Eanes has installed both of our new units. Most recently our upstairs unit was replaced back at the end of July. Recently with the temperature dropping we switched over to the heat for the first time since it was installed to find out it doesn’t work. When I called to get this looked at, I was told there are no appointments until the 14th (today is the 2nd). I was hopeful that making sure the unit they installed was functioning properly would be more of a priority than it is being treated.Will say the repairmen are always professional while in the home.

Eanes got me to pay $180 for an Elite Service Contract, which promised that they would call me twice per year to provide a seasonal check-up and that I could get service when needed on 24 hour notice. They did not keep either promise. They never called in the spring and when I finally contacted them it took two weeks to get an appointment. I then waited for four hours on two separate occasions - both no-shows. A formerly reliable local business has been bought up by a company in Delaware and it is no longer possible to speak to anyone here. A team of phone answerers in Delaware completely prevent it. I hand-delivered a letter to the office of John Eanes asking for an opportunity to talk with him about what has happened to his company, but he could not be bothered to respond. They still sent me a bill for renewal of the service contract. I threw it out.

Tech was on time, nice enough, and fixed the issue. Prices here are absolutely outrageous and of course you dont find that out until the end. Charged over $1,000 for 9 lbs of 410A refrigerant?!?! That stuff is sold at wholesale for under $100 for 25 lbs. I completely understand that this is a business and operates for a profit, but that end customer pricing is completely ridiculous.Going to another HVAC company who is far more reasonable with pricing...

Installed AC on Monday:1. Unit was not cooling right after install, installation tech said it would cool overnight.2. It didnt cool overnight, we called Tuesday afternoon, very professional tech shows up Tuesday night. Diagnosis: AC was hard wired to phase 1 only. Panel for phase 2 was not working. He rewired things and ordered dead on arrival part.3. Part installed Thursday, also by also a very professional tech. He also noticed that paperwork had been left under the AC unit by the installer, paperwork needed for when inspector comes.4. AC began to work properly, but now, weird oscillating sound coming from the AC unit into the house. Very loud when outside, not normal.By this point, this has been the worst contractor experienced Ive had. Not only did I pay for a brand new unit that by this point feels like a refurb unit, but the installation was done bad all around.Also, no calls what so ever from a manager to apologize, only from someone who said an installation manager was going to call me, after I explained to her (second time to Eanes) of the bad job done.Originally, I had quoted Blaze Air also, which quoted me at a higher price, but I wish I had gone with them. I went with Eanes because they had the most thorough presentation and perceived professional, but my mistake.If anyone from Eanes is reading this, please understand I waited a few days to write this because I tried to give the company the benefit of the doubt, expecting that it would get fixed and that there would be some sort of shoot, we completely messed this up from both an installation and equipment standpoint, lets make it right. I didnt pick the cheapest option on the market, but it feels like I did.About to place in another call to have the AC looked at for the funky sound.

At first I had issues with scheduling but on the 3rd try and having technician, Eric, to come to my house made up for the miscommunication of my appointments being scheduled on a holiday, July 5, and then on the 13th of July when I plainly told the scheduler that Fridays worked best after 3 pm. Scheduler said a reminder phone call a day or so before was made and also a note on my door was left when they arrived on the 13th and I wasnt there. I repeated myself to make sure the scheduled date for Friday, July 23rd was understood to the point that the scheduler ended up hanging up on me. Very unprofessional and you may want to take a look at the person who schedules the appointments for Winston Salem area and try to get this under control and better communication and better professionalism because they do represent Eanes!

This is the 2nd time we have used Eanes. We needed some maintenance earlier in the Spring and then had our air go out on our main level over a weekend. We called on a Monday, they immediately had someone out the next day. Billy was professional and clearly knowledgable of what he does. I specifically like that they notify you by text, with a picture of your technician. Wonderful company!

Heat pump suddenly stopped after electric power came back on during freezing rain event. Billie listened to my description of what was going on when the system quit. He explained what he was doing, and quickly traced the problem. He repaired it, restarted the heat pump, and waited to make sure it was operating properly.Friendly and efficient, the heat was flowing in under an hour.This was my first time using Eanes. I was very satisfied. I signed up for the service plan, and will ask for Billie W. to come for routine and repair servicing.EXCELLENT!!!

I talked with Darlene, a customer representative, and she was able to give me a reasonable estimate over the phone. I agreed to the installation of an air scrubber and she then called Billie, the technician who would do the installation.I would give Billie 10 stars if I could. I explained my situation (severe asthma with a mean flare up happening). He was able to come out within an hour and have an air scrubber installed quickly and efficiently.I am very, very happy with Eanes, Darlene, and Billie!

Billie is wonderful. So kind and despite being 7pm when he arrived, he never acted rushed or annoyed by having such a long day. He took time to explain to me what was wrong since I’m new to home ownership and oil furnaces. He really educated me on how to care for it even in the future. He was very kind and professional. But he really went the extra step above and beyond. I broke my leg yesterday and was hobbling around and he was so helpful. He told me I didn’t have to get up as it’s obvious I was in so much pain. He brought the invoice to me on my couch, brought broken parts to me on the couch to show me and explain what he needed to do. He set my thermostat at a warm temp for me when it was fixed and helped unplug all the space heaters I had going before he left just to be kind. After an awful day, that act of kindness and mercy was really a comfort. I will literally never call anyone but Eanes/Billie as long as I have this furnace and house and live here. What amazing, generous customer care. Loyal customer for life.

Cory with Eanes was great. He figured out what was wrong with our gas logs and repaired them very quickly. I was extremely impressed with Eanes response time and availability. Cory was able to come out to service my home on the same day of the call - Amazing. In total I paid $95 for the service and was very satisfied. I would recommend this business and Cory to anyone for service.

Just a few weeks before switching from running the air to heat, my unit decided to have some issues. I called Eanes Monday morning and the first available appointment wasn’t until 6. At 4:25 Abraham gave me a call and said he was on his way. He arrived and was great. He had a big smile on his face and fixed my issue very fast. He then serviced my heating unit. Once he finished, Abe explained everything to me in easy to understand terms. I highly recommend Eanes! Ask for Abe!

After receiving a letter from the Eanes CEO prior to installation I would have expected to rate my installation higher than a three star (***). However, there were two issues (one major and one minor, if nothing more than irritating)After a full day of work the system was fired-up and seemingly okay. However, the system stopped working. Fortunately Johnathon T (JT). was there to install the new thermostat and instruct the WiFi features. At this point the originally installation crew had left. As it turns out the indoor coil drain system was incorrectly installed. The output from the Primary and Secondary drains were installed in error, even with the output pipes clearly marked P and S. JT troubleshoot the issue but did not have all the parts to fix. The fix had to be the complete removal of the plastic pipe and fittings. To get through the night a temporary system was put in place literally using a funnel to channel the Primary drain to deter the cut off sensor. After looking at the overall initial installation it was determined something had to change as the newly installed drain pane was tilted (not leveled) due to installation choices. Seems like short cuts were taken to get the job done rather than stepping back and looking at the whole job. JT attempted to fix that evening but at about 8:30 PM work was stopped and rescheduled for the next morning.JT returned the next morning to fix. He took the initiative to restructure the entire drain system to insure proper draining and to have a level drain pan.Independent of the installation error, there was the issue of clean-up after work was done. Other than removing the big pieces every thing was left on the floor, in the drain pan, and ducting rework was left with old straps hanging leading to the workshop wall. I ended up spending in excess of two hours cleaning up. I dont know what instructions are given to technicians and assistants in terms of work site clean up but I didnt like what I had to do after paying a noticeable amount of money for the project.As a plus the system is working and the cooling is improved.

Our service technician was absolutely amazing. Showed up in time. Worked through the rain, and found us a solution to get my kids heat until we could do the big repair. He also took the time to walk us through each option and explain what we can do to prevent it from happening again. We also liked that they will be sending him out again for the main repair.

We went to Eanes after feeling uncomfortable with an evaluation for a furnace issue from the company that had previously installed it. From the start, the customer service experience was much better. Very friendly and responsive. The technician, Billie, went above and beyond with discussing the issue even before coming out for the diagnosis. Upon arrival, it was very evident that he was much more thorough than the previous company and checked the entire system. He was able to find the true cause of the issue and explained the repair very thoroughly. I couldn’t be happier with the service and experience.

James, Corey, and their team have spent the past week at my home ripping out a 2 system setup and replacing it with a single system zoned setup. Their workmanship has been phenomenal! Theyve taken the time to explain what each part of the system does and their work has been clean and precise. Each night they have cleaned up the basement at the end of their shift, even when I said it was okay to leave it. They have gone above and beyond my expectations, and Im going to miss my little chats with James. Keep up the great work!

Our furnace was not blowing heat after power was restored after the ice storm outage. Eanes was able to send someone the same day, which was a pleasant surprise. Billie was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. Best of all, rather than try to upsell to replace a 17 year old furnace, he was honest in saying it was a minor problem and that the furnace was not yet ready for retirement. I keep going back to Eanes due to the quality of their work and their honesty.

Weve been with Eanes since we moved into our house a few years ago, and Abe has been our regular maintenance tech. He always communicates well with us, and diagnosed that our old Goodman units would die a year ahead of time, which gave us time to financially prepare for an upgrade. When they finally went, we opted to replace both our upstairs and downstairs units with a new Lennox system. The advice weve always been given was not to worry about brand, but worry about the quality of installers and their craftsmanship, and our past experience with Eanes made going with them the easy choice.From top to bottom, the whole team has been great. When Steve and the install team ran into roadblocks fitting the furnace in the attic, they opted to do it right and replace duct work rather than cutting corners. They corrected gas regulators in our crawlspace that the builder neglected to put in. They built a new platform for the furnace and coil, and left my attic cleaner than its ever been.Abe and Cory both stayed late into the night to make we got both our systems up and running without waking our 7-month old. Its only been 12 hours and were already seeing the performance improvement over our old system. Were looking forward to years of efficiency and comfort from our new Lennox system.Thanks to all involved at Eanes for making this come together. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and do it right the first time attitude makes them easy for us to recommend Eanes to anyone.

After having another company give an estimate on why our heat pump wasn’t working I decided to call Eanes for an estimate. After explaining to Eanes that we needed a new motor and giving them the price we were quoted Eanes quoted over $300 less. So I agreed to have them come. The tech confirmed the previous diagnosis but he immediately let me know he could not do it for the price I was quoted on the phone. I was disappointed to say the least but he assured me they would price match the other estimate. So I agreed and paid another service fee of $95 just to get the same diagnosis. I decided to go with Eanes anyway because they had a slightly higher customer satisfaction score. Then the day they were to do the work I was told that they could not even match the price and that it would be over $400 more than the other company’s quote! So the diagnosis never changed, but Eanes changed the price twice! Seems like a well organized scheme from start to finish! I went with Blaze Air.

We have an older Carrier heat pump. After a power surge in our area the night previous we discovered on Saturday morning that the blower had stopped working. A visit to the Carrier website identified Eanes Heating and Air Conditioning as our closest dealer. I visited the Eanes website and was able to chat online and get connected to a technician within 15 minutes. Cory called me right away and arranged a time to come to our house within the hour. Cory immediately identified the problem as a bad low voltage transformer, which he had on the truck and replaced right away. Sadly, it became clear that the bad transformer had passed a voltage spike on to the variable speed blower motor and its control circuit, which was also damaged and would need to be replaced. Cory immediately confirmed that a part was available, which he hopes to pick on Monday. With luck, well have heat back on by Monday evening. Cory was professional, pleasant, and let me know what he was doing with each step. Great service. Thanks to Cory and Eanes H&AC for their prompt attention.

Billie Christy is as thorough, detailed oriented and professional as they come. He found a problem we didnt even know we had (had been assuming it was just a quirk of a disappointing heat pump). The replacement of a part was quickly handled and installed under warranty. Im not dreading colder weather to come anymore and it is because Billie was so thorough in his maintenance inspection.

They provided the best price by several hundred dollars to replace our main AC unit. The sales person was responsive to our questions. The installers were on time and professional. A manager came by to make sure everything was going as planned. The technicians got everything running smoothly. From sales to delivery they did a great job and will now use them for regular maintenance.

This is my first house, so a lot of questions... Lots of things to worry about, including my air conditioning... I called Eanes because I saw so many good reviews.... I was not disappointed.Andrew was on time, professional, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and patient. I did absolutely no shopping around before I called Eanes, so wasnt sure what to expect... It wasnt cheap, but I believe it turned out to be less than I anticipated... My house feels better and I feel better. Gold star for Andrew!

Mr.Jacobs was courteous and professional. He got back to me promptly with several estimates and options.Compared to three other HVAC businesses, Eanes was extraordinarily high. They have impressive marketing with all the virtual points well covered via texts, emails, phone contacts. I have no doubt they would do good work,, however they are cost prohibitive for my heat pump replacement.

Billie came late on a Saturday evening, because our new Lennox heating system failed. He found the cause quickly, but was unable to repair the problem until the following Monday as a new exhaust system is required.......this is the 3rd service call on a new heat system in less than 3 weeks from install. It apparently was not installed properly with the new system. So we now have no heat on the 1st floor of our home until at a minimum Monday evening. First call, natural gas leaking at fittings. Second call, leaking exhaust causing fumes again inside the house. Third call, water condensation inside exhaust which shut down furnace. No fault of Billie, but we are not pleased. We thought we were being proactive in replacing the system before a failure of the old furnace. Now this.......

Service tech came out quickly to diagnose AC problems. Friendly and was very honest with responses to questions. I had 2 units up and 2 units down. 1 AC was only 6 years old whereas other AC and both furnaces were 34 years old. I made the decision to replace the 3 old units as he said that there wouldnt be any issues with compatibility connecting things up to the 6-year old AC . There was never any pressure to replace anything at all. We just spoke about the issue and cost to repair and he left it completely up to me as to what i wanted to do. I chose to replace the 2 furnaces as they were already going to be here (near future to replace the old AC) and the fact that the furnaces were basically at end-of-life expectancy, anyway.Someone came out to give me an estimate on the 3 units within a couple of business days. Again, very friendly and didnt try to up-sell me on higher-priced units. I made that decision on my own based on him providing me a better-understanding of the differences of SEER ratings and multiple-stage units. Appeared to be very transparent when providing me with realistic expectations in cost savings going from one model up to the next. I would only go with this unit if youre all about having the latest and greatest bells and whistles. Youll never recoup your investment on this one. But if thats what youre into, I can explain what you would be getting over the other model. GREAT information to share, letting the home-owner make the decision for themselves based on what they find important. He went out to his truck and came back in with the estimate for everything within 30-45 minutes. It was great not having to wait a couple days for an estimate. Explained the different packages and optional upgrades. Again, didnt try to pressure us on any of the upgrades.Installers showed up in about a week and were good communicators as well. Didnt scuff up anything removing and installing a heater in my attic (pull-down attic stairs). Laid down cloth from the front door up to the attic stairs. Cleaned up after themselves each day. Total installation took 3 days, which was right in line with what we were told by the person that provided the estimate.Service tech came out to check on everything and hook up final connections. It started pouring down rain and he set up a tent outside to work under so that we didnt have to go another day without AC upstairs. He was more than willing to educate me on anything that i had questions about.Completion was just a few days ago, but everything works. Never had an issue with anyone that I encountered throughout the process. Payment was done online, which was convenient.Overall a wonderful experience with everyone I encountered and things took place (in what i considered to be) quicker than expected. Based on conversations with other people: Days to get the estimate back and weeks to wait for an install because companies are backed up. Not what i experienced with Eanes. Great job!

Ac broke over the weekend in the middle of the “dog days of summer” and I called around on a Sunday evening. Eanes was responsive and had great reviews so I decided to go with them. Billie showed up shortly after and did a wonderful job. He went above and beyond and explained everything to us. Got our AC running and we are so thankful. I really appreciated Tara coming out this week and repairing our HVAC when the breaker went bad. It was a redundant breaker so she was able to rewire and get the AC going as a work around short term, while she also ordered replacement parts under warranty to properly fix it long term. Professional, personable and there to help fix what I needed, not sell me something. I’ll request her personally in the future. I also appreciate seeing a woman represented in this field. Thank you Eanes and Tara.

Had an A/C issue on a Sunday afternoon. Called Eanes and technician came and resolved within 2.5 hours. Very helpful to have annual maintenance contract to get priority service and standard trip fee. Corey was very helpful.

Came out on a Saturday, day after Christmas, when my heat was struggling to keep up on a freezing day. Re-wired HVAC to help aux heat. In and out within an hour and very friendly and knowledgeable. Signed up to become a yearly member.

Billie did an awesome job fixing our HVAC unit. He responded to our call quickly on a Sunday evening, and was at our house within 30 minutes to fix the issue. We had multiple issues with our unit, and he was extremely knowledgeable and able to address all of them. He was super friendly and professional the entire time - I would highly recommend! The service techs were nice, but after 2 attempts to fix the system and a $500 bill from Eanes, the unit still doesnt work. Ended up going with another company.2 stars because at least they were quick to respond and nice.

Robert was top notch from arrival to departure. I called on Thursday & got an appointment next day & Robert arrived earlier than scheduled time which was awesome because y’all know it was & is very Hot. I’ve already referred to a friend. Oh & Eanes installed my furnace too!

This was the first time using Eanes. I was already impressed when Darlene answered the phone at 8:15 am and told me that a tech could be at my moms home by 9am. She is super professional and polite. And both the techs were on time. Spencer was very courteous and professional as well. They got my moms house up and heated in no time...I would definitely recommend Eanes and a 5 star rating for sure..awesome staff & company!!!

Every person from Eanes that I’ve spoken with was kind, knowledgeable and professional. The tech was very nice and walked me through the entire process (I had lots of questions and he was VERY patient) and the repairs were made quick! The Eanes technicians are known for being very knowledgeable and professional. Today, Abe serviced both of our HVAC units, and did a thorough analysis of two needed repairs. He answered all of our questions thoughtfully and with clear examples. It is rare to find someone who can effectively explain highly technical issues! We will request that Abe always be our technician.

Spencer was wonderful to work with! He is extremely professional and I trusted his expertise completely. He was able to explain everything in a way that I could understand and help me to come to a solution for my AC issue that I was comfortable with. Highly recommend him, in particular.The only disappointing part of Eanes was that they did the inspection on my heating/AC units prior to my home purchase and within a year, I started having rather expensive issues with my system. I guess there isnt always a way to predict these things, but I felt that it was a waste to have the units inspected prior to the purchase of my home.

Amazing to us that the technicians went out of their way to fix the issue by making the old drip pan, originally diagnosed as defective, functional again by fixing the original poor work done by another HVAC company. The technicians had with them the replacement pan, but when they realized the old pan would still work if properly placed, they saved us money by fixing it instead of using the new pan. Honest, professional, reliable - have not regretted our decision to use Eanes....

Although we had a few hiccups with our install, overall we had a good experience. The technician that came out both days was very friendly and address the few concerns we had and made sure that all was as it should be. At all times the technicians were polite and courteous with us. I would definitely recommend and use this company again as they do believe in a job well done, and high satisfaction and will address any and all concerns.
