I have been taking my car along with my daughters car to bill for over 2 years. Bill and his staff are wonderful. Bill is very honest. Ive had other shops tell me I needed stuff I didnt bill checked my car out and saved me a lot of money and headache. I now only use bills shop. I only trust him to work on my daughters car.

Ive been with Bills for almost four years now and they have always taken considerable care of my car, communicated efficiently with any unforeseen issues that arise, and are an all around joy to work with! I own a finicky 99 Honda Accord and Im pretty certain it would not still be running were it not for Bills team!! They also offer financing as a option for big repairs (whew, thank goodness!). Its a comfy feeling working with a business that is down to earth and knows their stuff :) I feel sorry for the upset reviewer - but unfortunate (and most likely unrelated) circumstances can occur (at any time, really...) and automobiles are included!

I highly recommend Bills Auto. My car broke down while traveling to Winston-Salem for work. After sending an email after-hours to Bills Auto, Bill called back that night (very prompt!). I took my car in the next day, and he fixed it by lunchtime! In addition to being friendly, Bill clearly explained what my car needed, and the prices were very reasonable. As an added bonus, the wifi was very useful while I waited, and Bill even bought me lunch. Overall, the best of experiences while dealing with an unexpected car breakdown. Many thanks, Bill, and I plan to come back as long as I continue to travel to Winston-Salem!

We have a free shuttle service, and I am the driver, I love getting the chance to spend quality time with our customers learning about their lives and cars as I drive them home or to work and back. Ive been taking my truck to Bills for a few years since my girlfriend recommended them. Recently they replaced a bad fuel injector. During the repair o-ring seals on another injector were damaged and caused a gas leak in the engine compartment that wasnt discovered until after the fact. After calling them about the leak, they arranged a tow truck, ordered parts and replaced the o-rings on the three remaining cylinders for me at no additional charge. Honest mechanics who care about their customers are hard to come by. I encourage you to go visit Bills!

I was in a bind and needed my 2010 Prius engine replaced for a trip the upcoming weekend - Bill at The Hybrid Shop of the Triad was able to get everything sorted out in a day or two for less than half the cost of my quote from the dealer. Could’nt be happier to have my Prius running smoothly since the replacement 7 months ago. Highly recommend.

Customer beware...!!! Bill is crooked. I took my 2001 Mazda MPV Van to Bills and was called with a estimate of 400.00 bucks and oh what a shock I got when I came back to pick up the van and pay the bill. He charges big money for the parts and when I say big I mean big. The spark plugs were 16.59 for each plug (he claimed they were made of space age material) they were iridium plugs to wich he paid 6.99 for each plug, and yes I have checked on the price of them and all the other parts included in this review, so I was charged 99.54 just for plugs that i could have bought myself for 43.54 not including tax and thats not honest at all for him to do that. I was charged 69.59 for plug wires to wich he paid 30.99 and to me thats not honest of him either. I was charged 94.56 for a oxygen sensor to wich he paid 56.99 and once again he overcharged me. This guy overcharges his customers for parts. I sugested you buy your own parts and take them to him because he obviously doesnt mind milking his customers for parts. I could have saved 131.77 buying the parts myself so let me tell you this guy isnt honest and fair at all and as for as the labor charge its hard to tell how crooked this guy is because he doesnt tell you how much time it takes him on the receipt. I was charged 327.99 for parts and 277.84 for labor. I received a oil change with filter, new spark plugs and wires along with changing the oxygen sensor. What Bill didnt know is that I am a ase certified mechanic from WV who was traveling without my tools and needed the work done asap and he didnt even have 3hrs of labor in repairs. Customer beware...!!! He also bragged about taking a woman for 3,600 to change plugs and wires on her car. Seems to me if you know nothing about cars this guy will take full advantage of you as the other reviews show.Hey by the way my engine light has come back on.
