My Order is missing an item. I bought Halloween costumes for my son. I did a curbside pickup which was very smooth and easy and to my mistake I just looked at it and didn’t check everything, when I get home I realize that there is a missing item. Been calling the store with no luck “operator not available” called customer service there couldn’t help because they say the order was marked as picked up. This is so inconvenient. I have to drive back there.

Store: organized like usual jc PenneyStaff: needed help on something and one staff member was so weird and misleading. Had to find another who helped.

We visited the store yesterday and had the displeasure of being falsely accused of theft by an apparent employee of the store, which for some odd reason could not be found after the fact. Her way of handling things was very unprofessional and unwarranted, even when she checked our receipts and confirmed we had not done any wrong. The girl had no name on the shirt or anything and she was not dressed for work so I don’t know if she lied about working for JCPenney. After the girl made me embarrassed because there were people outside and she said it out loud, I went to talked with the manager and he told me that he didn’t know who she was but he was sorry, That he has a guy for the security not a girl. I was going to leave but I was angry so I tried to find the girl but I didn’t find her. This cannot go unpunished. I hope the store manager, are able to locate the said employee because I didn’t buy it when he told me that he didn’t know who she was (you are the manager, you are supposed to know your crew ) with the way he dismissed me and told me not to roam around the store. Maybe they know her and hide her at the back store. I have my receipt as proof I paid for my item, this is not how a customer should be treated. If someday someone goes through that (crazy employee) and you did nothing wrong then go talk to manager first.

Bought a ring from their jewelry store, less than a month the center diamond fell off. So I take it in as I bought insurance, was told I’d be contacted in three weeks about the ring, three weeks go by and I go in to figure out what’s happening cuz no call. I get here and they tell me that they are a bit backed up, oh ok! No biggie, so I just decided to wait until they are able to call me. Almost three months later I get a call that they couldn’t fix my ring, so I go in to do a refund. I get there and there are two associates in the jewelry section, one is busy attending a customer and the other doing something with jewelry so obviously I go for the one who is not occupied with a customer. Only for her to shoo me away and tell me to wait for the other associate.So me being oblivious I wait, and the other lady is OBVIOUSLY busy with a customer so after waiting for a bit I go ask her why she can’t help me. Her answer, she doesn’t know how to do what I needed done. But somehow she knew to call someone else who could had been able to help. So basically she wasn’t trying to help me at all, but she had the means to call someone who could when I said something??? I’m sorry? They tried to give me a jcpenny gift card as my refund, that didn’t work as I don’t shop here and the only thing I bought from them was the ring. But I don’t want any of their jewelry as mine didn’t even last a month.

Just to love location, today BAD experience at sephoras section. I didnt know new policy that do not touch.Black lady came to me with attitude and said If you need to try let me know same time she got the perfume and sprayed something like disinfect.I may good I fell like trash!!!I wont get back to that palace on my life!!!

JCP is a wonderful department store. My review is based on the foolishness of opening the men’s fitting room and not the women’s and opening so late in the morning when it takes so long to get your errands done. Close an hour earlier to save money. Just open at 10 am like everyone else.

Clean and lots to choose from. Some of the staff is very nice. Some of the staff is unaware they have customers to assist.

Once a well known store is about to disappear and forgotten. Empty store . Very few customers in whole store.

I really like Pennys been going there since I was a child with my mother and Im 61now. I love their plus size items. They have so much of what I like. I think my last visit, 2hrs or more in the store. ❤

Cashier was very nice and polite. There was no lines which was great. An amazing sale on towels and a roasting pan.

While the actual store was beautiful and clean, the associates working in Sephora were rude and very unhelpful. We came in to ask for perfume recommendations and we were ignored by the associate standing right next to us, and she then just walked away. Then when we touched one of the sample bottles, the woman running the register snapped at my husband for touching a bottle. As we walked away, she rolled her eyes at us. Incredibly unprofessional. So we left and went to Victoria Secret instead. We will not return.

Ok Jeans are over priced

Horrible experience. Got a ring, bought a care plan, and they sent it to get it resized. They said itd at most take 3 weeks and I was really counting on getting it back before Christmas, but here we are, a couple days past the ready date and no ring.I kept calling to check the status of the ring and that in itself was a horrible experience. The first time I tried to contact the store I had to call 3 times to get through, and finally the person that picked up took my name and number and told me theyd look into it. Well they never called back. I called the next day, same thing. The day after that nobody picked up the phone at the jewelry department, but I got through to their main line and they told me to hold, then after 15 minutes I heard them pick up the phone and hang up.Today I got through to the jewelry department, same thing as always, theyd look into it, but I asked the lady if she could just look up the order number and found out that it wasnt even sent out until 10 days ago and she said itd be 3 weeks from that date.Needless to say, never relying on this store ever again. Thanks for ruining Christmas.

Curb side pickup not available.. when you go in the ask you to go to the end of the store to pickup...what is the point 😐 you getting closed and exposed to all people in store 🤔

Love their coupons! They used to send out $10 coupons to their members on their birthday! They still send special coupons for women on Mothers Day! I believe the company has the customers best interest in their heart!

We just left the Woodbridge store and my wife got a great interview outfit, every item on sale! All mens boots marked way down. Cheryl was so kind and patient as I wanted to make sure we got the sale price on every item. She is a true treasure to have a a retail store. Thanks so much!

Very well organized store!

At the end of my visit today I checked out at the registers in the mens department. The lady at the 2nd register from the right who waited on me was so patient! First in trying to find me in the system to make sure I got the credits for my purchase, then with all the changes I was putting her through. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but I got lucky! I looked on my receipt to mention her name here but it wasnt there.

Bought new baby stuff. Not a lot of options, but got what I needed.

Prices have been really disappointing lately. We used to receive really good email coupons, but not lately and I refuse to spend almost $30 on a JCPenney brand polo.

I simply dont understand why this company is struggling. I love the brands here. A person can look like a Million Dollar and not spend a lot of money... I guess you get the idea.

You might be able to find what you are looking for but chances are you wont. It is a mini JCPenney that used to be an outlet store. Every section is super small with a limited variety. JCPenney had advertised about a $10 of coupon so I was there early. They had so few coupons that it wasnt funny and only the manager had them. I had to literally chase him down.

Early hoilday hours and while not fully staffed the cashiers where quick to get us checked out.

Busy place. They try hard, but clothes can be a bit scattered. Nice people, but checkout lines move slowly. You can find good deals here.

It said 50% off on fourth of July, but when I tried to check out, I was told it was buy one get one 50% off. They should advertise better, because I didnt see it anywhere about buy one get one 50%.

I like to buy clothes here and they have a Harry Potter line that my kids like.

What a sad end to a good company. I ordered two things online for instore pickup: a six-pack of black underwear and khakis.The underwear was NOT black. The khakis sold were not advertised as being recycled, but the product picked up said it was made of recycled clothing. And was all wrinkled.The in-store experience was even worse-waiting in two lines when there are no other customers in the store, and no excuse for going so slowly. I still want to support brick and mortar stores, but JC Penney isnt worth trying to save.

Love this spot they have husky clothes which is perfect plus slim as well for kids. Great place for kids clothes.

They had my jeans and in my size. Fitting rooms were not cluttered and locked. I bought 2 jeans when I wanted 1. Need I say more!

I was happy to see they had a plus size girls section I have a hard time finding clothes for my daughter but loved theyre selection and earned some penny bucks also 😉

Pennys have a nice selection of clothing. For myself I find it difficult to find proper fitting footwear as I have s narrow foot and the shoes available are medium to wide sizes. The footwear are like most places youve seen one style youve seen them all... no feminine lines, mostly box style and those horrible memory foam shoees.

Its a nice store in Potomac Mills. Has all the usual clothing for all the family. Also shoes, bedding and a few toys.

Store had limited staffing, long lines, and a busy floor plan. Also didnt like that you have to walk through a maze of aisles to the back of the store and wait in line with returns to get a pick-up order. Not super convenient.

Absolutely my fav place to go shopping. they have a great amount of sales and coupons and i have bought sweaters and jeans for just $2-$10! almost impossible to believe!

I typically buy online with jcpennys and it takes forever to ‘pickup in store’ . Even just calling this specific store is a headache. Nobody ever answers, there’s not even an option to speak to the store customer service.

Rude cashiers! Very pushy about getting a credit card after I said no FIVE times. After she completed my check out she still kept harassing me about getting approved for a credit card. She even suggested I lie to my husband about getting the card! She went as far as to lay her arm on my bags so I couldnt walk away!! No means no lady!

Shopping at JC Penneys is like shopping in the 1960s. Surprise the stores even sell open it.

I give this store an okay rating because the cashier did not remove all of the security tags off the clothes. So now I have to make a second trip to have some take them off. 🤨

The womens section is a disaster. No organization between styles. Found a dress that I liked in the wrong size, staff said inventory said it was there, couldnt find it because everything was mixed together. If you like shopping at thrift stores, youll have a great time here, because its a similar better hope you luck into it experience.

Jc Penneys has nice clothes. Just went there to check it out and wound up buying clothes i actually needed, cant complain about that.

Same as most of the other franchises under the brand. Lots of variety. I just had 2 concerns. First, I occasionally came across mounds of clothes waiting for someone to put them in order. Second, the wait time at the check out was way too long. There was only 1 cashier despite the fact that the lineup was long.

The portrait studio was....Terrible. They rushed my picture. The props were arranged terribly where they made no sense in the pictures or not even seen. They had bizarre angles. Totally unprofessional and inexperienced. Never again!
