Terrible experience for online order basically what had happened is that I ordered some items for a friend as a gift and waited 12 days for in store pick up witch was fine but then I got an email saying my order was picked up when I never picked it up I called customer service and they just said the package was picked up and nothing else how could you be so unprofessional and let someone take a package without asking ID or order confirmation

Im really disappointed with what Hot Topic has turned into but thats not this specific stores fault. I wish this specific store had more clothing like the one in East Brunswick. This store is really just a bunch of tchotchkes. My daughter and her friends with there was more alternative music related things instead of Ariana Grande and anime.

I gave it a 3 because the employees are always so helpful without being pushy. They always greet you with a warm smile. But this store is quite pricey. I understand that its in the mall and they need to jack up their prices but why pay twice as much for something you can buy somewhere else for almost half the price.

Store personnel are always super courteous and helpful.If they dont have on store, theyll order it for you.Go for their exclusive apparel.Keep forgetting its a tad easier to park at JC Penney(store is lower level) to reach it.

The staff here is really chill and helpful, they have alot of new items that just dropped which is great. Only reason why its not 5 is because some items are already dented or dirty on the shelf.

This place is a great place to buy clothes. People are quite friendly here. Everyone knows about Hot Tooic since its been around for years. If you like bands or if you are into anime or games, this is the store to go for all of that stuff. Never had a bad experience in a Hot Topic.

Woodbridge Hot Topic is awesome! The staff is very cool. There was one associate in particular, Melia, this little Hawaiian girl with long hair. She was so adorable, still in training, but she hustled and was very professional. Very helpful and enthusiastic. Plus, the way she dressed, was very goth-sheek, very classy, but still able to pull off that dark side. Very fashionable, she can bring a whole new genre to the place! Keep up the great work, all of you! The professional staff has a well rounded mixture of personalities that appeals to every shoppers needs.

Great place for band t shirts but nowadays sadly you can find the same ones online and usually cheaper, my guess is they make their dough on the cool trinkets and whatnot just alot of oddball stuff that you normally wouldnt think of looking for...Im not sure if theyre still around cause I dont hit malls very often these days but hot topic is kind of like a Spencers but more on the clothing side than oddball or poster type of things my guess is hot topic tried to mimic Spencers when they started but who knows...in fact in the early 90s at Spencers in east Brunswick mall sebastian Bach from skid row was in front of me in line and didnt know til he turned around lol very tall but was totally chill and friendly said he was buying a xmas gift...but agree like most def on expensive side so Im sure internet has made it harder for them to survive...brick and mortar stores will soon be a thing of the past

I love the Hot Topic chain itself, but this location I can say Ill never return to. I came to this location with some friends and only had cash on me, but I wanted to buy a dress that was out of stock in my size in that store. So the cashier helping me suggested that shed order it for me online and I could just purchase a gift card for her to use so I could have it ordered. I gave her my cash and she scanned a gift card then proceeded to throw it out when she was done using it. I assumed that everything was fine and Id get my dress in a week. Well I got an email that my order was cancelled due to the dress I purchased being sold out completely, I then am pissed off because then Im thinking hot topic just stole my money since my cashier never gave my the gift card that she asked me to purchase. So I went back to that hot topic location to get my money back, there was no way in hell Id settle with a gift card because I never went to the store with the intention of buying one in the first place. I told the cashiers that were there that day about my issue and I showed them the receipts for the dress and gift card that had my cashiers name on them. But then instead of just solving my issue and giving me my money, they take 2 hours to get in contact with their supervisors about the problem to do what they only needed two minutes to do.... ridiculous

I love hot topic itself but what sucked is that I got two chokers. One seems to be missing a chain piece and the other just completely broke before it was removed from the box. $15.00 wasted on two broken jewelry. ):
