They sell zero turns, weed eaters, chainsaws and accessories can all be found here. This place sells and service Stihl, Echo, and more. Conveniently located on the South side of Winston Salem.

After the 4 year old zero turn I bought at a big box retailer needed entirely too much work to justify the repair costs, a coworker told me about how happy he was with the mower he bought from FMW. He was bragging about how great the service department was and since the big box stores lack any sort of support for what they sell, I knew I’d be buying from an independent shop this time. I had three different stores to visit and 3 different mowers to choose between. I quickly found out that FMW actually carried two of the 3 models I was interested in. I went ahead and visited the other dealers, and although everyone was nice and seemed well seasoned with their product line up, they both seemed to lock the staff to handle a walk in customer in a timely manner and both service departments were visibly backed up. I called back to FMW and told them I was ready to pull the trigger on my new Exmark Radius X and in two short weeks, I went by to pick it up. From day 1, they were 10/10. The staff wasn’t pushy and they obviously knew their product very well. Each and every employee was a pleasure to work with. I’ve since been back to grab a new chainsaw and plan to have them take over the annual maintenance and repairs on all my Stihl and Echo yard equipment. Thanks FMW! You’ve earned a customer for life.

Two flat tires in the Saturday before Easter and they were going to close in 15 minutes when I arrived. The fixed both tires! Great group of guys!

Great staff, extensive selection and very fair prices. They were very helpful with comparison of different mowers. They also were very good at fitting my needs to the right piece of equipment. I love approximately 30 minutes away from that and they still offered to deliver the bobcat mower for free. They do also offer financing for purchasing mowers. I havent had to use them yet but it looks like they have a pretty extensive service and parts department.

John went above and beyond to help me find a backpack leaf blower which I used for the first time today and LOVE!!. EVERYONE I encountered during my visits there was exceptionally knowledgeable, nice and helpful. Not one of them even once made this gray haired lady feel inadequate or unwelcome.

Best mower shop Ive ever been to. Very helpful staff and a fast service department. My 10 year old Stihl started running rough on Saturday, I drove it over right before they closed, they had it running like a top on Wednesday.Cant ask for more than that.

Ignition switch went out on a 2005/06 MTD Yard Machine 38.I looked at 3 other Mower Shops in the Winston area, No luck.Called Forsyth Mower they looked it up, confirmed it was on hand and they put a hold on ot for me.When I picked it up (same day) I got knowledgeable staff and quick about getting you back out to work.I will tell friends and I will make them my first call about mowers.

Took my mower to them that is only one year old due to it running rough. They said it would be 1.5 to 2 weeks. 4 weeks later I got the mower back and it was not fixed. I had already worked on it myself and told them what I had done and all they did was the same thing I did. I requested a refund and they said no. It is currently with them to make it right but after this visit I will never go back...UPDATEI got the mower back with no fix. I worked on it myself and fixed it no problem. These people are only looking to sell equipment not help you with equipment.I simply updated this review to provide a better look that all I had to do was remove the carburetor myself and clean it well then my mower ran like a top.

I went here to buy a lawn mower and the salesman was very honest and recommended what he thought was the best mower on the market even though they did not sell the mower there. This is good customer service you dont find at many places any more. I would highly recommend this place if you want honesty.

Fantastic! Christian went the extra mile to make sure that my chainsaw was working before I left. He didnt try to oversell me on things that I didnt need. I will definitely buy my next weed trimmer from them over the big box stores just for the customer service.

I love these guys and lady. They are knowledgeable and friendly weather or not you are spending money. I have them service all my equipment and I purchase everything I need from them and I never feel cheated.

They offer much higher quality mowers than ones you purchase at big box stores here. They had the Cub Cadet XT2 line that I was interested in. I had just bought a house and didnt really know which mower would be the best option, so I went in here and they took the time to explain the differences between the models and helped me find the best mower for what I would need without trying to upsell a bigger mower to me that I wouldnt need. They delivered it for me and the delivery person gave me a tutorial on how to run it, what all of the functions were, where things were located, and suggested maintenance items as well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new lawnmower.

Went to purchase a Stihl weed eater and was told they could only order 2 at a time. They said they would call around and look for the model I wanted but I never got a call back. Found exactly what I needed at another dealer in town. Also posted hours are until 2 on Saturdays. Went by after driving half an hour to go there and they were closed and locked up at 1:45. Most likely will be not returning to this dealer.
