Giant supermarket. Well stocked shelves. Great deals and like the rewards. Whatever I cant find at Trader Joes, I swing by here!

They have horrible customer service, the sandwich place never ever is making sandwiches nor do they ever have the pre made ones in stock. And to top it all off the Starbucks doesn’t know how to make coffee ! I asked for a caramel macchiato and they pounded it with milk. Another time I asked for a banana bread and they couldn’t warm it up so I took it cold 😫 I’ve given this location a lot of chances and they just don’t seem to step their game up. Very disappointed as it’s always a waste of time when I try to make a quick stop so my kids can get lunch when we’re running late !

Meat department very helpful and made shopping easier.

Safeway my apologies for the bad review I made a mistake thought it was Sebastopol Safeway. I did stop by your deli and even though she was training she was teaching the correct way to use the slicer. Having worked in many delis I liked how through she was while making sure my order was filled. Again I took down the wrong one and apologies for the wrong one!! Thank you for caring my Safeway has never responded!!

Great staff. Runs out of stuff is the only issue. Gone in there twice for frozen breakfast sandwiches, out both times.

I live in Healdsburg and have been shopping at the Healdsburg Safeway for many years. Sadly in recent years, that Safeway has gone downhill dramatically, in every way. They seem to have horrible management these days. Many expired items on shelves and in dairy and freezers. Poorly trained staff. Their deli is dirty and not well managed. They seldom have the sale items listed, etc etc etc.But the Safeway in Windsor is WAY better! Its such a nicer experience shopping at the Windsor Safeway! The store is always well stocked, clean, neat, good signage on sale items, etc. They have many more products available and just makes for a much better place to shop. The only reason that I didnt give them 5 stars is because I was overcharged on an item on my last visit. Kind of annoying...but its still the best chain grocery store in our area.

Received my 1st Covid-19 shot in the arm at their pharmacy after setting up the appointment on line two days before. Nice, no wait, no line. Picked up groceries afterwards.

This is a good store, but to be able to hit on several levels, if feels like I am bothering these guys when I ask them a question. I dont think everyone enjoys being a employee here.

Windsor Safeway is probably one of the worst grocery stores in terms of customer service. I’m not sure if this is because of the pandemic and the fact they hire mostly teenagers. If it’s not the self checkout where half the terminals are out of order and when you ask for help you have a young employee playing with his hair while on his cellphone . Younger employees on their phones getting carts . Totally mismanaged.

Its so-so. Sale refrigerated items and low sodium soup shelves virtually empty. Not much in the way of Managers Specials in various departments, as in other Safeways. GTs Cayennade kombucha that I really wanted wasnt there. The carts and store were clean, though.

I was very unsatisfied with this location. The deli is highly unorganized and were out of simple things like lettuce and brown mustard. Which you sell at the store. The person at the deli counter had no idea they even offered tuna salad as an option, and sloppily threw my sandwich together and mauled the bread when she cut it in half. These are not hard tasks to accomplish. Maybe im biased as Ive had a deli background, but still. Very sad.

I always shop at Safeways because I know they have the brand of dog food that my dog loves. They also have Ben n Jerrys Vanilla Caramel Fudge ive cream, absolutely no other store carrys it ( I dont know why)

Shopping here is a little bit hard at times especially when the vendors have to do their stocking up on the shelves...vendors are always nice just a little bit hard maneuvering around them ...cashiers could be more friendly and courteous...basically I think they could make the customer service better...I noticed if youre a regular customer you are definitely treated better...all Im saying is that we are all customers so just something to think about

I drive quite the distance to shop here. I know it’s just a Safeway, but there is something to be said about a clean, organized, well staffed (not having to wait 30 minutes to check out), well stocked, and friendly grocery store. I would give them five stars but every time I go to the deli counter for sliced meat and cheese there is never anyone with the desire to help you, not that anyone isn’t there, just no one wants to help or they don’t know where the person that should help you is. (Tried three separate times) now that one bit of constructive criticism is out of the way, other than that this is a great place to get the necessities. The checkout is quick and friendly and they still know how to bag groceries. 😁

Covid clean, they have a lot of cashiers fast paying.

I still hot back and forth between Safeway and Raleys for the everyday items. Olivers is by far the Superior grocery store in the area with the best beer selection, the best cheese selection and all kinds of meats. I highly recommend Olivers but for everyday items its a little expensive.

I love Safeway

The checkers are great if you can find them. This Safeway has a policy that it will open a new register when there are at least 150 people in line. The lighting in the produce section sucks. You have to carry product to another area to actually see what color is.

Kathy is the real mvp! Saved me from having to run around town this morning on a birthday mission. Clean Safeway too. Angela at Starbucks is great!

We only shop here because of its location. Always understaffed at the front. The staff is friendly and helpful though.

Safeway is a well known grocery chain and offers $5 specials on Fridays. Usually well stocked and clean.

Five stars for the pharmacy! Even though theyre always super busy they were prompt and friendly. Pharmacist was great and took the time to talk with me about my vaccine. I will definitely be coming back here for my prescriptionsAs for the store, I prefer this one over the Healdsburg one. Not as crowded theres a lot more room for the groceries and the people are friendlier! As with all Safeways, they just need more Checkers the lines are way too long and the wait time is rough.

Checker was very nice.Nearly all of the sale items, all in meat dept were empty. Stock boys had isles impassable. Meat counter not set up, fresh donut rack empty.Every weekend morning the same back again every weekend, checker awesome, couple of stockers awesome. Meat counter never staffed early and produce is really bad

My favorite location

Often times I find expired food as Im trying to purchase it which is quite an issue because sometimes I dont notice and I come home with it and then I have expired food that I cannot use. I have had to go back on more than one occasion and have this remedied and for that reason I give lower Stars. Once this is rectified they deserve at least three or four

EXCELLENT DELILove spicy foods, they had Habanero Ham!! Oh i was super satisfied, great selection everywhere else too. They are a big enough store to handle the inventory.

Dont have much to say except, lower your prices and stop selling expired food on your Monday 5 dollar days. But on a positive note I have to give them Stars 4 being open till 1 a.m. Now that I got thoughtful...why dose their annoying computers make so much noice? Upgrade time. Safeway in Sebastopol has quite scanners...take a tip from your Walmart too lol there self check out...hmmm

So annoyed. I always shop at Safeway. Today for some reason the cashier just rubbed me the wrong way. As Ive shopped there and buy water a lot I always just tell the cashier its on the bottom of my cart. I always help bag my groceries. Today she rings my groceries up and I start bagging. Then walks around with my milk to put it in my cart. Asks did I get the ice tea? Ya first thing you rang up...or you can look at the receipt. It was the way she asked. Then I bought a $25 gift card. I have bought many from Safeway. I go to pay my bill with my credit card and she asked for my id because Im buying a gift card. This made no sense to me because why do you need my id for that. She said many years ago people stole someones credit card and bought a whole bunch of gift cards so she likes to make sure who is buying the gift card is the owner of the credit card. It still makes zero sense to me. After I already put my credit card in she snapped saying I need your id. I told her hold on a second so I can sign. She said it wont work until I see your id. She was rude. I feel she implemented her own rules. I think its ludicrous. If she wanted to check my id because I was using a credit card no worries. But because a gift card that is ridiculous. I will never go in her line. She was rude and tried to make it seem like I was stupid because it makes no sense to me. Perhaps you can let your checkers no to hold back on making up their own rules.

A great store just got even better! A good example would be the Late July snack crackers. Safeway has them selling for a lower price than other stores. And that is just one example. Thanks!

I really wish I could give this store at least 4 stars. I have lived in the area most of my life and have shopped here for a very long time. All employees have had great costumer service, store usually has everything I need. So, overall good place to shop.Today 11/23/19 at about 12:45 PM I went in to pick up a bouquet of flowers and some ballons. In the floral department there were two girls working one was a fairly young girl maybe still in high school and one maybe late twenty early thirties. Well the one who helped me was the older one. After giving me my items she asked if I would like to purchase them there I said no I have other shopping to do and carried on. I didnt end up buying anything else and checked out at self check out.Immediately I notice this same employee following me and staring me down as she started fiddling with some random things pretending to be doing something with them. She was clearly watching me to see if I was going to steal these items. I was so upset to be treated like a theif, or a person who hasnt been a loyal costumer for well over 13years. I purchased my items with her and another employee eye locked on me, walked out the store, placed items in my vehicle, then went back in asked her for her supervisors name and waited at costumer service for Mark.I was so upset I started crying as I expressed myself to him, he asked me if there was anything he could do to make the situation right I told him no I just needed to let him know how I was just treated he said sorry, he did ask for the employees name but I was so upset I didnt ask her, just gave him a description of her.The take away from this please train your people better. I get people steal, but for those of us who dont sure shouldnt be treated the same.I also understand not everyone has been taught common sense and mannerism, but young lady it can be learned. Do better!!

Prices here arent the best, but with the club card its worth it. Also great because it is 24 hours. No other super market in Windsor is 24 hours that I know of.

Best Safeway in Sonoma county. Employees always recognize you and say hello. Store is clean and they usually have fast check out service.

The employees are very helpful. The store is well kept. Rarely do I have to wait in a long line.

Apparently you need to know the employee to get a proper greeting. Nothing was said to me but I said hello anyways, when I was done the person behind me got a big smile and a loud welcome. This actually happens to me every time, and the value isnt that great at Safeway anyways. Guess Ill go check out Raleys.
