At 64, and having been an avid motorcyclist since I was 18, Ive purchased a number of new motorcycles over the years (at least 25). Although this was the first time I paid full MSRP, it was also one of the most pleasant and seamless purchases Ive ever had. Jack Whitacre was my salesman and his knowledge, professionalism and easy-going demeanor made this an extremely positive and memorable experience.

Timbrook Honda folks are a well-oiled machine, which made for the best new vehicle purchase experience ever for me. From the time I walked in to the showroom until the time I left, there was very little waiting. The DMV work was flawless, including my plate transfer. I cant think of any improvement opportunities, which is pretty rare for me. Keep up the good work!

I really wanted the new Trail 125. Timbrook took my deposit the day I called and months before the expected delivery date. I was super pleased to get a phone call from them the first week that model started arriving in the US. Within a week, we closed the deal. They were very easy to work with and no pressure. They do not have any crazy markups, even for a new, high-demand bike like mine. Ill be back the next time I get a Honda!

Timbrook Honda takes really good care of their customers. I called in looking for a specific color of a bike within 24 hours I was leaving on my new bike. Inside the office everyone worked together as a team to take care of all the customers needs. I met several members of the team during my visit and they were all friendly and welcoming. Jack was knowledgeable on the bike and told me some extra features I wasnt aware of on the bike. I made the best decision giving them my business. You have a forever customer.
I had the pleasure of working with Steve Young and and Jimmy Troxell. I wish I could leave more stars than 5. First of all, the location is great. Showroom is very clean and team is friendly. Steve is a great, honest, knowledgeable and extremely helpful salesman. Jimmy is fast and extremely efficient. I was looking for a recreational small pit/scooter to ride around and Steve treated me like any other customer. It was a very small purchase but felt the red carpet treatment. I was so happy that the next day I came back and bought a 2021 Rebel 500 and will probably come back and buy more stuff. They earned themselves a long term customer because Im definitely coming back.

My dealings with the sales team were flawless!! Steve set me up with a reservation for my grom over the phone and I drove up the next day to pick it up. The whole process went great, but as I sat in the parking lot waiting for the store to open I had Jeff pull in and tell me I needed to move out of HIS parking space. None of the spaces were marked reserved and there were plenty of open spaces for his vehicle, meanwhile I had a trailer on my truck and he wanted me to block the thoroughfare so he could have his shaded spot I assume. I really found this concerning at a powerhouse dealership and that is why I didnt rate it 5 star. Employees should not treat customers as if they were in a Walmart parking lot in my opinion. It was even more disturbing to hear that he was part of the management staff. Couldnt say enough for the sales team; honest, polite, respectful, punctual, and concerned. Hope this is good reflection of my experience.

I had an excellent experience at Timbrook Honda. I was traveling and noticed my back tire had cord showing. I called them at when they opened at 9 a.m. on 5/29/2020 and spoke with Mike White. He was courteous and sympathetic to my bad decision of thinking I could get 1 more trip out of the bad tire. He told me he could squeeze me in even though they were booked solid. I rode 30 miles to get to Timbrook from Front Royal. It was a great facility with a kind staff. They put a back tire on my 1999 Valkyrie and back on the road I went. Thank you Mike and to the mechanic for taking great care of my pride and joy.

My husband and I bought a new Honda Pioneer 700 from Timbrook back in July of 2020. The sales team was very professional and knowledgeable. Aside from me and my husband not agreeing on which unit we wanted, everything went very smoothly. We added the roof and windshield that day and are very glad that we did. At the beginning of this year, I wanted to surprise my husband with the cloth doors that go with our side by side, I contacted Timbrook and they helped me purchase them without letting my husband know. I was able to keep it a secret from him, with their help, until the day I had to send him to go get them. He is extremely happy with his matching camo door. Spent over $6,000 on a new bike that I later found out was missing a part. I left several voicemails with no return call. After sending several emails, Brandon said he would have a manager get in touch with me. It’s been nearly a month and I haven’t heard from anyone.

We had a great experience at TimBrook Honda with everyone we talked to even the other customers were friendly!!. It was a busy but pleasant place to be. We went there to see a Honda Ruckus, but bought a Metropolitan instead :-). We were hanging around the Ruckus and Metropolitan area in the show room waiting for Jack for a few mins and was approached by Bill (later introduced himself as the Sales Mgr since Jack was preoccupied with another customer). Bill answered all our questions and showed us the Metropolitan and set me up to test drive the Ruckus. Bill was upfront and seemed very honest about the pricing and such. He didnt come off as a slick salesman (which we much appreciated). Once we finalized our decision, Jimmy quickly processed our financing. Everything went well. We look forward to picking up the Met in a week when come back from vacation. Lastly, we were looking at helmets and really appreciated Lisa who helped us with the proper fitting and advice. (We hope we got Lisas name correct). Would recommend this Honda dealer to all.

I purchased a new ATV from Timbrook and found that the each employee I came in contact with exceeded my expectations. In general, I received the information I needed to proceed with the purchase and after the sale, the fellow in parts (I wish I remembered his name) and Jeff in service (to include Jason) were SUPER concerned that I had what I needed to make my purchase a positive and filling experience. Jeff in service is a problem solver and takes the time to work with the customer to make sure he/she is happy. I know how busy he is so that really impressed me. I recommend Timbrook Honda to anyone who wishes for a pleasant buying experience. Some of the bygone days of service still survive there! I know I can call there anytime with questions or call for parts and be satisfied beyond by expectations. A rarity these days.

I called Timbrook about a week ago and spoke with Robert expressing interest in buying a Pioneer 1000. Robert advised they didnt have much in stock but took our contact info and what exactly we were looking for. a couple days later Robert called and advised that multiple new pioneers had come in if we would like to come look. Robert took the time to show us every single pioneer they had even the ones in the back that werent ready for the showroom floor yet. Robert was great to work with, had an answer to all of our questions and was not pushy in any way shape or form. We decided on a pioneer different than we originally were looking at. Robert and management made all of the paperwork a breeze to go through. Cant say enough Great thing about the guys here at Timbrook. They definitely have a new customer for life!

I just want to say that the service that I received from Timbrook Honda was over the top. All of the employees at Timbrook were very helpful.Bill is the sales manager and he was really good at answering any questions I had and I had quite a few. I think the guys name that put my bike on the truck was Jeff. He was awesome too he showed me how to properly secure my motorcycle on my truck and even showed me a special knot that he ties when securing the bike that wont let the tie downs gain any slack. I couldnt be happier with my experience in purchasing my very first motorcycle. I will remember that day for a long time, and will be coming back for exhaust installation and power commander eventually.

Horrible experience at Timbrook Honda.I live about an hour away so I wanted to check the reviews for this place before making the drive. Overall they seemed good so I decided to go with them. Unfortunately their service would be nothing like what the reviews said from a few months ago.I called about bringing my dirt bike in that was having starting issues. They said they were busy so we made an appointment to drop it off one week from the phone call. Fast forward a week, I drop off my bike. Then another week goes by and I didn’t hear anything from them so I give them a call. They tell me they looked at it and they needed to do a few things. I tell them ok let’s get it fixed. Then another week goes by and again no update. I keep calling them as they would never call me once and their response the following 2 weeks is “we’re gonna order the parts for it and that we are busy”.Now it has been 3 weeks and all they did was look at it. No work has been done to it at all. I made the drive back to the dealer to pick up my bike so I can bring it to someone else who actually cares about their customers.Just beware, whatever you bring to them will likely just be sitting there without any idea of what is going on. What a waste of time.

I know that I am not the easiest person to deal with when it comes to buying new toys. But, Rich and Bill in sales were truly a pleasure to deal with. I called more times than I care to keep track of because I had a long drive and wanted to ensure that the deal was right for me. The team was patient, caring, and took their time to address my concerns even though it was a super busy day. After driving out there, I was accompanied by my 8 month old who didnt have time to sit still. They were great and getting everything together so I could entertain her, and even assisted in entertaining! I drove in from Maryland because true customer service seems to have vacated the dealers over here. I say that because Ive bought 7 or 8 machines in the last 6 years and not one has been from a local dealer because of how the sales team acts towards customers. I only mention all of this because the genuine care and concern for not only the deal but, my daughter and I really mean a lot. Even as busy as they were, the team continually checked up on us and made sure that we were doing ok. So, thank you guys and gals of Timbrook. I highly recommend dealing with this team even if it means a little extra driving.

Looked for about 4 months for a replacement for my 17 Honda Africa Twin DCT. A wonderful motorcycle but now lacks new riding enhancements such as cruise control and lean angle TT and antilock lean. So I looked at just about every dealer within 100 miles and was not not brand loyal. I was looking for a bike that had the most current riding modes and the “incidental stuff” like looks and of course performance. But all those with a reasonable price tag. I also wanted to have a brand that can be supported by more than one local dealer. And the odds of finding a dealer/repair when traveling. All major brands were considered. All were awesome motorcycles but started around 18-19 for the base models before adding all the cool stuff. I also looked at the 2020 Honda Africa Twin at Timbrook’s dealer in Winchester VA. Steve Young and William Moon were very personable and friendly and didn’t push me. A lesson that others could use. But they always keep me informed without being aggravating. I was at first not in love with the ‘20 AT but I found that pictures do not do it justice. For 17k it is loaded with every conceivable up to date riding aids. After riding it I absolutely fell in love. What a dreamboat of a motorcycle. Everything is spot on. The power mapping with no shortage of power for the amazing twin engine is spectacular. The DCT is not only a chill out way to ride but also is a blast to drive hard and have fun. DCT is also a safety feature being a poor mans hill hold and emergency braking...it’s always in gear and the right gear. The electronic shocks are beyond excellent. The lights are the best I have ever seen even if the lean angle lights were not present. Let me say one thing about the lean angle lights....wow. I have never been more satisfied in all my 35 years of riding. Thanks Steve and William at Timbrook!
I generally dont write reviews, and feel that this platform is too often a means to snipe at a merchant. Ive been to Timbrook Honda on three occasions, and was treated well by the sales staff. Everyone was professional, and the showroom was immaculate. But, I doubt I will ever be a Timbrook customer. Ive attempted (twice) to purchase a Honda Recon ES, offering Timbrook Honda full MSRP ($4549) plus tax ($273). Instead of making the sale, Timbrook adds on freight charges ($400), and some unspecified charge for another $400, bringing the $4549 machine to $5600 out the door. I was quoted a 15% markup over MSRP (before tax), and Timbrook claimed it was non-negotiable. Timbrooks margin over volume tact must be working for them, but has lost them an easy cash sale.
This was my first time using Timbrook Honda and I will be returning. They squeezed me in last minute for my overdue inspection and got it done quickly. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The showroom was very well kept and organized. Definitely recommend them!

Awful experience. Sales staff was quite rude and not helpful at all. Was told 3 different stories every time I called and stopped in to check on a sale. Never got called back. Finally stopped into the store and got a 4th story and just had to walk out. Seems like the salesman was not concerned with making a small sale.6-19-20 Update spoke to the finance manager on Wednesday. Still waiting for a call back that he said would be “just a few minutes “ two day’s later still nothing. However I called ridersville in West Virginia. Gave them mine and my co-signers numbers. Was approved and will pick up my new Ruckus tomorrow. THANKS FOR NOTHING TIMBROOK!!!!!
Never again.Strike one:Their mechanic claimed the the ABS was bad on a bike I was trading in. It wasnt he just didnt know that the ABS light on a BMW flashes on start up. Rather than admit ignorance, Well first off the ABS is shot on this bike.Strike two:Had a fueling problem with a new bike under warranty. It took weeks of trying to convince them that the issue existed before they attempted to fix it. They replaced the tank & pump, which just restarted the clock on the problem because the problem was with the tanks themselves. they also reinstalled the tank without one of the rubber mounts which caused it to sit crooked & broke the tab off of one of the side fairings.Honda would later issue a recall for this but not before my bike would be afflicted with it a second time. (both times several hundred miles from home, just for extra fun)Rather than suffer through another several weeks of arguing & waiting I just fixed the fueling problem myself. It was well known & well documented on forums long before Honda issued their recall. It was during this repair that I discovered the missing rubber mount & the broken tab.Strike 3:I ordered a new rear tire And was told it would arrive the following week.4 weeks & several phone calls later I asked them to refund my deposit for the tire, which they did. When I asked them about mounting a tire I ordered online I was told that the mounting cost would be higher for a tire that I didnt purchase from them. Not surprising. This is a pretty common (and stupid) practice at dealerships, but not after 4 weeks of waiting for a tire they couldnt get.So congratulations, Timbrook. Your refusal to budge on your $15 fluff fee was the straw that cost you this customer & earned you this review.
Dropped-off my sons CRF-150R for a service (new tires, replace damaged rim, oil change, replace worn parts, etc.). Three weeks go by and was told it was ready for pick-up, my son drove 45 minutes (each way), but bike was not ready due to a back-ordered part...OK, that happens. Three more weeks go by and the dealership called again and said the bike is ready to go, and to please come pick it up. Again, my son drove 45 minutes and the parts were there, but other than an oil change, NONE of the work was completed!!!! The parts were in a box, rim not installed, tires not put on, chain adjusters, NOTHING. My son took the bike, parts, and we will go somewhere else to have the work done. Horrible service. DO NOT GO TO Timbrook Honda, plenty of options around - six weeks, $750, 4.5 hours of driving (including initial drop off), and bike is in the same condition.
