Worst company I have ever used originally ordered a SouthBend 850hp clutch and after two weeks of waiting I get informed the (estimated) ship date won’t be till another three weeks so I call thoroughbred and they guarantee me that they can get me a SouthBend 650hp the next day so I agree and after 4 days of waiting still nothing on delivery or the refund for the price difference so I had to cancel my order completely absolutely garbage considering they were all for taking the money from my pocket and costing me almost a month without being able to work

Tried to order a transmission filter/pan looked like a great product online. I saw all the online reviews of backorder parts and waiting forever. It still holds true. The first contact was to let me know they dont have it. I had some time so I told them to proceed. The expected shipment date was passed so I inquired. They told me they had no info. So I waited another week then canceled the order. I had to order a similar product from a different company because I was out of time. Very disappointed in that fact only because it looked really nice. The customer service was quick when we wrote. They were never rude to us. They issued a refund that could take up to 3 days, it came back less than the 3 days.

Dont waste your time or money here. They do not stand behind their products or warranty. Lost a motor and several thousand dollars, and was told thats your problem. not ours.

I had a shipping issue with a part that was ordered as well as ordering a part that was later listed as back order that i needed quickly. The back order part was refunded very quickly so i could get another ordered asap. I received an email for a customer survey and completed it figuring it would just be like other companies with a customer complaint, and that would be it. Promptly the next morning a TD rep. called me to discuss my shipping issue. From was anything damaged, to how do fix this so it doesnt happen again. Though i may have had a small issue, It is rare to see a company these days take the time to talk to its customers first hand to correct or perfect itself for better future service. So what i consider good personal customer service with a quick response to issues I give them 4 stars and i will order more parts in the future from them due to their customer care and prompt responses. To me that goes a long way these days

Bought a disaster kit for my 6.7 power stroke very fast shipping it came packaged nice very easy install and the truck runs great thanks again .

Order Air filter for my truck on July 13. They told me it would be in 3-5 days. Called to track my order on July 19 they tell me it would be 1-4 more weeks. All they could do was offer an apology when we have spent thousands and thousands of dollars through them. From here on out I will try to find my parts else where.

Terrible service, instead of giving a warning on their website about a product, they wait for you to send them your money. Email you and then tell you it’ll take 1-3 business days for my money to return. Didn’t take 1-3 business days for y’all crooks to take my money. Very disappointed in this company.

Placed a order a week or so ago. Spent several hundred dollars, money came out my account next day. Now after 13 days and five emails with no reply hard to say if Ill ever get my parts. 😡

I ordered fuel filters and water separators for a FASS fuel system needed them stat so I next day air through the company UPS . Order went in early morning of May 4 should have been delivered on the 5th . $25 extra for the next day service. See if I can recoup the $25.

I purchased re-manufactured injectors for my 01 duramax, installed in my truck and had diesel fuel in the oil, had to pay a mechanic to find the issue...he took everything apart and visually checked everything didnt see anything, leaked again under high pressure. Took apart for the 3rd time and had them tested, one was bad. They did replace and things are working now...but no compensation for paying a mechanic 2 times labor! Also I will say they should have tested them under low and high pressure before selling to customers. Each time we had new valve cover gaskets and oil changes, not to mention wear on internals from fuel in oil...just my two cents.

I recently purchased an LML hot side charge pipe from HSP. The pipe did not fit on either the new (drop-in), or stock turbo inlet, but the stock piping did so clearly it was an issue with the new pipe. I understand these companies are not Amazon but when you sell a faulty product I expect a refund. Thoroughbred’s response? Sure, after you fill out the RMA form you can also eat the cost of shipping, and a 15% restocking fee because WE sold you a bad pipe. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never shop at this garbage site again.

Their website sell you the illusion of a great product and warranty to support it. Sadly in reality the Turbo Diesel I bought failed and when I sent it in to be covered I was quickly informed by them that the 3rd party authorized shop for Garret wouldnt honor Thoroughbreds warranty. I was sent 2 photos and neither looked like the wheel on the photos and videos i have from when we removed it. We were informed we couldnt talk to anyone at the shop or even the actual company that holds the warranty since Thoroughbreed doesnt hold the warranty it turns out to honor when the product breaks. On top of that I called in and asked to talk to the president or CEO when my contact told I could call in and talk to his boss and instead I was given someone totally different than who is listed as the CEO on Linken-in like I wouldnt realize when he didnt really want to answer any of our questions or was even engaged in discussing our warranty. Sadly I thought this would be a great product with a company that stood behind its product and that hasnt happened yet.

I purchased a Tuner pack from these guys and was told it would support non-emission tuning as well from GDP. It was a bold faced lie and they were unwilling to correct the issue by refunding me money for the support pack because the Tuner was linked to my truck. These guys do not support their products and fix their mistakes. I do not recommend doing business with them.

Horrible. They don’t know what they are doing. Go somewhere else. As a matter of fact their products are from other diesel part sites. The DO NOT PRODUCE THEIR OWN PARTS AT ALL. They sell other company’s diesel products at a higher price. Do your homework and stay away from them. Buyers beware!!!!!!

We ordered a fuel system rebuild kit from Thoroughbred Diesel this past week for a repair in my shop in Monroe, Ohio. The person I spoke with on the phone was personable and helpful. The product was shipped that day and arrived at my shop in Ohio the next day via UPS. The price was was much better than the alternatives and the kit includes everything we need to finish the job.I recommend Thoroughbred Diesel as a good source for quality parts at a reasonable price.

These guys were super helpful I got my parts on time and have no real complaints I dropped 1 star because the poor guy helping me was lost and doing his best bit at the end I felt like he was reading the sales add from a distributor rather than talking from experience at least he was trying and I personally will do business with them again

Horrible customer service. One representative will tell you one thing another will tell you something else and then you hear something else from the third representative. So the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I would stay away from order from somewhere else unless you want your money taken and lied to about a refund

Ordered a Cold air intake, 4 days later they sent an email stating they didnt have the part and didnt know when they could have it in stock. Due to the fact that email went to my spam folder i contacted them 3 days later (for a total of 7) on their websites chat feature. This was when i found out that they sold me a part they did not have and did not know when they could actually get in stock. I asked for a refund and was told that it would take 1-2 days to process. 3 days later i received an email saying that the part had shipped when they were supposed to be refunding my money instead. i will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

I recently had a Turbo go down on a work truck. I called spoke with a salesman on 2/14, we discussed time frame and agreed with two day shipping will get all parts to me by 2/18. It is now 2/20 and the parts got shipped to Delaware 7 hours away from me. I asked to have the two day shipping removed from the items due to the fact that I cant put a turbo on with out a gasket kit. I should have never paid for two day shipping.

Scammed for $4000 on fuel injectors they would not return said they were wet they were not they just didnt want to pay back the money. Do not trust this company!

Stay far away from these people, they dont how to send correct parts out, there reseller not the owner of the part, and dont know how to refund, when they make a mistake.

I’ve dealt with them multiple times. Always nice and friendly and helpful when they can be. I was active duty in Hawaii and they got me an injector pump some how shipped to me within a day. (Which if you have ever lived in Hawaii and tried to get something shipped to you, it’s unheard of to get it in a day). Thoroughbred is the only parts source for my trucks I order from. From their website or on the phone, they are easy to deal with and I know I’ll get what I’m needing as fast as they can get it to me. It’s refreshing to get that friendly southern hospitality I was raised up with.

Shipping was fast and easy but I spent over a grand on exhaust and livewire tuner which shows 4 tunes with the package I purchased loaded on truck and only came with three tunes...... Update I dealt with Samantha after posting my review and she made everything right, by doing a little research she said there was a glitch on the mobile website that was unknown to them. The team at thourghbred made everything quick and easy with no headaches about getting me my extra tune. They definitely restored my faith them and will be doing further business with them in the future

One of the greatest places to buy anything for a diesel truck from a chip to a hitch. There have a great website and customer service as well.

First part was sent from manufacture with a defect, called sales expecting an out of country answering service. Within seconds an in house representative was on the phone eager and willing to help. I believe his name was Chris. It took less than an hour for a mistake from Garret to be corrected and my new turbo to be enroute via next day air. As a fleet owner this is the level of customer service I look for to do business with. These guys need a raise for all the extra work they put in to make it right!

Love getting told everything I need comes in a kit to find out it doesnt midway through my install. Thanks guys

Finding out mid install you dont have the required parts is always a great thing, as frustrated as I was Thoroughbred was kind and curtious and helped resolved the issue. I bought one of their ts products it was 250 they were very nice to start 2 days later it was suppose to be at my house it never showed up filled a claim with ups they said it was delivered and I needed a police report I explained my wife was home all day it never showed and told them it wasnt my responsibility to provide on considering I never took position of the package so they were still liable they cancelled the claim I called the shipper the will not reimburse me my 250 the management is terrible for a family business the tracking lady hana was very nice but altimently it was up to management to refund they basically said screw you so now Im out 250 and a chip

Terrible company! Advertised an Edge programmer would ship with free next day air. They shipped it ground. I called and spoke to customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. They could send me some stickers but that was it.FRAUD!

Bought a vp44 pump from them, got it put on the truck and truck hasnt ran since. Horrible customer service, when i first tried calling about the problem, i was on hold forever and they kept coming up with excuses why i couldnt talk to the person i was trying to talk to. Now since they sent me a bad pump, I get to pay shipping back to them out of my pocket. They wont send me another one till they test it and will probably end up charging me with a $150 test fee, amd probably just send me the same pump back. They do not back their product, sucks cause i paid over $1k for this pump and now i gotta pay more, cause they sent me a crappy rebuildt pump. Please go somewhere else to buy a vp44! If i wouldve knew about Bluechip Diesel before i bought this one i defiantly wouldve went with them instead, i actually called them and they tried helping me firgure out what was wrong with this thoroughbred diesel pump, they was actually very nice and actually seemed like they knew stuff about the pump unlike Thoroughbred. So now im probably going to have to go up there in person, which is not going to be pretty, to fix this stupid problem. Thanks Thoroughbred for the great customer service.......dont buy from here.

Thoroughbred Diesel is awesome I live in vt ordered 2 head gaskets at 5 pm and received them the next day at 9am via ups. I ordered apm bolts from sinister on the 6th which I expressed that I needed asap ups tracking said I will receive them on the 14th called thoroughbred ordered another set through them at 430 pm and received them at 9 am the next morning so if you need hour parts quick and better service I would use these guys in a heartbeat
