So far. This is the best ABC store Ive been too in Wilmington. Nice Staff. Even 1 guy working over the counter noticed I was buying bourbon and showed me a popular recommendation of a good bourbon that I havent tried. I bought it. And I was not disappointed. Will definitely be coming back.

Hey man I only walked in for like 10 minutes so I can only really give a 3 star but I have 0 complaints I found exactly what I was looking for AND stumbled into a limited edition if my favorite rum. Still lovin it :³

This ABC store is larger than most in Wilmington. Prices are all the same through out any ABC in Wilmington. Selection is better, pricing the same.NC controls all ABC stores and profit and taxes go directly to the state. All stores are clean and staff are always friendly.

Service at this Store has ALWAYS been a SWIFT experience! Knowing what I came for, I get it and in line with a minimal amount of time spent in line. The Customer Service people who have waited on me are VERY PLEASANT AND ENGAGING! Even when I have caught one of them out on the floor stocking the shelves, they are just as pleasant. I HUMBLY pride myself with the ability to say SOMETHING to get a smile or even a little chuckle/laugh; and theyre always quite receptive of my efforts. Im sorta kinda partial to this location and I would recommend it to anyone who cares for a WIDE selection of beverages! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I just came from this store with my mom and the cashier refused to let my mom who was buying liquor for an event purchase! Then she proceeded to tell us I shouldn’t even be in the store, since when do you have to be strictly be 21 to enter a liquor store?? If that’s the case they need to ID at the door!! I have been in plenty of liquor stores that have allowed me to enter. This place is weird as hell!

They do not follow any ADA compliant laws regarding mask exemptions. Extremely rude staff and ill-informed on EO 169 exemptions. The communist stronghold must stop. Walter was nice though.

This location was fine however the market and east wood location was rude and threatening.It was 830 a.m sat morn. We were in the parking lot smoking on the side of the building and was told to leave. We inform the attendant were waiting for you to open.He responds; THIS is a state building and have to vacate..I felt if i hadnt left that its a possibility i would lose my freedom.

Having the worst day of my life. I finally got my car back. Drive well over the speed limit, weaved in and out of traffic and ran like my life depended on it so that i could get there before 8p.m. I MADE IT! 8:57 P.M. if you intended to close five or ten minutes before eight please post it. Youre supposed to close the time you posted on the door. And the time he posted on a website. So I drove all this way and took all that chance for nothing.

Always a decent experience & surprisingly diverse selections (hell, the even have Japanese whiskeys & sake!), especially since the renovations a few years ago. Only docked a star though b/c sometimes during peak times or holidays the parking lot can get hella chaotic to maneuver in & out of, lol, others its great store for your alcoholic needs (wait....alcoholic needs sounded a bit questionable, didnt it? 😯LOL)

Good selection. Im from up north where we dont have ABC stores so it sucks that its closed on Sundays. Its more expensive then liquor stores up north. They wouldnt sell to me just because I went in with my bf and his I.d. was expired. Its bullshyt to be honest I dont understand these ABC stores why not just have regular liquor stores??? They were quite mean about not selling to me and the clerk who delt with me came off as a jerk and was not nice at all.

4 stars for the staff alone. There isnt anything special about the NC ABC stores. They sell liquor nothing else, like how in Virginia theres alcoholic treats you can purchase.
