We found yellow delicious apples, nice size, 3lb bag for $2.99, also 3lb of clover honey for $9.99. We can always find good deals here! We also had lunch, free hot dog and purchased soft drink for a volunteer donation to a church youth group. We had a lunch tailgate party in the parking lot.

Literally RK is my and my wifes favorite store. We only became aware of them a few months back and now go to the two close to where we live at least weekly just to browse and they have the items Im looking for. The stores are easy to get in and out of and the staff including the store manager are always helpful and friendly, like family even. Since weve found RK, we buy there first and are glad to support their business model.

There stock is low, all the time. The prices are great if they have stuff in stock.

This store is amazing! They carry items you will not see elsewhere. I could have spent hours in here looking at everything but we are on a roadtrip just passing through. The staff is kind and helpful!

First the lack of merchandise available was extremely below acceptable. 2and gett assistance was almost impossible. I was told sorry cant help, Im by myself. Asked if a manager was available to show me a $1000. Dollar gun safe. Responded. Yeah. Asst. Manager showed up and stated I dont know anything about this, dont ask me, not my area. Due to the rudeness and lack of interest, I decided it might be best to take my business elsewhere.

Wanted to purchase a gun safe and couldnt get help from anyone!! Asked 3 different employees and still never got assistance so we walked out.

A typical Rural King. Some department were over whelmed with customers while others stood around and talked. Anytime theres only one person ever working the gun room, is mismanagement. Come on, you can do better.

I bought rabbits and they died rather quickly. I found out similar things have happened to friends and family who has bought live animals from there. That sucks however I do buy my pet supplies and food from there. Affordable prices atleast

This was my first time in the store. Found awesome pair of work gloves and cute t-shirt the purse was from another local Winchester store the Craft Nook.

Normally I would have given the store a five-star rating. But my experience there yesterday was more along the lines of a one-star.They were very busy. All the registers were open with lines several people deep.I went through the line at the service desk. And they had what appeared to be a new hire working the service desk. She appeared to have no idea on what she was doing. nor did she have the permissions to do certain transactions on the register.And when she asked the female manager who was standing behind her for help, the manager seemed preoccupied and would only partially help and then would run off to the register that is behind the service desk.To be honest I think the manager was more interested in trying to get in the male cashiers pants than actually doing her job. Because she definitely did not want to leave his side. And she was doing nothing but standing there. All the while the young lady working the service desk was in desperate need of help.I have worked in retail management. And if that manager had worked for me I would have fired her on the spot.All said and done I stood in line for more than 30 minutes to purchase three bags of taffy and a bag of popcorn. Totally unacceptable.However this is still my favorite Rural King; And Im not going to write them off over one bad experience. If it happens again maybe. But not now.

At least 1/2 customers I saw did not have masks. Their inventory of outdoor supplies was not updated in computer. The clerk could not see if a product was available or not.Some of what we wanted was not so we had to go back in to get refund.The individuals helping us outside were very polite and helpful. Wish I knew their names

Good sales on certain things I use regularly, but was disappointed not having customers wear mask. Employees had them on, and up.....Several customers didnt, including 3 men in check out lane when we walked in. I understand having off outside, but not when so close to one another, inside.Purchased 1 thing, and left. Didnt stay to shop. You never know what the other person is going through, if immune system compromised. Just a sad situation for older ones, or anyone battling an illnesses during this time.

They had everything we were looking for, clothing, glue, drain opener, rose bushes in a variety of colors, yard decor, fencing. They are reasonably priced too. Worth the drive from Madison Co to Winchester.

Prices were great, employees were hard to find. The place is huge (a point in its favor). I had 1 man explain to me why I shouldnt get chick because they grow up into chickens (were getting them as layers, not as pets) and another who cornered me for 15 minutes or so and talked to me about his vasectomy and whats wrong with kids these days. Neither was wearing a mask.

This place is awesome! Have so many departments to check out. Team member were very helpful with loading a truck tool box and answering questions about a generator. Cant wait to go back!

I usually go with my husband and browse while he is shopping. The clothes and shoes are messy and I dont like sorting through to find a size or color. They do have a good selection of outdoor and home decorative items.

Shelfs are empty looks like a roit went thru the store

I got 3 rabbits and they all died in less than 3 days from a bacterial disease and they treat their animals horribly, the rabbits dont have bedding or food, are kept in small mesh cages and are very underweight. We asked for a refund but they gave us a gift card that only covered the cost of one rabbit I will not be shopping there again due to the lack or responsibility and animal cruelty.

Very helpful people helped load the car when I purchased several items. The store seems like other rural kings, warehouse concrete floor reasonably laid out. I would come here again. I prefer it over tractor supply and southern states.

Typically I love Rural Kings, and when I asked someone for help here to find something, they were super helpful and nice. Im only saying 3 stars today because when I went here (May), I felt like there was zero enforcement of covid-19 safety precautions. Hardly any masks, 6 distancing, or sanitizer to be seen... Which made me want to stay for as little as possible.

I could live in this place. 100X better then Walmart or any other place like that.

Awesome place found everything.

I came into the store with my niece to pick up trash bags and we decided to go see the chickens before we grabbed our merchandise to check out. We noticed one of the chickens had an injured wing and was lying on its side. The chicken appeared to be suffering. We notified the workers in the front at the registers that there was an injured chick. About 20 minutes passed before a worker came to the chicken section of the store. The associate assisted another customer with a sale before seeing to the injured chick. She then grabbed the chick with her gloves hand and put the chick into her non-gloved hand before putting the chick into a box and walking away without acknowledging that we were standing there. The associate walked through the store with the chick in a box and she lightly swung it while walking. Before we left, we heard the same associate summoned over the intercom. It was upsetting that the animal was suffering and it seemed that no one else cared.

I wish there was one of these stores closer to home

As a fella from the western part of the country Ive got to say Ive seen it all now what a fabulous place :-) I dont shop much but if Im going to shop its going to be at rural king. Friendly nice staff and what a selection.
