my ring in. He made sure that my hole was still open since it had been a couple of months since I last had a ring in it. He was able to put my nose ring in quickly and painlessly, well almost painlessly lol. Very clean shop. Id definitely come back if I need another piercing or more jewelry.

I stopped in a couple weeks ago to discuss an irritated piercing. Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the issue. I returned today to get the jewelry changed and was extremely nervous, despite the fact I have multiple piercings and large tattoos, because in the past a piercer hurt me very badly changing the same piercing. Bobby was very gentle and comforting and gave me great advice to calm the piercing down and was extremely kind. Everyone, including the girl in the front, is so nice and knows what they’re talking about. I will only get piercings here from now on. Wonderful shop!

This place is amazing!!!I had no idea that body jewelry could be so high quality. I got a conch piercing here a few days ago. The place is clean and the girl working at the front desk was so nice and willing to talk to me about different jewelry options. It’s definitely a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The jewelry is great quality and the piercer worked with me to get the placement I wanted. I would recommend this shop to a friend and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Really impressed with the entire process of piercing. I came in for my tragus a bit nervous given I havent gotten a non-lobe piercing in over 10 years. Michael did such a great job that I hardly felt any pain - less pain from previous non-lobe piercing. My only suggestion for anyone here is to check out prices beforehand - you really get what you pay for so its not a cheap place for a piercing. Would highly recommend for folks looking for a quality experience.

I’ve repeatedly had the most incredible experiences at Studio Seven! I’ve been pierced at both the University Landing shop and the mall location over the past 3 months - both are impeccably clean, staffed with knowledgeable and helpful employees, and have the sickest and most extensive jewelry collections I’ve ever seen! Michael is super professional and equally laid back! He’s truly an artist and you can tell he loves what he does by the quality of his work. We’ve done 9 new piercings and he’s corrected 2 that were done incorrectly at another shop - I couldn’t be happier.

Excellent experience having our 15 year old daughters ears pierced here for the first time. It was 4 weeks ago on her birthday and she has had no issues at all. We just had to provide our IDs as parents and sign for her since she is a minor. Michael was very professional and put our daughter at ease. Afterward she said getting her ears pierced wasnt bad at all and she is very happy with the results. Thanks Michael.

I have gotten several piercings from this place, and I have had no issues before. However, I went back recently to change out an earring. An employee recommended a setup that did not work and fell out within 5 seconds of having it. The piercer, Roy, recommended swapping that earring with the conch piercing I have had for 5 years. I was okay with that, and the new earring I bought was put in my conch. The post I was sold for that earring was WAY too short for my ear - after being unable to sleep on that side for two nights in a row, and having a fully healed piercing from 5 years ago suddenly get inflamed, red, and angry, I returned to ask for a longer post, as I should have been sold to begin with. I had to pay for both. I was given a longer post, which felt better after it was put in - HOWEVER, the pain I felt in simply changing out an earring was absurd, and I felt I had gotten my ear re-pierced. From simply changing out an earring. The piercer decided to turn a banana shaped earring to screw the threads in, instead of holding the earring and screwing it in from the back, as logic would suggest you should do. That night when I showered and tried to clean it, after everything, the new earring fell out. And I saw that my ear had been absolutely mangled - a chunk of skin was hanging out of a piercing that, again, had been fully healed for well over 5 years. I had to put my old earring back in, and wasted a LOT of money paying for service fees and TIPS that I feel were not warranted in any way after I saw the job that was done. Waste of time, and a massive waste of money. I will be going to a real shop to get the new earring put in, after my ear heals AGAIN from what was done to it at this place. Go to a real tattoo/piercing parlor and avoid this place.

I bought a gift card for my daughter to get her ear pierced for Christmas, explained to the associate what and who it was for.. shopped around picked out the jewelry then put the correct amount on the card. The day after Christmas I brought my daughter in to get her piercing and was informed she couldn’t get it because she didn’t have proper identification. Which was NEVER explained when I made the purchase. My daughter was so upset. I was told I could not have a refund. Even though they had pulled up my transaction I had all three of my receipts and the card I made the purchase with. Then I was told I would get a refund because of the misinformation when I made the purchase but had to wait for a code from the owner to do a refund but she was out of the country. I have yet to get my money back. So much for making their customers happy. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Beware!

I can’t remember the name of our piercer but he was great! Highly recommend.

Don’t go here they say all their piercings are 30 but then they all the actual jewelry after the fact which is about 20 then they charge some other fee which came out to be 95; I work at a tattoo/piercing shop in Jacksonville and the piercing I got was way cheaper at my studio then this place. This place has nice jewelry for sale but I do not recommend getting pierced here

Ive gone many many times to Studio Seven. Every time I go everyone is incredibly nice. They are very good at recognizing faces so after a little bit youre remembered every time. It is my go to place without a doubt. Okay actually its the only place I go. Everything is so clean and sterile its amazing. I have sensitive skin and the metals that are used by this shop have never caused issues with it!! I definitely recommend to everyone!!

Do not buy jewelry from this place! And most especially do not trust the piercers to replace jewelry for you. I came here to buy an earring for my flat piercing in my ear (spent $50 total on one piece of jewelry) and had them replace it. I took their recommendation on the fact that I needed a shorter post, took their recommendation on the size, and used their piercer to replace the jewelry. The next morning I when I woke up the earring had fallen out. I was able to save it once by finding it and replacing it, but it then fell out again a couple hours later. When I came into the store that very same day (less than 24 hours after the first visit) I explained the situation and they would not give me a replacement. In fact they did not offer ANY discount or compensation for it despite the fact that it was the same staff and they recognized me form the day before. They took no responsibility for the fact that their staff were the ones who messed up. Will never shop here again.

I first visited Studio Seven back in 2016 and have been a loyal customer since! I have had nothing but positive experiences at both locations and couldn’t be happier. I have been lucky to have Michael for all three of my ear piercings(and soon to be 4th). He does an awesome job and I trust his opinion and suggestions when picking out jewelry and piercing positioning. I am working on upgrading all my piercings to gold jewels and Michael has been a huge help with that process as well. Both locations have endless options of jewelry. I absolutely love this place I went to get my nose pierced. From then on I have gotten all of my piercings from them. They are very friendly and the atmosphere is amazing.

I had my septum pierced by Roy yesterday. He used a 14 gauge needle and didnt even need to use a clamp. He was extremely nice and made the whole process a breeze. He was quick with the needle and getting my jewelry placed, and really gentle. 24 hours later and I dont even feel like I had my nose pierced. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have been going to Studio VII for a couple years now and I absolutely love it. They have the friendliest staff, the best selection of unique jewelry and Mike their piercer is beyond helpful. He always helps me change my jewelry out and explains in detail what the jewelry is and how to use it. He is a fast piercer and has the jewelry inserted before you get a chance to feel it! Everyone is laid back making the environment stress free and best of all I leave the shop feeling confident that Im not going to regret my new body mods! Best friend went to get her naval pierced. She didnt have enough extra skin so the guy didnt do it for risk of body rejection. He was more worried about her personal health than getting her money. She had a backup plan and wanted to get her septum pierced and he did it for her, everything was clean, organized, and everyone was helpful and kind. GREAT PLACE.

Mr. Robert worked on my little girls (8 years old) first piercing and he was wonderful, patient, and talked her through the whole process. He answered all of her questions and gave her some pointers. I would absolutely go back to Mr. Robert again. The ladies at the front of the shop were excellent and helping her pick out the pair of earings she wanted.

Loved it here! Staff took their time looking at jewelry with me. They pointed to their favorite pieces and made suggestions. They asked questions that I hadnt thought about like they genuinely cared about what I was going for with my ear. Ive been back on several occasions and always feel welcome. They even ask you not to touch your jewelry so the place stays clean, its so sanitary. Been to so many shops that look like you might catch something. Dont waste your time or money anywhere else and up with a sub par piercing. This place is LEGIT.

After a ton of research, I found Dixie at Studio Seven. She worked and worked with me in preparation for my tattoo and came up with an awesome design. Then she even came in on her day off to work with me at a time I could be in Wilmington, NC. (I live in central Georgia). She took her time and walked me through the process.The tat came out so realistic that I even had a couple of people think a picture I took of it was an actual leaf that I had laid on my arm. Ive had awesome comments even from people that usually dont even like tattoos. Dixie is amazing and Ill absolutely use her again when I get another one, no matter how far I have to drive !!!

Brought my girlfriend to here to get her navel pierced. She had wanted to do it for years, but only recently plucked up the courage to do so. Had heard some good reports about the place and she was told that Mike, the piercer and owner was really good. These reports were absolutely spot on! Place, first of all, was really really clean! I had a preconceived notion that piercing studios were grimy but I couldnt have been further wrong. Mike was extremely pleasant and courteous and helped my gf feel at ease, as she was quite nervous when we got there. He was very calm and relaxed, and kept talking to her while the piercing took place, so much so, that she didnt even realize it was done until he told her to look down! Great service, great staff, and obviously an owner who cares about what he does. She will be back and already has recommended Mike to some of her friends who were looking to get piercings.

Ive been going to studio VII Piercing and Tattoo since they first opened about 4 years ago and I have always had great customer service. The girls are always super friendly, the shop is really really clean, and always looks nice. They have the biggest selection of body jewelery. ( more than anyone else in town) Ive been pierced by mike and hes really good, fast, and sterile. I get tattooed by Robbie Kass and let me tell you.... hes fantastic. His line work is clean and his color is amazing. All is all this shop is great and I highly recommend this shop to everyone.

Wasent to impressed when I was charged a $5 fee to install a $130.00 nose ring I purchased for my wifes birthday. We will not be back to purchase more after that incident. I being a business owner myself understand paying extra for products and services, but I couldnt see charging a customer a $5 fee to install a $130.00 nose ring they just bought from your business.

This place looks fancy but don’t let looks deceive you. Jewelry is overpriced junk and the staff wasn’t helpful. I took my gf in to get her lip pierced, this isn’t her first time getting a piercing btw, and the piercer didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. He used WAY to big of a gauge and charged me an arm and a leg for it. The jewelry wasn’t even that expensive and it still came out to be about $100. I would not recommend this shop for their products or their piercing, you are way better off going downtown and getting it professionally done for half the price and better, friendlier staff.

Spent $30 on a small flat back hoop and a cork screw opal nose stud both in rose gold. The price isn’t what bothers me as I’ve had many piercings in my life, I know you get what you pay for. The thing that bothered me is after I put in the nose stud, a week with it in, it started to turn my nose GREEN and I replaced it with my original jewelry I was pierced with since it was so swollen. When I took the jewelry out ALL of the rose gold coloring was gone. This is obviously cheap low quality jewelry as my rose gold hoop had no issues with loosing color, changing the color of my skin, or causing my piercing to swell. Luckily it wasn’t infected. Will never buy here again to be overcharged for junk I could have bought at hot topic or Spencer’s.

I had two cartilage piercings done and a nose hoop put in my existing piercing. The whole thing was almost $200 which was a lot of money for two piercings (which were some of the less expensive studs) and a nose hoop. I get it costs money to have sterile equipment, experienced piercers, etc. but it shocked me when I saw how much the cost was. I wanted a silver nose hoop and the one we agreed on was a very very dark silver color, unlike what I wanted. When I said it looked more black than silver I was assured it was just the lighting in the shop and that it would be more silver when I went in different lighting (it was very dark still when I went outside in the sun). Also the nose hoop was a much larger gauge than my nose was originally pierced with and hurt REAL bad when it was put in, not something I was warned about or told about before having it put in. Yes, I should have asked what the gauge was of the hoop but I asked what size I needed and trusted the expertise of the people in the shop.All this being said, the people who worked here were very nice and qualified for what they do, and Im sure my experience was one in very many perfectly fine experiences. The shop is super cool, they have unique jewelry for sale, and my cartilage piercings are doing fine now.

The people that work at the shop in the mall are poorly trained and unfriendly. All they seemed to care about is taking your money, and left a huge bubble in my daughters ear that has never healed properly, very disappointed will not be giving them anymore of my business or recommending to any one

Over priced body jewelery. For the price they charge, maybe they could afford to pay some of the employees more and theyd finally get a better attitude. They tried to charge my girlfriend a fortune for a nose stud and when asked why it costs so much they replied its made of silver. Maybe that line would work on your average shopper, but I happen to know a little bit about spot price of silver and their mark up is astronomical.

Staff could be friendlier especially when help is asked for & the young woman acts like you are a bother. Just had a recent nose piercing a few weeks ago, been in this store 3 times & this young woman has acted in this manner every time. Very condescending

LONG REVIEW- I included everything I would want to know if I were a new customer.One day I just happened to be walking in the mall and I stopped in (because it is such a convenient location so why not). I was immediately helped by a lovely employee. I stopped by a few more times, contemplating piercings, looking at jewelry and learning about their procedure for performing the piercings and for keeping things sanitary. Finally, I had enough money to get my belly button pierced and once again the staff was amazing (not to mention that every one of them has awesome piercings). I got my belly button pierced by Roy, who I loved. He was so sweet and helpful. I like to see things clean and their procedure went above and beyond to keep things sanitary. He wiped down the chair before and after I sat in it, opened a brand new set of sealed tools, used new cleaning products both before and after the piercing to keep things sanitary, and even let me keep the purple marker that was used to mark the piercing because they do not reuse them. I went in to have my belly ring changed a few times while it was healing and I was treated with such care. The piercing healed beautifully thanks to the instructions and cleanser provided by the staff. I went in to have my nose done and I was sad to find out that Roy had moved, I was a little scared to have a new piercer, Michael. I went through with getting the piercing anyway and I am so glad I did. Michael was so sweet and professional, he gave me a compliment about my hair, talked me through the entire piercing procedure, kept things just as clean as the first time I was pierced there, and made sure I was 100% happy and certain with the placement before piercing. After the piercing I was feeling light headed, I told him and within a second he was feeding me a sugar tab and turning the fan on. I am so thankful that he was able to handle that situation and he even made me feel better and laugh after, saying that it had happened before. Not only was my nostril piercing my most easily healing piercing, it was also the least painful to heal. I have been in to have my nose ring changed, and even for just a top change, things are kept as sanitary as they are for a piercing. I was even able to message Michael on Instagram and ask him if I could keep my nose ring in for an MRI, not only did he respond quickly, but he also informed me that they pierce with implant grade titanium, which is safe for an MRI! I am so thankful that they do that, because it was safe and convenient for an MRI that I did not know I would need. I absolutely love Studio VII, stop in and you will be greeted by amazing staff who will help you pick out dope jewelry (from a beautiful selection) and help you decide what to get pierced next. I will forever recommend getting pierced here to all of my friends and family!

Very clean and friendly atmosphere. I had a tattoo done with my three boys names and birth dates one I have put off for years due to I wanted it perfect and was scared of it coming out wrong. So on my adventure here in Wilmington I decided to go for it. I have to say I am no disappointed what so ever. If I leave here I will come back for cover up and more tats as well. Mike and his staff are wonderful. Not only are they fun to visit but they are knowledgeable and the shop is very clean. Its the best place in Wilmington to get tattooed and pierced!

I had my lip pierced there just last weekend and the piercer was very helpful and comforting. He talked me through the whole process and afterwards gave me tons of recommendations for aftercare. I chose to go here because a friend of mine was having a tattoo finished there that day and raved about the service. His tattoo looked amazing as well. 2 days prior my neighbor took my friends advice and had a tattoo done there which also turned out amazing and I was sold. This place is amazing. I wont go anywhere else for anything! Best customer service as well as tons of jewelry to pick from!!

A very professional but friendly atmosphere. I wanted my belly button pierced but the piercer told me my body would reject it if I did bc of my anatomy and the fact that i didnt have enough extra skin. He was more worried about my experience and results than my money. I also had planned to get my septum pierced in the future so i decided to get that done instead. Turns out, I was a perfect candidate. He was organized and everything was clean. He showed me a brand new needle and took it out of the package in front of me. It was quick and almost painless!! My septum is taking well to their high quality jewelry and i love it!!

I got my tragus pierced here and I am very impressed! The piercer was awesome- he explained everything as he did it and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about my new piercing. The studio was clean and the piercing room was even cleaner! I will definitely be back for all of my future piercings!
