Replacement of the windshield appears to be done OK but apparently they cleaned the dash with some sort of scented cleaner. The whole car stinks from it. My wife and I are sensitive to scents, perfumes and such. Its nauseating.

I spoke with a woman named Jan, who I think was based in the Atlanta call center. She was AWESOME!!! She was very helpful, and knowledgeable. She made sure that the part I needed would be in the store for my scheduled appointment. I really appreciated her help!! Thank you Jan!!

The staff here were really nice. I had my windshield replaced and everything was fine until I started driving and noticed that the rear view mirror kept shaking a little. It was a bit loose and I immediately called them. Fortunately I live 5 minutes away and it was a quick fix.

Had a chip in my windshield from a rock and was directed to Safelite by my insurance company. I was beyond amazed at the great customer service by everyone there. I called the Telephone number listed and I couldnt get the automated system to let me speak to an operator or an employee or the manager. I didnt want to book a damn appointment, I had questions that the dang website cant answer! Fn sorry customer service- why even bother with a LocaL phone number if you cant get get anyone at that address! I just read the reviews and they only answer back with the cookie cutter response with no answers! Have some pride and fix the problems!

Safelite turned a small ding on my windshield into a massive headache. Instead of doing a simple repair, Tyler smashed my windshield that cost me a 250 dollar deducible. He didn’t even get to the repair and never even apologized in texts and voicemails. The tech guy came out installed our windshield. And broke a piece of the car . We had to replace it. And no one will return our emails . He said he would pay for the damages and now he wont respond to our text messages. And you cant call safelites number and speak to a person. Very disappointed in their customer service.

I stopped in to have my rearview mirror re-attached to my windshield. While standing in line 3 customers back, I noticed she was directing her present customer to go thru the door beside of her into the shop. The man had no hands only hooks attached, which was NO MATCH for turning the door knob! The employer just stood their about 8 to 10 feet away, just staring at the customer for about 4 to 5 minutes! I kept waiting for her to help him open the door and finally I decided to go around the counter to help my self, the old man finally managed to get the door open! When my turn in line came I was asked how can I help you, I explained I just needed my mirror reattached in my car. She bluntly said we dont do that! I said you do install Auto windows, Right? she said yes. I said then dont you put the mirror back on? She said yes, but only if we are installing the glass! I said I will be glad to pay a fee! She said NO. So I went right down the street to Pfaffs glass and the got me fixed up in about 10 minutes! Oh, with a lifetime warranty!!!

I had to book the appointment online because I couldnt get the repair shop directly on the phone. I entered the VIN and selected the broken glass. When I got to the shop, I was told that the van i had was an extended van and the glass they had wasnt for that van. I had to leave and am going back the next week because they had to order the glass I need. If I could have talked with someone when I booked the appointment, it would have saved me the second trip. Im sure Ill get another survey when the job is finished so Ill answer it according to the way the work is performed.

After several attempts to talk to manager again about my floor that was ruined due to faulty craftsmanship I have no choice but to post here because no will answer the phone. I had a repair done and the windshield had a slow leak. I didnt know about it until my rubber mat had rotted. After one conversation with the manager he said he would get back to me. That was weeks ago. I have since gone in person and left a message at the store. I have yet to hear anything. This was the only company I have ever used to replace my windshield. If this is how I am to be treated after years of loyalty since then I can spend my money elsewhere. You clearly do stand by your work. Thanks again for ignoring me

Setting up the call was difficult. It was a week out for on site service. No one would answer on phone. It said to do online only. The onsite team was great, but the repair was way less than expected. Nearly all of the star is still visible, yet having service in the past the break had usually become imperceptible. Their process seems to not fuse as well as it used to. It is supposed to be guaranteed not to break from the spot, but the sight of it makes me nervous.

Excellent service fixed my truck windshield quickly and were helpful in the insurance process.

Scheduled an appointment online to have them come out and replace my windshield. Paid in full when I made the appointment. Got the work order and confirmation email. Technician was supposed to be Philip. NO CALL NO SHOW! Technician never showed up for appointment and did not make a phone call to reschedule appointment or anything. I can understand if another job took longer or needed to reschedule having been an ASE certified automotive technician and shop owner for 11 years myself, but no phone call is inexcusable. Im currently serving in the military and cant even imagine what would happen if I no showed, or didnt call my leadership if something happened. Im very understanding and would have been fine with rescheduling, but there is no excuse for the lack of communication. I dont normally leave bad reviews, but a no call no show is absolutely deserving of a negative review. Now I have to take time off from work again... its costing me money to have to schedule off work. Please counsel your employees on the importance of punctuality and communication.

The wife had to get a windshield Replaced in her 2018 Ford F150 SuperCrew through our Insurance. The setup and appointments went well but 2 days after we got the windshield replaced, it rained and water poured out all over her feet when she accelerated. I am worried about the electronics under the dash where the water is coming from. As of right now, we have an appointment for Safelite to come out and do it again. I will update review if the 2nd time is better.

I had my windshield installed last week by Roger at Safelite and he did an excellent job. He went the extra mile and cleaned all the windows. There was no debris in my vehicle when he was complete. He was able to remove my toll road transponder and install it on the new windshield without any problem. The rear view mirror was installed correctly and cleaned. Roger did a great job and I really appreciate his attention to detail. Thanks Roger!

They had my address and I paid in advance! What do you need to call for?I was then told my number was long distance for them, and they cant call long distance... WHAT???.I was then told Steven would be here by 1:00, only to get an email from Gregory saying hed be here by 2:00.Gregory is not here.You pay in advance, and no one shows up.You are better off using a local dealer you can trust.

I have tried for days to report a warranty claim on this order. The local office is not answering phones because of COVID. That is terrible customer service. Answer your phone. I also made an inquiry on the website two days ago as requested by the automated answering service and had no response.

Extremely fast repair of a window chip. Appointment at 11:30am and leaving at 11:59am.

Came 3 times to install a new windshield that leaked continually. The fourth time they came they fixed it finally but screwed my windshield wipers up. Now they are stripped and do not work. When I called they said nothing they could do about it because it wasnt the technicians fault. Im a mechanic and I know for a fact it was that technicians fault pick another place to get your windshield fixed if you dont want repeat visits. Oh not to mention the water from ther leakage ruined my blower motor in my dash. Also not the techs fault. trash service (adding as of 10/17/19) my windshield still leaks again now more blowers in my surburban are out. I only get heat on the passenger side and now the back blowers no longer work at all. Thanks for your in experienced workers who have put in who can keep count windshields by now again no resolution and they will not replace it. Find a professional not a big company like this if you are looking for quality. Their services have cost me 400-500$ in parts not counting labor. Thanks again for the horrible service and horrible customer service.

On Tuesday June 5, 2018 around 4:30 PM a driver cut my wife off getting on to I40 from peters creek parkway. This almost resulted in a tragic car accident for my wife and 2 kids. When she called to report the driver, the lines were busy (go figure). I sincerely hope this outfit does a better job selecting who they allow to represent their company.I do not believe the is a representation of the entire company, maybe just this driver, or this branch. Either way it is not acceptable.

Shared for a friend...Anyone else have any issues with Safelite auto glass? I had them put a windshield in my Mercedes and it has leaked from day one. They have sent the tech out several times and all he does is blob silicone on it. Called corporate and they direct me back to the manager at the Winston Salem store and even though I was told it had a lifetime warranty I was told there is no more warranty on it now. The previous windshield didn’t leak, and now this one does. Not very professional to me. Then there is nowhere to leave reviews or complaints on their page.

Went to get a cracked windshield replaced and got talked into getting new windshield wipers. New windshield wiper blade on the drivers side came off the first time it was used and scratched my new windshield. Somehow this isnt covered with their warrantee. Poor customer service. Got small Chip in glass at 10:30am on Wednesday. Filed insurance claim via Geico 10 minutes after chip occurred next day they came out and tried to fixed it by 10:30am. Had wife sign waiver if they mess up the glass they would not be held responsible. They made a small chip with a 1/4 inch run into a foot long crack on my glass and offered to fix it for $297. Called local office for an explanation they said it would be $291. Wife calls back and they tell her it will be $224. No one has any idea how the price has changed so drastically in the hour we talked to everyone. Terribly unsatisfied will never do business again. Will take chipped windshields to a true professional.
