They goes out of medicine that are being prescribed. Poor inventory management and overall customer service. I prefer this location due to feasibility but pharmacy staff ask for second trip so one or the other reason.
Staff including the pharmacy team are extremely willing to help and are trying their best to be helpful despite these difficult times. The pharmacists are getting slammed with people the last two weeks due to the health crisis and yet they continue to be kind and patient with everyone else. You can hear people in line being less than pleasant and yet the staff try to maintain being nice to everyone.
Imagine merging two stores together and learning a new system... it is going to be hard on the employees. They are trying their best and going above and beyond while being yelled at. Words of encouragement and kindness for them would go a long way.
Absolutely brutal wait times at the pharmacy. When you call anytime of day you are also on hold endlessly. Need new management
I work at Walgreens
Lines to get a prescription are always very long. They had six people in back and still couldnt keep up. From one of the reviews below I see they merged two stores. Perhaps this explains why they are so overloaded here. There is a sign overhead by checkout Express Checkout with another sign Coming soon... Gives you something to chuckle about while you twiddle your thumbs and wait. :)
The most UNPROFESSIONAL pharmacy i ever went to. They were not friendly at all. Went in as a waiter and they didn’t get my prescription ready until an hour and a half later. Once I got home and checked my bag they gave me the wrong amount of medication. Mind you it’s a control medication and they didn’t double check or initial it. Worst service I ever had at this location. Then I called and was on hold for 40 minutes then they picked up and hung up. I’m never coming here ever again. Once you go you’ll see
The worst! We want Rite Aid back. NEVER have scripts ready, tell me something isn’t covered by insurance and when I point out it’s always been covered it “miraculously” goes thru and is accepted. Long lines no apologies, and there are 6 people in the pharmacy working. No more will I ask the doctor to use this pharmacy.
I waited for ten minutes to get a prescription that wasn’t ready, then had to wait 30 minutes in line to pick it up. That was last week and after they had misplaced the original fax (so I had to contact the doctor’s office and have them resend it). Yesterday I called in a to renew a former Rite Aid prescription and found that the new Walgreen system doesn’t work with the old prescription number. I must have talked with four people before they told me they didn’t have the item and would fill it the next day. Later that afternoon they called to say it was ready?? I went in today to pick it up and the line was at least ten people long, so I turned around and left. Another woman said it was a 60 minute wait to get her prescription. I know it’s not the fault of the workers whose training in the new system was sadly neglected or inadequate. I’m switching to another store for any new prescription.
Pharmacy is slow and clueless
