I am new to Metro by T-mobile and havent switched phone service in a long time. David Harrell was excellent. He knows exactly what he is doing. He made this experience the best phone experience that I have ever had. He is truly awesome. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently. I recommend David and this location to everyone. WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS!!!There is an employee working at this Metro pcs on Market st (Young black male with braids) that is scamming customers out of their money. I walked in asking to upgrade my old phone and asked for the cheapest upgrade he had. He directed me to a phone that stated it was $69.99 with an additional 20$ upgrade fee however he tried to tell me that it was actually $139.99 (+20$) for the same phone. I felt something fishy was going on so I left and drove 3 miles down the road to the MetroPCS on college and bought the same exact phone for the listed price 69.99(+20$)+tax which totally $98 and when I began to tell the employee at this store (who was excellent btw) about the scam being run, he was fully aware and told me he warned that employee not to do that so its apparently been an on-going issue that needs to be resolved IMMEDIATELY.

I loved Samantha and the trainee she had with her... even tho they opened 20 min late Samantha was so helpful with get my phone set up... the IT person had to switch cell towers and Sam stayed on the phone to make sure it worked... made sure fees were reversed and that my phone was all clean ed after since it was a 3 piece cover thatβs really hard to take off... she was helping me at least 30 min and was so patient and professional... I even had my 3 y/o non verbal autistic daughter who was all over the place and they never seemed annoyed even before I told them she was non verbal mid functioning autistic...Sam even sent a text to make sure my phone received it and that my internet was working π we just moved here so itβs important that I have a reliable network cuz of gps and setting up the resources my daughter needs...

More staff has been put on during the day so it makes for a quicker in and out and maybe home just in time for 8pm tv..Been with metro for over 6 yrs.now. and now are said the same freaking have six phone linesAll staff are very knowledgeable. However, there has been a lot of employee turn over lately..
Smelled like marijuana as soon as I opened the door. Sales man very eager to make me a deal.......on $349 for a phone because I already have their service, but itll I was new and switching service it would be $170, come on let me make you deal was repeated about 3 more times after that.

Sent a friend to buy a new sim card for my phone, because I couldnt leave work. Employee Trainee T. Vaughn gave her a difficult time because he didnt understand that she was purchasing a sim card for a prepaid account, that I would activate myself. Mr. Vaughn needs lessons in appropriate POSITIVE customer service and interactions.

I wish I could give the Metro Store on Kerr Avenue in Wilmington less than 1 star. The women working there have no sense of customer service and were more interested in their own business then the customers.Every time a new customer made contact they were taken care of, while the ones who were already waiting had to wait until the new customer was done. Nonsense of good customer service. No sense of priority. No order.I will not be going back to this place.

Very helpful employees. They helped me get my new phone activated in just a few minutes and were friendly in doing so. The good service was refreshing in comparison to how unhelpful some places/employees can be.
Had some really bad issues with this store. Attempted to purchase a phone several times that was advertised on website never had stock in any location in area. Finally broke down and purchased a completely different phone. Speant a few hundred dollars. Phone completely screwed up after a few hours. Tried to return the next day. Was told to wait until their manager came in. Manager came in a week later and told me I couldnt return the phone for a different one I had to wait for them to send in for a different one. All I wanted was my money back. I had no phone for several weeks and I have 3 children, this is unacceptable. Went in store to get phone they sent for and they had to send it back saying they called me serveral times although I had no phone for them to call. Tried to get refund for service. They gave me the number for metro and I gave them my card information. Never received the refund of my money to my account. Now Im out $300. Employees seemed nice but I will never do service with them again after 3 years of paying my bill on time and crappy service just to be ripped off.

Well I went to metro on oleander to pay a bill 2 months ago..longstory short the girl behind the counter keot my money didnt place it on account .Next day after just paying night before phone service was suspended .It has been an ordeal then had to pay the full bill amount again.It was the one and only time I was not given a reciept.Then when went in to discuss it they kicked me out of store .I spoke to people on phone and they told me they would look into it nothing happened next bill time came around still nothing so used metro chat and they aknowledged the problem and gave me a 10 dollar credit for next bill.That was nothing in comparison to the stress I went thru and it was the only money I had due to financial issues so it couldnt have happened at a worse time.Before the incident though the girl in there was so rude and my phone was not working on top of that and she wouldnt even try to help me figure out the problem.This is the only time I have had a problem from metro and I have always paid bills on time and have been a customer with them for years now so was pretty upset that this occured and that they didnt want to fix the issue.So moral of the story stay away from metro on Oleander and the girls name Im pretty sure is Erica .I am still very angry about it and will be switching services and all because of one person.I work hard for the money I have I dont wamt to just give it away.
