Went in and they carded me and my friend but did not card the persons who were behind us. The problem doesnt lie in being carded. The problem was the fact that she mentioned that if we looked less than 50 then she will ask for ID. The two people who were both purchasing wine also looked less than 50 and not once did the employee ask for their ID. I dont know if it was because we are black and they were white but it sure did feel that way.

Good selection and best prices. The staff is friendly and helpful although you can count on them steering you to one of the winery direct labels every time. Not that those wines are bad, I enjoy several of them. Just keep in mind that the recommendations are a bit biased toward their own brands.You cant beat ordering online with the app. I can usually pick it up within an hour or two, and the curbside pick up is quick and easy. The check out line inside can be a bit slow sometimes so ordering ahead works best.

If you want to talk to a wine sommelier for a professional breakdown on your selection, this is the place.They have good business hours, professional and thoughtful insight on selections, and a clean store.My only complaint is the lack of cashiers. This isnt even a fault of having more employees there, but they value customer service in a way that you always have a great time checking out. Just one more cashier, and youd be able to leave satisfied, and in a timely manner.

He knew just what I needed and was very well informed as to what he was talking about.Kim was super friendly and efficient checking me out.The selection and the prices are better than any I have found being new to the Winston area.The location of the store is easy to find and in a good area.Highly recommend.

I just moved back from Ohio, and while in Winston-Salem hanging out with my Best Friend, he took me in the store and purchased a bottle of Raspberry Chocolate wine!! The customer service was great, and the price was just right! Although I live in Mocksville, I will definitely travel the extra miles to shop here! You guys get an A for awesome!

I got pulled over by a cop here one time. But he was a nice enough sort of dude. And I still got to buy 2-countem-two, boxes of extraordinarily cheap wine. And the ticket didnt cost me anything in the end. So really nothing happened here. Nothing happens here. They have wine.

Prices vary from Greensboro and Winston Salem, would have gotten a 5 if the prices were the same. Greensboro is cheaper. How about placing a new store in the Northwest side of town University and Hines Mill area. Great market!

I went to Total wine tonight and I purchased three bottles of sake. The cashier Alli was very sweet and super helpful. More cashiers like her will definitely make me a repeat customer.

Alot of selection. Friendly employees. It seemed that the individual bottles for the mix and match a 6 pack didnt have a structure, so you had to check every aisle to find what you could be looking for. Perhaps if they had 4 and 6 packs on the middle shelves, and then had their respective individual beers above and below them, that could work. But yeah that was such a minor thing. This place is great.

Takes forever for lesser known craft ciders to restock. Last few items Ive asked for them to order for me I never got a follow up and when I went in to the store their log showed items discontinued but they never contact me to tell me that.

We live 20 mi from Total wine called prior to coming asked about a certain brand of wine was told that we had it very friendly very polite very engaging Lee thank you so much. When we got to the store we asked an employee about our brand of wine we were interested in and without hesitation directed us to where the wine was also had some really awesome samples going on. What can I say its a store full of wine were there at least once a week. The staff is always more than willing to help out whether its getting a case off the top shelf or providing recommendations. Theres always a smile and a quick check out to be had. And the prices are the best in town.

It is more like total wine and beer. I could be wrong but I spent 10 to 15 minutes looking for whiskey or rum at this total wine and more. It did not have a large selection of anything other than wine, beer, and fun drinking snacks.

Wanted the Stella Rosa blueberry and this is the only store that carries it. Worth the trip! The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. I picked up the Stella Rosa and several fruit ales on their recommendation that were delicious.

Love the curbside pickup option! I research and purchase my wine online, drive up and text that Im there, and they put it in my trunk. Best way to purchase quality wine, even when theres not a global pandemic!

Always a decent selection. But lately a lot of product is 1-3 years old or more on the shelf, especially in beer area. And a lot of dust on bottles. Quality control has really nosedived over past 3 years. I actually put down 8 beers on most recent trip because they were canned or bottled over a year ago. Pay attention to can dates if you venture here so you dont end up with skunk beer.

This was my first time visiting this place. And I probably wont be back. I walked in with only my wallet. And was followed by employees until I made my selection and went to the register. I mean like I know its bad out here but come on. What was I gonna do run out the door with 6 bottles of wine. And they didnt even ask could they help me. With a selection or to the register. The just kept following me and peeping around corners. Lol its funny now but I felt away then.

The wine that was recommended to replace a wine that was out of stock was pricey and not nearly as good.

It may be a challenge to find what you want but its worth it. They have the variety you cant find in grocery stores. If you cant find what you want, just ask customer service. The selection is amazing!!

Total WIne can be a bit overwhelming but if you are looking for the hard-to-find beer or that wine you cant get around here then this is your place. First of all, dont be afraid to ask the staff where to find things because their organization can be confusing sometimes. I can always find my favorite microbrews here and seasonal favorites to mix and match in my own six pack. I love it! You can also get kegs filled here! They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking,restrooms, and aisles.

Made a specialty order of Samuel Adams Jack-o beer. Never got a call back. I had to call back 2 different times to get an update that Sam Adams doesnt make it anymore and found it at food lion this week not in a variety pack either. Separate like i asked for. 😒

Selection is outstanding and if you cant find something you like you arent trying at all. The only problem is deciding what beer youd like to try next.

A while ago, the staff wine expert at Total Wine recommended a VALUE wine from ROMANIA (Close Out). As is common knowledge, all your best wines come from Romania (NOT!). Needless to say, it was dreadful. Killed a lot of brain cells on that one sip. Worthless. Seriously? I feel stupid(er).Never going back.
