Went to the Christiana branch to trade in some phones, seems the guy was very reluctant to help so I got a quote and decided to see if the same value would be given here (2nd opinion). Called ahead and was told it can be done with the phones I had so I said I was on the way. Arrived and was told the machine wasn’t working by the same guy who I spoke to on the phone. This could have been said so I wouldn’t waste my time going here. It’s convenient that happened AFTER I came from Christiana Mall too.So I asked someone else to go in and they helped with the trade in. Reviews don’t matter anymore but I felt this needed to be said. Thanks.

How many people work here that can’t answer the phone? Oh 4 today.

They literally never answer the phone. Trying to get information before I come in (obviously since it’s a pandemic and I don’t want to waste my own time) I’ve been calling multiple times a day for three days now and not once has anyone answered. Do they just not have to answer phones? I don’t understand.

Wall to wall games and collectibles. Wait times vary based on customer needs, possibly 5-15 minutes. GREAT selection of games both new and old. They do accept trade ins of old and new video games and accessories. Trade in prices however are less than favorable and for cash trade ins its 10% less than store credit. But overall a decent and necessary Staple in the Video game community.

There a woman here, she is the manager. She is very rude. No customer service. Me and my 12 yr old son to trade his microphone for his ps4, which I always purchase a warranty for. She stated I did not have a warranty once I showed my receipt and sticker. She was very unprofessional and rude and would not help me. Go to the Game stop I. Prices corner the manager Dave is very welcoming, professional and friendly. I went to this game stop in prices corner. Dave immediately said they should have offered me a warranty and I was able to swap my sons microphone

For all you gamers out there, this is the only place you really need to go for any to all your gaming needs... I really wanted a yeti microphone they had on sale but they didnt have it in stock... one employee took about 5 mins to check in the back and came out with a all black yeti which was even better then the one in the ad... and it was only 10 more dollars... hell yeah brother!

Nostalgic experience and a good place for gamers of all varieties. However, the staff was most unpleasant and didnt even acknowledge my presence. Hopefully this is not the case with the other staff.

Same deals you would find at other game stop locations although their clearance items seem to be better than other nearby locations. That being said their preowned games selection is comparable lacking when put up against the other nearby game stop. The service is always nice and they try and go through people as quickly as possible while still offering deals and giving great individual service.

Great friendly service. Very informative on new games and devices. Lovey experience learning a few new things from the staff. I will be back as service was fabulous.

Kirkwood Hwy store has awesome gifts to purchase... clothing: hats, shirts, socks etc; knick knacks for everything you can think of; book bags & pins etc; pops & figurines and statues; and of course games of every type & kind, headphones, gaming systems etc. Employees are very helpful and nice...they know what their selling! Weve been going to this Game Stop since they opened!

I came to this location a few days ago and the general manager Alexis was extremely rude and denied me and my son from getting any type of credit for our used PS4 games that we brought in. The way she spoke was extremely embarrassing and degrading! She shook her head the entire time while checking the games and then said that the games werent in a good enough condition to resell and that they dont accept games with any scratches. Today, I went to the GameStop at Prices Corner to get a credit for a used PS4 system and they gladly accepted the same used games that Alexis swore to God that they didnt accept at any GameStop. This location has very very very poor management that needs to be retrained with knowing the companies correct policies! No customer should have to be put through that horrible experience!.We spend alot of money at GameStops all over Delaware and have been doing so for years. Alexis not only upset my son, she wasted our time and made use feel extremely unwelcomed and unvalued in front of other costumers in the store. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Prices Corner management is awesome compared to this location!

I had recently moved & now this is my nearest Gamestop. Staff are fun & knowledgeable. Havent had any problems as of yet from this location.

The associates were very pleasant and they helped me with every question/need and held a conversation with me.

Gamestops are so good and the workers are so helpful I find a hard time picking out which is my favorite game stop and sometimes I go to different ones.

Whether you are looking for the newest titles, or something a little older, Gamestop is the place to go. They dont just stop at the games, they have all sorts of gaming, comic, and movie memorabilia as well. This specific store is tucked away in the shopping center, its behind a Verizon store, down a little hill. The staff is pretty knowledgeable about games, so if you are unsure about a selection, they can probably help you out. I only have a few small complaints about the store. Its a little cramped, if there is more than a few people shopping, it gets a little tight. Secondly, I am not a fan of upselling. If I am spending $60 or more for a game, dont ask me for more money on top of that for something that isnt even out yet. Its a bad trend plaguing the game industry. A lot of people have wasted money preordering games that turned out o be less than great (No Mans Sky).Other than that, solid Gamestop, would recommend.
