I was able to meet Mat, the owner, and he was a very friendly and knowledgeable mechanic. Lauren at the front desk could not have been nicer. I chose them based off of other reviews I had read and the fact that they have the best tire mounting/balancing equipment in the game to make sure my wheels would not be damaged. Extremely reasonable prices to boot. The reviews did not let me down, they have a new customer now!

This repair was for my daughters car. The company took the time to explain everything the car needed and how long the service would take to be repaired. I was called and informed her tires were not rideable. We had them replace with new ones, within a day. Everyone is friendly and professional.Haley European Motors is our repair company!

Highly recommend this business. Chris was so kind and helpful and fixed my car right away! My car was almost to the point of being unsafe to drive so I needed an emergency mechanic. I’m in school and an hour from home and my usual mechanic, so I just started calling random places in the area to see if they could fit me in. I called this shop not knowing it was for European cars (I have an Acura) but Chris offered to help me anyway and was able to see me that day! He had parts ordered and fixed my car within hours. AND I was late to pick up my car but Chris was very nice about it and waited for me (on a Friday no less). I’m so thankful and appreciative of this place!!

Matt Haley has been servicing my whole family’s vehicles for at least the last 10 years, and we have never had anything short of a great experience at this shop. I am an insurance claims handler, meaning I spend a lot of time disputing estimates and speaking with shops. I can confidently say his prices are more than fair, and his shop is better run than most.Most recently, my axel broke on a Sunday evening and I had my car towed to his shop. He hadn’t even had a chance to look at it until Monday morning, and my car was done Tuesday afternoon for a great price.I’m surprised to see even one negative review on here. As long as I’m in Winston-Salem, I wouldn’t consider taking my car anywhere else.

Haley European Motors feels like home. When my car needs regular maintenance or I have an auto emergency, all I have to do is get my car to shop and they take care of the rest. That kind of peace of mind is very much invaluable.

I worked with Mat for years at a BMW dealership. He was always a very detail oriented technician and very friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to bring any of my own vehicles there, and I have certainly referenced him many times to friends and family in the area for BMW, Mercedes, and other European models.There really isnt any more clear and direct feedback you can give another technician in the automotive repair world, than from someone who worked beside an individual and can give literal first hand feedback. Do not hesitate to take your vehicle to Haley! I can speak for Mat in knowing he has many years of dealership level training and experience on high end German brands.

They were great at first so I thought. Willing to take payments, meaning take payments before work is done. But when they take your money and don’t fix what was wrong, what was the point? When I asked for my invoice of what was done, funny how their computer crashed. I paid at least $400.00 to fix a leak that they never fixed. Then told I needed to get my transmission rebuilt and he would pull it and have it rebuilt...cost $1500-$2000...WOW!! Took my car elsewhere and there is nothing wrong with my transmission and what should have been fixed did fix the leak if they would have done what was charged for. Thought I found a great place but was ripped off! Thanks!!!Not even worth 1 star

I had Matt do work on my BMW 328xi recently and first the communication was poor, I wasnt even contacted when my vehicle was ready for pickup. I ended up calling 2 days after it was supposed to be completed to find out it was done. When I asked him why he never contacted me he blamed it on the fact he was working by himself and it slipped his mind. I was told i had a bad transfer case and i spent $1700 for him to put in a used transfer case for my vehicle to be worse after. When I went to pick up my car he told me it was making a clunking noise but not to be concerned bcuz it was coming from the transfer case he put in. Mind you this car has driven smoothly and quiet for 2 years Ive owned it until i picked it up from his shop. I ended up taking it to another shop ( Eurohaus) in Stokesdale, NC and come to find out I had a bad rear driveshaft and that the problem I had wasnt even associated with the transfer case at all. For a whole month I had been driving my car even tho it was unsafe to drive because of this guy. I confronted him over the phone that he misdiagnosed the problem and instead of offering an apology he was rude and had a carefree attitude. Stop letting customers spend money when your not even fixing the problem!!! Advice to others, DONT BE FOOLED BY REVIEWS HERE as I was, alot come from people they know personally. Also there are many other shops that do work on European cars, find a mechanic that cares about your satisfaction. Beware! you may take your car here thinking your fixing one thing and end up with more problems than you had before!.....Response to the comment below...no need to return somewhere where you are treated rude over the phone....problem was discovered and fixed properly. I brought this issue to your attention weeks before I decided to get a second opinion. You only made an attempt after you knew I had another mechanic involved, before that you blew me off and showed no concern.

If i could give a zero i would. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! Car has previously not been able to pass inspection due to emissions codes. Took my 325I BMW to this shop as was reading secondary air system fault codes 245 and 246 along with 168 thermostat code. Matt told me air pump hose had a leak and that was causing the emissions code. Supposedly he fixed the hose/s and thermostat, along with an oil change for a total of $600. Told to drive car for about 10mins a day for 3 days and to bring back for inspection. After bringing back for inspection, Other mechanic stated car would still not pass inspection and probably needed Diverter valve. Mechanic did not know what Matt had told us when we took the car the first time around after we questioned why we werent told this the first time so he got Matt on the phone who was very rude and disrespectful when my fiance asked him why this wasnt found initially or diagnosed the first time. Matt got smart and said guess he was just supposed to fix the car for free! He did not try to make us understand why he hadnt found this problem the first time, just simply stated the check engine light had been on a long time(whatever that meant or whatever that was supposed to explain).....Again BEWARE! He seems nice and honest when you first meet him and then the true colors come out when there is an issue.
