Love shopping here! Prices are comparable to the online retail and the shop is setup super cute and organized (which I love so much!). I love going to the wall of kitchen gadgets and just spending what seems like hours because everything is so organized its fun looking through all the latest things I may need to add to my kitchen tools.

One of my favorites for kitchen, 🔪🍴 cooking, and homegoods items. Conveniently located in Thruway, the store is full of so many hidden gems, great cutlery, cookware, they host cooking classes, the staff and wonderful and friendly, and the store is ♿ handicap accessible with parking, entrances, and restroom.

What great shop! You will find anything you need for the kitchen, hosting or hostess. And things you didnt know you needed. Such friendly service, too.

Love the customer service here! I’ve been in twice to find specific items and they have been able to show me a selection swiftly. I’ve been in a couple other times to browse. The ladies that work here are very kind. Also this is a local shop, so you’re supporting local business and local economy coming here. They have cooking classes happening every time I go in - always looking and smelling delicious. Definitely recommend!

Really nice household items and a beautiful store. Sadly, most prices for kitchen items are much higher than other retail stores. Though its a boutique store. They wrap gifts very nicely. Also cooking classes are popular. Staff are generally helpful but feel like they dont cater to me as much because they think I dont have money to spend. Well, I might and they dont know that. Still some unique items and nice gifts. Closes at 6pm.

Evidently their employees are incapable of basic cleanliness...they can touch/stock merchandise/counter/packages, etc. that the public has put their hands all over but not money...makes complete sense doesn’t it? Sad too because they have nice items. I was not able to use my card on my items because I’m in the process of closing on a house and can only make cash purchases but not here at southern home & kitchen. They can touch everything else (including readjust their mask), just not money! So don’t even bother if that’s all you have!! Also no one greeted me or offered to help the whole 15 mins I was there...the employees definitely give off the typical uppity side of Winston vibe. If you’re into that cool, just wanted to warn whomever that might would upset. Very disappointing experience because I was planning to come back. They did apologize (later that day on social media, NOT in person when I left the store empty handed might I add) but...pish posh.

My mom and I took a cast iron class with George Stilphen. It was amazing and the food was excellent. We will be taking another class very soon with George . It was so much fun ! I highly recommend taking some classes at Southern Home its a wonderful store and the staff is great!

Impeccable service! The staff is so helpful and even knew what I needed before I did. Its clean, well-organized, bright, and smells WONDERFUL. Ive been in a couple of times but yesterday was my first time making a purchase. It will definitely become my local go-to store for home and gift items.

SOHO is an wonderful shop. Support Local. My wife and I have taken 3 classes here and are looking forward to our next. The knife class is the best. You learn how to chop and make dishes. You get some wine and a meal. You pay for your class and included is the knife you use which costs about as much as the class if you were to purchase outright. they have vinegar and olive oil now. The selection of gadgets and such is great. They also have a Frequent purchaser program. Convenient to Business 40 and Stratford road. Staff is super helpful and kind.

I would give them a no star if that was possible. They have a horrible return policy. 24 hours you have to return the items for a full refund. After that you have 15 days to return to get a store credit or exchange. I did not use any of the items I purchased, they were for my sons birthday. And this place is a place that sells gift items as well, so what do you do when someone is not able to use these items? or give them as a gift? You now have items that are useless for your customers, and you wont allow them to be returned. It is a horrible return policy. Why would you have a return policy for these sort of items, when people decide to not get married or not have a party, but yet you purchased them as a gift to the person. It is just mind blowing. And the person I spoke to was not helpful at all about returning the items. She didnt even try working with her customer, and I told her that I would let everyone know what kind of business this is. Awful people!

Had a great experience at their beer class. Looking forward to hopefully taking more beer and cooking classes here! Very friendly staff.
