Dr Taylor is the best. I wouldn’t trust no one else with my mom, 84 yrs old, hearing problem. He takes his time, makes her laugh, very professional. My moms hearing is back thanks to him and excellent choice of hearing aids.

Dr. Taylor was awesome. He took a great deal of time with me to make sure my new hearing aides met my expectations. I appreciated his caring & concern to ensure that I felt comfortable with my new aides. He walked me thru every step that I needed to know to receive the maximum benefit. My father-in-law, who is 75 yoa, was having difficulty with his hearing aids. He had recieved them from the VA. He could not hear out of the left one at all.I Googled hearing aids near me when we were visiting Orlando, Fl., where my father-in-law lives. I stumbled upon Florida Medical Hearing Centers, 501 N. Orlando, Fl., 32789, Suite 239. What a lucky stroke of searching, my God, how great that experience turned out.Ok, first I called and a young woman named Vanessa answered the phone. She was pleasant, courteous and just seemed to want to help us. She stated that they do repair and perform maitenance on hearing aids.She set-up an appointment that same day at 2:30pm.Well, we arrived at the location and were met by Vanessa and Joseph Taylor. (Im sorry, we did not get Vanessas Last name).Anyhow, Vanessa was probably the nicest and most upbeat person we have ever met employed in retail. She must enjoy her career because she was very helpful. She even help us tourists by recommending a fantastic Italian local eatery for us.Now, Joseph Taylor took us to the back room where the majic began. He was so patient and knowledgable. He took his time and explained in great detail, and slowly and loudly enough the proper way to do everything related to hearing aids (icluding but not limited to: ear cleansing, hearing aid charging, sound profile manipulation, etc). He then updated the hearing aid software, cleaned both my father=in=laws ears and hearing aids. Joseph then ran a rather lengthy but in depth sound program that created a sound profile tailored to my father-in-laws hearing loss issues, showing us all the while how the manufacturing company just put a standard sound profile on them and shipped them.My father-in-law was so pleased. He has never heard so clearly and now the aids were customized to his hearing.Because of Vanessas and Josephs wonderful attention to their customers and their just charming and polite attitudes, we will never go anywhere else for hearing aid issues.It is a rare moment in time when you are so happy with the service you recieved that you feel you will never be able to get that service anywhere else.Bravo to Joseph and Vanessa, I hope the management/owners of this place read this and somehow reward them for making our visit so magical. Thanks, you guys!We are lifetime customers now!

These guys are truly the real deal and their care for the patient is first and foremost. I have been going to them for several years now and when anything is not just right they put full effort into making it so. Dr Taylor has the most up to date technology in discerning hearing problems. He carefully listened to me tested me and explained my hearing issues. He is so competent in diagnosing and has great knowledge of the newest and best hearing aid technology. Dr. Taylor refuses to charge me when I visit him to for help with the removal of a wax trap or other hearing aid issues And, he has a wonderful sense of humor. This is the only place to go for hearing issues!

Mr. Taylor is just amazing. He Takes the time needed to not only examine your condition but explains everything in detail and answered all my questions with answers one understands. I have been using his services for 3 years and have had to have my hearing aids adjusted once and fixed once( due my fault) I would recommend him to family and friends.

I brought my mom hear who has not been hearing well for years. She only thought she was hard of hearing in one ear but in fact it was both ears. Dr Taylor was great and he was able to get my mom set up with hearing aids. She she can now hear conversations and we do not need to yell for her to hear us anymore. Great service!

Dr Taylor was very gentle and caring. He was very informative regarding my husband Paul’s issue. My husband has had a hearing problem from a very young age and has been dealing with Florida Medical Hearing Centers for two years and he always complained about the right ear not being the same volume as the left ear and when he saw Dr. Taylor he knew immediately what the problem was and the hearing aid is working fine now. He takes his job very seriously from person to person.

They always go above and beyond to help me. Audiologist are usually pushy and intrusive but here they always get the job done, treat me with professionalism,and at the best price.The only audiologist in central and NE Florida Ill ever go to.In addition, Im really glad they got rid of the other receptionist ( I think her name was Laura) because she was so rude to me. Presumably because Im a college kid who probably looked a little scruffy that day.

I took my grandpa in for his new hearing aids and from the moment we walked in they went out of their way to make it an easy process. Yvette was very friendly and helpful with the appointment at the front desk. I was having difficulties with my hearing aids over this passed weekend. I called Monday morning to obtain an appointment. Mr.Taylor answered the phone and I told him what I wanted. He asked if I could come in that day before 3: 00 PM. and i said yes. I arrived at about 1:30 PM, he had two patients in the office. I was seen after a very short wait. Mr. Taylor cleaned wax from my ears and my hearing aids and every thing was just fine. I have been going to Florida Medical Hearing-Winter Park for about five years and i have always received a quick response to my problems.

I went to get fitted with an In the Ear Canal hearing aid and once tested was told I was not a good candidate because of my hearing loss and should continue to wear my old hearing aid since it was a good brand. They took the time to clean it, put a new speaker on it and go in and re set all my settings to my hearing loss. Joe Taylor spent time with me making sure I was happy with all the new settings. He could have tried to up sell me or put me in a new hearing aid that would not work as good as my old one for my hearing loss. Very trustworthy and highly recommend him.

I am a happy guy now that my hearing is greatly improved.

If I could give 100 stars i would.I broke the receiver to my Phonak Hearing aid and was expecting to spend a small fortune and be without my hearing aid for a few weeks. They asked my to bring it in to take a look at it. They fixed it in 20 minutes for a very reasonable price. I am a very happy man.

He fitted me with the newest technology at an awesome price.My insurance company would not pay for an up grade and wanted to put me in a downgraded basic behind the ear module.I am very active and have a bald head that would not work for me.Joseph worked hard for hours with the insurance company and they finally agreed to pay for the upgrade. I paid no out-of-pocket.My old hearing aid specialist wanted $4k. Possibly one of the worst experiences Ive had in my life, and I would go as far as question the veracity of the reviews given to this place. Lots of 1 review users...My grandma (who is italian) asked me to find a specialist in the US to help with her hearing loss. She had spent thousands on hearing aids back home and they did not help.I found this place, called and Laura was extremely kind and scheduled an appt for us. My grandmother is 86, cannot hear and doesnt speak english. We arrived on time and patiently waited for over an hour for Dr. Taylor. When we were finally called in, immediately I explained to him she didnt speak english, and so Id have to translate everything. I wont go into details, but he was one of the rudest, most obnoxious, least patient people Ive ever met. His tone and attitude indicated either extreme bad mood or simply an issue with his temperament. He was rushing us, wouldnt allow me to explain to my grandmother what was happening. He became especially rude when we told him she wasnt dropping $4000 for a hearing aid until we made sure it was working and she could hear. He wasnt having it... After he yelled at grandma for the 3rd time because she wasn’t following his instructions, I had had enough, so we got up and walked out. It was beyond upsetting to see how he was treating my grandma. Unacceptable.To make a long story short(er), we eventually went back in a few days later after Laura (who is a sweetheart) reached out to us and apologized profoundly. Since this was about helping my grandma, I put my frustration with his behavior behind. He apologized immensely when we arrived, but quickly his temper and rude behavior came back; its astonishing that someone who works with elders could be so short-tempered and rude. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. They have other branches, choose another one.In the end though, my grandma purchased hearing aids, and has been living happy, able to hear again.UPDATE:Go to their branch in Winder Garden! Better treatment, fantastic doctor and kind staff.
