Bought a small tractor from them used, blind. Long story short, was casually shopping and they made me an offer I could not refuse. Deal was solid, but tractor had some issues, but they stood behind their product and all has been well. Treat me very well when I drop by. Dealt with Dale in sales, and another real good fella in service, but cant recall his name. Would deal with again for sure.

I love the John Deere equipment. However, this company does NOT have their act together. If you want John Deere equipment and need service and support after your purchase then my advice would be to look elsewhere. Ive bought parts, additional equipment, and now have had service work. At every post sale encounter the employees of this location (Winchester) have been polite, courteous, but unfortunately totally incompetent. Todays phone call with their service/parts person has been my typical experience with this company. They quoted my service work about 7 days ago and although the price was steep ( that is the reality of John Deere parts ) I agreed to it and I thought things were moving forward. However, today I received a call telling me that they quoted the wrong fuel pump part and didnt know it until they were trying to install the one they ordered. The new total was going to be roughly $600 dollars more because they didnt realize they ordered an older part instead of the newer one for my Gator. This isnt the only bad experience Ive had with these guys but it will be my last. If you need service work, need to order additional equipment, or even help ordering correct parts Id suggest you find a different company to conduct business or certainly a different location.Amendment: 01/31/2019 - James from service department called to offer doing this work under warranty. A good gesture and it will save a ton of money. I generally weigh my interactions with companies on 3 points, price, service level, and quality. Price unfortunately is never good with John Deere parts. Service was bumped pushed back from poor to fair/good by James. Ill update this again once I have the Gator back.

Good selection of farm equipment and safety gear. Prices comparable. One needs to go inside to find sales assistance. Would like to add 1/2 star for cleanliness.

The food there Ive found over the years has always been consistent and a great value, I ask my self why anyone would go to McDonalds for breakfast and spend the same if not more for a lower quality product? If you stop in be sure to get your hashbrowns smothered, covered, and toped!!

Their 4.3 star review is because of the previous company, Carlyle and Anderson shop where I purchased my tractor back in 2012! Dishonest and rude service department tried so hard to charge me $700 for a simple $50 job elsewhere! It’s a shame!!!

These guys were fine until right after the sale . I wont say any names but my sales guy just does not get back with you ! I have been trying to contact him by texting to check up on a couple things and have not heard back from him at all, which he has done to me several times, I have also been waiting for months for another item thats been on order, this may not be their fault but i want informed of whats going on, the customer service once you have purchased is horrible!!!!! I will say the people in parts are awesome ! I will never deal with them again due to my sales guy ever again !!!!!! If my John Deere ever needs work done to it i will take it to another dealer .........And so much for the snow blower on order i will just do without it !!!!

How can I give less than one star. I have been lied to by the service manager Brandon, Just because He is no longer there Russel the GM seems to think New Va Tractor is not responsible for his actions. Russel you are responsible as the GM for employees working for you, weather they are gone or not. New Va Tractor will not assume any responsibility for their actions. Im glad the I am 1/2 way between them and Gladhill Tractor in Frederick because I will never deal with or recommend Va Tractor again. By the way I now have a baler in pieces after $8,000 paid to Va Tractor.
