Walking along the road in Winter Park I noticed a beautiful little alley.Winter Park is a beautiful area of Florida. This was my first time visiting the area. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. Then I see the sign which pointed me down this little alley way with a beautiful bubbling fountain in the center. Curious I went down the alley to find a quaint beautiful store full of edible curiosities.The store is full of fragrances that delights one senses. They have amazing tasting vinegars, oils, jams, sauces and other items. It is definitely a place you would want to seek out.The store is very clean and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. You can sample just about everything.

Love this little hidden gem in Winter Park! I like to walk through what seems to be an antique path to end at this gem! I have gotten olives and stopped by before, but this time I went in with a mini group to sample some of their goods and I was mind blown! They have so many different flavors of balsamic and olive oil that it is crazy how well some do mix!We tasted olives, a cracker with manchego cheese with fig jam drizzled with blood orange olive oil and to top it off, we had vanilla ice cream drizzled with blackberry ginger balsamic and blood orange olive oil! Who wouldve known that it would taste divine? I was mind blown!Our host was Joel and he was super nice, inviting, attentive, friendly, resourceful and always open to give advice or answer any questions.We sampled the winter park balsamic and strawberry basil combination and both were very good and the combinations were an awesome explosion of flavors into my foodie mouth :)If you are in Winter Park, it is a must to stop by and see and taste any of the wonderful flavors of olive oil and/or balsamic. You never know what you may fall in love with ;)

We had to go back to the Ancient Olive since we became enamored with the Balsamics on our last visit. We love the flavored Balsamic Vinegars and we only use it and olive oil on our salads. Our favorites are the Tangerine, Blueberry, Raspberry and Black Cherry. We dont have a location near us so we bought enough to last us until we come back down to Florida. They have many other things available in the store. I especially like the pure honey. Also many accessories as well.

Tracy and Lisa are the most knowledgeable, passionate people Ive met at a place that primarily sells Olive Oil. They know qualities, histories, and flavor profile combinations! Almost anything in the store can be tried so the buyer always knows what they are buying! I brought home goods to my parents and now theyre huge fans. Will come again!

Called more than 15 mins before closing to see if they could gather what I need so that I can just come in and pay for it. No one picked up and when I arrived before 7pm (listed as closing time) they were already closed. Annoyed when businesses dont keep to their store hours, especially small businesses.

Even with COVID going on, theys till offer to grt you samples of the flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars! Always so good. My mom has to stop by everytime she comes to town too.

Introduced our friend to the store. You get $1 off if you bring back your bottles for a refill. Great oils and vinegar. Helpful staff who will let you taste and make suggestions. They also carry honey, sauces and items for the kitchen. Park at the free public parking garage around the corner. Top 3 floors are free public parking on the weekends. Oh and your first time to find the store - its hidden behind other shops, go down a walkway between the Christian Science Reading room and the Orlando Watch company. There is a fountain and a courtyard in front of the Ancient olive.

Refill prices are getting ridiculously high. Not a happy camper as I really enjoy the exquisite taste of the vinegars. Today will be my last refill /purchase visit unfortunately.

My friends and I were planning a picnic In St. Augustine recently and we were hoping to buy a different variety of olives that we hadn’t had before . We decided on the lemon infused olives considering what we thought they might be like, bitter and bitter but WTH. Let me share that they are Fantastic! Not bitter but delectably soft on the palette and a great combo to our cheeses and wine. I’m heading to WP today to get more. Don’t overlook these gems.

I stumbled upon this hidden treasure yesterday afternoon. To start, the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products.Its more than just an olive oil store--they have a variety of sauces, jams, pasta and delicious marinades. They not only allow you to try everything in the store, they encourage it.I dont post reviews often, but I had to comment after reading some of the negative reviews-- specifically the comment saying the olive oil tasted like vegetable oil. Sad to see narrow minded comments (remember folks this is a business and your comments matter).This store has many varieties to choose from (as stated before, with free samplings) that are simply delicious. I highly doubt from the quality of goods they carry anything tasted like vegetable oil, but who knows maybe some people like that! Anyhow, the point is youll find many options to choose from! I highly recommend.

Went to a class at Orange County Library and the staff from Ancient Olive were the presenters. Had a great time of fun and learning. Never knew that much about Olive Oils. Have used them forever, but after visiting the store in Winter Park the following Saturday, I will never buy from a grocery store again. This oil, along with the vinegars, was amazing! Its a hidden gem on Park Avenue. Its a Balsamic, Olive Oil heaven! Sip your way all around and pick your favorite. But it doesnt stop there, talk to one of the staff, and theyll mix up flavors thatll knock your socks off. Did I mention cheese samples? Yummmy! Lots of stuff to pick up, no pressure. Just be aware, youll never see it from the road, its on a back patio, on the east side of Park Ave. Definitely a worthy stop to be made!
