I dont normally write reviews, however I felt this case demanded it. My initial experience began earlier this year. I was having major engine trouble with my Infiniti QX56. After having several mechanics look at it, all of which offered no hope of repair whatsoever, I found Forsyth Auto Care online and decided to give them a call. So glad I did! Firstly, Sharon answered the phone, and she offered hope for an actual solution, unlike everyone else. She has been wonderful to work with! Then I got to know the owner, Mark (a.k.a. the engine whisperer). Extremely wise, knowledgeable, and a straight shooter. A mechanic that can clearly be trusted!!! Theres also Justin, and other mechanics that just do it right the first time!!!Im not trusting of mechanics...this is the only exception!!!

They do such great auto detailing. My cars look like new once they put their hands on it. Good price and turnaround.

Made an appointment over 1 week out. Talked to the man answering the phone. Made appt for 1/26/21 for oil change he gave 10 am for that day. Went in today and the lady ask the desk told me 3 times I had not made the appointment. I told her I knew I did to the tall man. She went and got him but said he didnt remember I told him things u felt he would remember it how would I know what he said back. Anyway very upset because I gave to plan out my appointments to fit my life style like most people. I have dealt with them a couple of years now but plan to take my business an buying future autos to someone else. I deal with there next door neighbor Big Easy Cars I have appreciate Aarons business in the pass but upset over how I was all but called a liar to my face by Forsyth Auto Repair over something so simple as a Oil Change.

Where to start...this is one of those times when 5 stars isnt enough. Not only was I treated extremely well, but my disabled son was also treated well. He makes noises that sometimes irritate people, but here they engaged with him and became friends. He insisted on riding with me on a later return visit, just to see the staff again. And that never happens.And all that is nice, but it was just the icing on the cake. Because as I described a problem that another mechanic had quoted several thousand dollars to fix, Mark began to accurately diagnose issues that had plagued us for months. It was a tough one, but in the end they fixed exactly what was wrong for nearly $2100 LESS than the other shop had quoted. And the work the other shop quoted DID NOT include the actual fix to the problem, which means I would have spent money for nothing.I am very thankful to have found not just an honest mechanic, but a highly skilled one. An intuitive one. When the solution wasnt immediately clear, he asked if he could take an extra day to be sure. Rather than just going by the book and swapping out every part in a complicated system, he made sure he was as informed as possible.Were about to move an hour away from this shop, but Ill happily make the drive back here for anything that comes up. A good mechanic is worth their weight in gold, and this might be the best shop Ive ever dealt with.

This was my first time working with this place! As someone who is new to the city I felt so confident with them working on my car. The receptionist talks to you like youre family. Both she and the mechanic kept me updated on my repairs while I waited. My car was overheating so it was a very serious issue and they fixed it one day for a very reasonable price! Now my car is running like normal!! I will be sure to go to Forsyth Auto Care anytime I need anything. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby!!

Wanted nearly $200.00 to check my transmission. I understand the price if they were repairing my transmission. The dealership doesnt charge that.

HORRIBLE. They charged me 2-3+ times more on parts than what it would have cost me to go 5 minutes away and buy the parts myself. RIP-OFF.

I took my car to Forsyth Autocare to have my clutch replaced among a few other issues. Not only did they turn the repair around in the quick timeframe that I needed it back in, but my car is running better than ever. I have an older Maxima with well over 200 thousand miles and this repair has it running like it has only half the miles! I’m confident it has a few more trips around the world left before retirement. (Side note: My goal is 300k. If we make it there, I will buy it a nice beachside garage for it to live out its days sipping Mai Tai’s feeding the seagulls to the annoyance of other beach-goers).I also had an issue with an EGR clog which not only caused the check engine light to come on, but also turned on my frustration with the DOT each year during inspection time. A non-issue – Forsyth Autocare told me they would clean the EGR while handling the clutch repair. They cleared the code and it has not came back on since. I had the Max inspected yesterday.I am of the type that likes to understand what is happening, especially when I am having service provided. Forsyth Autocare took the time to explain to me what and why everything needed to happen.Forsyth Auto Care has my highest recommendation!
