A bit dirty and some funky smells, but good selection

Went here and I swear I was profiled for my age. I’m 14 and I was walking around grabbing snacks. I reached into my bag to count my money and verify I had the money to pay. I walked around a bit more and this women very sternly approaches me. She’s a mixed woman with black hair and tells me that I need to leave. Now I’m with my friend and my first thought was if I was being loud. She tells me that she saw me reaching in my bag while my friend was whispering in my ear. He was, but only because he was messing around like what teens do! So I was given the option to pay for what I had and when I skied if I could just finish what I was looking at she quickly said no now pay. At that point I just wanted to get out. Probably never going back there. Worst part is they lost a good customer.

Staff are always helpful and friendly and if you want something that is out of stock they let you know when it will be back in stock

On Monday 5/21/18 at 6pm my husband and I arrived at family dollar. At the time of our arrival 2 other people arrived too. The woman went to go in and the door was locked. Before any of us were able to react the worked waved us away while yelling we are closed. There were no signs stating that they would be closing early or that they were closed. All the lights were on. My husband asked why they were closed and this set the worker off!! He came storming over to the door unlocked it and starting yelling “ closed go away. Not telling why!” My husband then asked for the mans name and he again yelled” closed. Go away. Not giving name” my husband annoyed at this point then asked again and the man got inches from my husbands face and started screaming while waving his finger in my husbands face “ don’t you talk about my mother no one talks about my mother” we were all a little stunned. While trying to hold in my laughter I explained to the man no one even mentioned his mother. He then started to scream at me. We started to walk away and he opened the door again and said “ ok shop” so I start to walk over and he’s Yelling that I’m on camera and he’s calling the cops. I told him I’m glad it is all on camera so when I come to speak to his manager he will see how his employee treated not 1 but three customers very badly. I will be going in to speak to the manager tomorrow about the pure disrespect of his employee and how extremely unprofessional he was. The other woman there gave us her phone number for the manager to contact her. The manager is a sweetheart but this employee was on another level of rude!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Somedays things wont be perfect, of course but always enjoy the good moments. I find the dollar store here, and in Framingham, to be well-organized, and run by really good people. The goods move quickly, so dont be bothered by others reloading the shelves. The pricing is refreshing.

The store is a a disorganized mess. The two male employees stood conversing loudly with each other ignoring the customers. I was shorted change at the check out and when I called him out on it he rudely asked if I needed a calculator....He knew I was right but tried to blow me off. I persisted and got my correct change. Ill never go back. Too bad you cant give 0 stars :(

Has great value on batteries and utilities. Plus snacks and drinks for cheap.

Its ok...not a huge selection...dont carry all the sales on fliers

I dont know if the guy today has any personal problem... but I saw he treat a old lady very badly throwing stuff at the bag with so much hate.....if you cant handle work with the public go work at somewhere else.....November 9 at 10:33 am....beside she was waiting for at least 10 minutes at the cashier to get her stuff charged...I dont like kind attitude...when was my turn i said thanks...he not even looked at my face...I really hope this guy have a good day....I think hes going to some stress...

Theres a lot, just look for what you find, food, snack, juice, hygiene, souvenir, boxes, socks, gloves 👍
