Everyone at the Floor Shop is friendly and helpful. They did an excellent and timely job installing a new tiled wall surrounding the fireplace and installing the hearthstone

When we decided to build our forever home, we partnered with the Floor Shop for our flooring and tile needs. As you can imagine, picking out hardwood, carpet, area rugs, tile flooring, shower tile, and backsplashes was quite a daunting task. However, working with Dee Dee and Greg at the Floor Shop couldn’t have been easier. Dee Dee provided excellent advice and was very patient with us as we went back and forth picking out materials. However, once that was done, that’s when Greg stepped in. We had a very specific vision for the tile work in the bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchen and Greg was quick to intervene and laid out the tile placement so the plumbers knew exactly where to place the shower faucets, shower heads etc. This was one of the many extra steps Greg and Dee Dee took to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Attached are some photos of the excellent work the team at the Floor Shop did at our house.We are now in the process of finishing our basement and of course we turned to the Floor Shop for that project. Dee Dee and Greg once again gave us excellent advice and we look forward to seeing the result of that project.For me it is important to recognize those who go above and beyond and the team at the Floor Shop does that on a regular basis. If you have a small or large project, I highly recommend you head to the Floor Shop and let them know what you are looking for. I have used The Floor Shop many times, however on two recent bathroom floor tile installations they have failed to tack down the carpet at the doorways and have failed to properly reset the toilets. I believe that the use of third party contractors may be to blame for the toilet issues, but if you are going to tile bathrooms resetting the toilet is to be expected and handled professionally.

We are very pleased with the new flooring in our church Sanctuary. I would recommend this company. As a matter of fact, when I am ready to redo the floors in my home, I will contact The Floor Shop. Skip, Jeremy and Randy work so well together, like a fine oiled machine. Very professional and polite. This was a BIG job and they completed it in one week! Quality workmanship. Thank you!

Stopped in The Floor Shop yesterday when we were in Winchester and saw that they had moved from downtown. We were very happy in 2013 when we made a large purchase there and since we have moved to Martinsburg we need to buy carpet. We were greeted by a lady who was on the phone. She said she would be with us soon. After 20 minutes she was still on the and in that time we were able to that it was a personal call. We left. I was in retail for many years and this kind of rude behavior is in my opinion not acceptable.

We have worked with Dee Dee and Greg on several jobs and have the best service anyone could ask for. They are knowledgeable and provided us with excellent advice on the type of floors we needed. We are extremely pleased with the Floor Shop of Winchester.

I was on the committee with two other ladies to choose carpet for our sanctuary. We searched many many hours looking for the perfect carpet taking samples to the church to view. Finally with the help of Dee we got the perfect carpet. She even ordered us a larger sample so we could really see it on the floor. The workmanship we received was very professional as this was a very large job. Had to remove all the pews and put them back. We have curved steps and they were done perfectly. I cannot say enough nice things about this company and the patience that Dee has is remarkable. Believe me we tried her nerves. When I need carpet in my home this company will get my business.

Took 3 weeks longer than originally told to install in stock carpet. Doesnt in stock mean in stock???? Did not communicate that they ran out of the carpet. They were told this was for a house sale and still were late on the install. When asked what was taking so long, the Office Manager had an attitude which was extremely inappropriate given the situation. They were to also seam a small patch from existing carpet in the home but the demo team threw away that carpet (again, bad or no communication). The installers looked around the basement, found a remnant and seamed it to a different carpet...WTF? Why? The installer was trying to be nice but seriously (see pic below). The mistake was fixed by installing all new carpet in that room, a week later, which again postponed the listing of the house. The installation was shotty in spots and the walls were scratched when the carpet was installed. No discount given for either. They need to be brutally honest about what can be done. Dont tell people what they want to hear as that is just bad business. Bottom line, if I knew it would have taken a month then I would have went elsewhere.

They replaced my bathroom floor and it looks great. The installer was on time and courteous.Thank you.

Completely ignored by all three people presumably working there. After 15 minutes of looking and waiting to be acknowledged (as the only obvious customers in the place), left the store.

Never again! We have a 2.5 year old tile floor installed.by The Floor Shop that is cracked and stained as they failed to seal the grout or tell.us to do it. We called and they did not return returnthe call
