If I could give the 0 stars I would. The people behind the desk are so rude they kicked me out because I didnt have a mask and they wouldnt provide one so I did not get my appointment I had waited over 2 months for.I do not recommend this place to anyone they are rude and unpleasant to deal with.
Waited an hour in the exam room for the doctor to show up and when I confronted her she was “taken back” like how dare you. Surgery part was fine had wonderful nurses who did everything they could to keep me calm. Then back to the schedule part very RUDE receptionist! I canceled my appointment via robo schedule which obviously they don’t pay attention to then it called me to say I missed my appointment when called to speak with someone that receptionist treated me like I was an idiot.
I waited six weeks for an appointment, rearranged my entire week so I could attend, and was left standing in front of the building calling a phone number over and over and over that was on a sign taped to the locked door. A technician will be right with you, the sign said. No one answered any of my calls. Looked in the window--no people, lights off. Thanks, you bunch of jerks. Never again, and youll never get one single good word from me to anyone looking for eye care.
If you dont mind reciting medical problems to a receptionist, or being told well get to you when we get to you - this is the doctor for you.
AS someone else pointed out, this place is just here to do surgeries. If you walk in you will leave with an appt for cataract surgery. I was told I had a size 6 cataract so I made an appt for a second opinion. I was told by another doctor that I had size 3. Thats quite a discrepancy. Go somewhere else!
Amazing service, from setting my appointment with front desk admin, to the appointment with Dr Lein, to working with Graham for my glasses. They had great patience with me, took my insurance and prices were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this practice to friends, family, and co-workers! Thank you. In all the years of wearing glasses I have never had the trifecta of care I had here.
This for my visit as a whole. I was treated rudely by a female staff member (I didnt catch her name) who said my temperature was 102°. She then told me that they dont accept Medicaid for eye exams, when I was told on the phone that you do, for eye issues. I told her I was there for an eye problem, not an exam, so she took my insurance card and gave me paperwork to fill out, took my temp again and said Id have to reschedule. I asked what I should do about my eye problem and she rudely said I should go to my doctor (if I were at this office, I think I would have already been to my doctor). She took my temp again, said it was too high and told me to just go to my doctor, with no mention of rescheduling my appointment. I am very upset about this, and while I understand COVID-19 is going on, I think theyre being ridiculous and I will not be returning to this location-ever.

The staff there has been great with my grandson and has made him feel so special. The lady that helps him pick out his glasses is very polite and has been super sweet every time I have called in. Love hearing updates from my grandson after every visit. He is always in such good spirits after leaving their office. I highly recommend them for all ages!
Super friendly and definitely kid friendly. There was a young lady named Graham, that helped my daughter who is 8 and was scared. Graham stayed with her the whole time. Then helped her pick out glasses. Graham has helped my entire family with our glasses. I can not say enough good about the staff and the operations
I would have never gone to this location based on these reviews, but my doctor started working there so I went. I have been very pleased every time in the past 2 years!! I had an emergency with my youngest daughter while shopping in Winchester and they were very accommodating. Sure I had to wait but definitely better than the ER. I have had so many glasses not fit properly in the past, but Graham is amazing. She takes that extra time to fit the glasses properly and make the correct measurements. I actually wear my glasses.
The doctors were very knowledgeable and the staff was so friendly. My 5 year old had to get very strong glasses and patch his eye (which I thought was going to be the biggest fight of my life) and the staff there was amazing. They cheered him on and made him feel so confident about it. He no longer has to patch now and his eyes are SO much better after less than a year. I would highly recommend Eye Associates of Winchester and wont be going anywhere else because of how well they treated our family and more specifically, my son. He looks forward to every single visit and gets so excited about picking out and trying on new glasses!
They were very friendly and helpful. I received quick service and I highly recommend getting your glasses here. Graham was thorough and professional, not only on this visit but every time I have been there.
Stuck in the waiting room for hour and a half.
I saw Dr. Snyder a couple of times. Each time, she was an hour and half to two hours late. She is only in town a limited number of days, so she over schedules. After waiting so long, the only advice she could give was its nothing, here are some steroids to feel better but dont wear contacts. Your time and money are more valuable elsewhere.
Best optometrist experience I have ever had!!!!!! All the staff was wonderful from the front staff, the techs, the doctor and the optician!! I will absolutely recommend them to everyone I know! I cannot wait to pick up my new glasses
I have had no problem for wait times with the doctor I use. Dr. McLaughlin is not only punctual, but provides the best prescriptive Care I have ever experienced.
I went in for an exam and had an amazing experience, receptionist was fantastic she was able to answer all of my questions, the technicians there are absolutely amazing and they really know what they are doing, very smart young ladies :) also the dr took her time with me she explained everything very well And i didn’t have a very long wait time in between. The checkout woman was very helpful as she made my future apt and then I was also able to get my glasses from their optical center. I have never loved a pair of glasses so much, graham is one of the best opticians I have ever experienced. I would absolutely go back and would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking.
HORRIBLE place. I would not recommend this place to anyone . All they see is dollar signs. They tell you that your insurance will cover your visit and then dont summit it right and wants you to pay right then.
Worse receptionist ever. I have no issues with the doctors, they are good and professional. Receptionist not so professional. Also, to add, I got charged a 50 $ NO SHOW because apparently they did not cancel an appointment I asked them to cancel. I called about it and they dont care. They even hung up on me first, then they said a manager would call me back, which of course, never did. This receptionist needs a training on customer care ASAP.
Very poor customer service. I waited an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment before I had to leave and was not seen. As I was waiting other people were also complaining about their wait times. The receptionists did not seem as though they knew what was going on in their own office. For a medical facility this was my most unprofessional experiences I have ever had. I recommend going to another doctors office.
Received an expensive unnecessary surgery performed. The dr didnt know what she was doing and now I have to go to another specialist an hour away. The dr was late and very quick with no time to answer questions. I felt more like a dollar sign then a patient. Will never go back.
Poor procedure scheduling for a medical practice. Lack of communication with patients. Strongly discourage anyone who is expecting professional and timely service from going to this practice.
I have had only great experiences with Dr. Mclaughlin, in addition to the easy prescriptions she’s given: she’s the only optometrist who has diagnosed my early macular degeneration .
Lady at the front desk is the worst receptionist that Ive ever been helped by. Shes very rude and completely unprofessional. I have no qualms with the doctors, or any of the other staff, but until they find another receptionist, Ill be going somewhere else.
Long wait times. Difficulty getting in touch with when office is closed. Returned to office 6-8 times after cataract surgery. This practice is stretched too thin. Did finally get referral to see a retinal specialist. Husband will not use this practice for his cataract proceduto.

Front desk receptionist is very ignorant and rude. She shouldnt be working in customer service. I had to cancel a appointment due to emergency and because it wasnt 24 hour notice I was also going to be charged $50 for cancelling to late. I was following my Dr. Lein To his new practice but I will have to find a new Dr all together.
Expect no respect for *your* time or money. An hour+ wait for my elderly mother.
