Went to get a new battery for my car. They were quick and friendly. I didnt have to wait long for them to install it.

All little irritating that we went all the way to this location to buy a new battery because the website said this location had the specific car battery we needed. Go inside and they tell us they dont carry it. Just the location on colonial! Perhaps they should update the website for this location instead of wasting peoples time.

Ive been going to Advance over 10 years! They have a variety of tools and parts with a decent range of prices for the average mechanic or do it yourselfer. They have always been helpful with information and getting any parts they may not have on hand shipped from another store, usually the same day. They also have tools that may be more expensive or that you dont need often that can be borrowed. Its a good place to get what you need and will continue to be one of my main stops for repairs.

I had a bad battery and needed help with a replacement. Ivan was one of the most helpful and knowledgeable staff I’ve ever seen. He dealt with my situation in a timely manner with the utmost efficiency. He deserves recognition for his excellence in customer service.

I dont think Ive ever met anyone with absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. Nothing against the company, just the dude with the scar . He made it obvious he had no intention in assisting me. I literally had to tell him, no problem bro Ill try a different location and he just walked away. I ended up going to OReillys down the street and the kid answered all my questions and more! Ive never given a bad review but Im totally ok with it this time.

Angel assisted me with purchasing a replacement starter back in September and was hands down the best help I have EVER received in an auto-store. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and really made the experience great. My dad and I went in initially just to buy a starter, but we kept returning to the store for all sorts of supplies just because the customer-service was so good. Thank you Angel!

Super easy experience. I pre-ordered my parts online (the website even double-checked that I had picked the correct parts for my car make/model) and my order was ready for me at the counter when I walked in. Staff was nice and courteous.

This location has terrible, unacceptable service. I arrived today 20 mins prior to closing with my sister who purchased a battery from here with a 3 year warranty. Upon arrival, the employee Ivan made a notable annoyed gesture when he saw customers arriving as if it was an inconvenience we were there. Before I could express the need of our battery being checked (the car stopped 3 times prior to arrival because of the battery), Ivan said there is nothing he can do for us because it will take him too long to change a 5 minute battery. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Ivan refused to help us despite the store still being open. I will be calling the General Manager, Tom (as listed on the door) and hope corporate hears about how this store treats customers. At 752p we drove to Auto Zone down the block and they gladly changed our battery despite the time and did not complain. Save yourself the trouble and dont go here.

The manager at this location is a joke not only did they try to sell me a Box of 3 brake pads but then they try to give me a hassle about it I dont even make it to the red light before I realized they made a mistake I would not deal with this location one bit and let me tell you guys Im a certified professional in the industry and for them to treat me in this manner just imagine how they will treat you

They are always helpful and nice. They usually have the parts/tools I need but when they dont will get it shipped in pretty quick or tell you the nearest store that has it. This time I had to replace a alternator that was going bad. Luckily it was still under warranty. I called in and they could see my purchase in the system and said to bring it on in so they can test it. Once they tested it and it failed they gave me the replacement with no issue. I never have any trouble with service.

Well I bought a battery for my CB900. And I had two options, 1) a battery that I have to put in the sulfuric acid and charge it. Or 2) the more expensive option which was pre charged and no additional work needed. They convinced me of the more expensive battery, which I ended up buying. After getting home, the bike did not start. Took the entire bike apart trying to find problems with wiring or anything of that sort. After 4 hours of wasted efforts still no results. Turns out they sold me a battery from 2016 with 2.3 volts (not nearly new and not pre charged as they claimed. Upset with this situation I go back for a replacement and they did not have one in stock. So basically this was the last battery that they had for my bike and, instead of checking the date on it or even doing a test to seeing if it was pre charged before wasting my time and effort, they just gave me a full refund with no apology from the manager and no compensation for their faults. Highly upset at this service, won’t be going back due to the dishonesty and shady handling of their inventory.

Ivan was very rude with me, he ordered the wrong part for my car, and didnt want to give me a refund for my part because It didnt have the plastic wrapper it came with I came with my receipt and Ivan even remembered me, but was still rude and refused to grant me a refund. Because my part was ordered, and paid for in advanced I did not keep the plastic it came in . I assumed that the part was the correct one and so I discarded the plastic . The plastic was literally a thin sleeve. If i knew they had sold me the incorrect part I would have never even purchased it in the first place. It was unprofessional and inconvenient to have sold the incorrect part and then refuse the refund on a technicality! It was pre ordered and pre paid for . Very disappointed!

Terrible service today.Took a long time for an employee to come to the register to ring me up. In the middle of the transaction, he answered the phone and dealt with that person, before finishing my transaction.Immediately after me, he rang up another customer, and then proceeded to install her wiper blades, before installing mine.

I will not buy anything from advance until they fix there warranty and return policy it is a joke
