Most of my experience with Best Buy has been salespeople climbing over each other to help you. Today I went in for a dryer and there was only one person working in the appliance section, but she was with another customer. Several employees walked by, but no one seemed interested. When the young lady finished helping the other person, she came over to me. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I bought a dryer. When I came back to pick it up, two guys brought it out to my SUV. It would only fit sideways, so they put it in straight and left it sticking out so the doors wouldnt close. They quickly said, Have a good one and ran back inside. It was raining pretty hard, so I guess that they would melt. I wrestled it in by myself. The decent review is for the young lady (unfortunately I dont know her name) who helped me in the store. The other employees did not impress me, and I will probably go somewhere else in the future.
DONT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!! The Best Buy in Woodbridge, Virginia has terrible customer service. I went in there expecting to purchase a top of the line TV with sound system. My wife was there with me to purchase a new phone. I had numerous questions for the girl at the TV area. She had no answers. She could only refer to the on screen info, which she actually read to me. Like I couldnt do that myself. I asked about the sound bar but she never bothered to turn it on for me. While she went off to look for the information on the computer for me I checked on the wife. While there I asked for assistance on the speakers. The girl there was less than helpful. She was also the one that was supposedly helping my wife purchase the phone. She totally misinformed my wife and she had to return the phone. After a while I went back to see about the TV info I asked for. The girl there was now assisting another customer find a small item on the computer. I waited around for several minutes. She failed to even acknowledge me. I decided Id make my several thousand dollar purchase somewhere else!! What a total WAIST of time!!!!
October 13, 2021 came to Best Buy located in Woodbridge, VA. The customer service is excellent! The Advisor, Marcus, is very professional, and he has a lot of people skills.I am happy with the service. He is patient and nice! He was able to walk me through my questions about the products! I highly recommend him!

Leana the lady at checkout very sweet asked if everything went well and if I found everything I needed. No problems at all when I needed help overall great experience and great customer service !

Pricey. To be fair though I dropped in with no information deals were or werent going on. If you are looking for appliances trust me their team is knowledgeable and eager to assist you. In the Electronics (laptops specifically) however, there for over an hour and the reps were busy with other customers. TBH, they didnt seem particularly eager to assist young shoppers. Saw two different sets of people leave while waiting and looking at one laptop that I assume they wanted assistance with. There for over an hour and each time an older couple or shopper stopped in staff seemed to become free to assist them.
I recently purchased a refrigerator with this location. I scheduled an appointment for a delivery and the removal of my prior fridge. The first delivery, the fridge was defective, not being properly bolted in. Then, it was returned, causing me to schedule a new appointment. The second time which was earlier this week on July 5th, they brought the fridge and claimed it would not fit through my basement door. They told me I would need to disassemble my door so they can bring it inside. I cannot take apart my standard issue door and put it back together for them, that isnt my job, its their job to figure out how they should properly do the assigned task. I was also in the middle of an important work meeting and I had to ask my son to supervise the delivery. Ive also had the same Best Buy location deliver my older refrigerator, so I am not sure why this is the case. Before, they took apart the fridge, brought it in piece by piece and installed it accordingly. I tried to explain that to the installation team, and they wouldnt buy it at all. The way they even spoke to me felt degrading and ridiculous. They really need to learn some manners and do their jobs correctly.
Phil has the absolute WORST customer service. Cant depend on a manager for fair service of incompetent employee. Called corporate who transferred me to local best buy where phil then proceeded to hang up on me. No gaste su dinero en este local que el hdp no sirve para nada

Eian back in the Magnolia section was phenomenal. He walked me through several comparable products offering his expertise and opinion without being pushy. He was also VERY patient while I sorted out some bank issues on two different occasions.
Best Buy is the first place I go to to start my search for electronics. More recently, however, there seem to be fewer options, which is probably due to peoples change in shopping habits and needs.
Wish I could give 0 stars. The manager said I couldn’t exchange the game even though it clearly says I can with 14 day period. He then refuse to price match as well. He seemed to use his position to humiliate me and give me suggestions about how it okay for me to gift an open item. He suggested I call customer service because he didn’t want to help me anymore. Now when I called customer service they said the only place to exchange is in store. Kind of a problem with when the store manager refuses to help you. He seemed to feel really good telling me to get out.
Sales staff aggressively wasted our time attempting to upsell us a new TV when the product we had purchased online was not in the advertised condition. At best this was poor customer service and bad inventory management. At worst this was false advertising to get consumers in the door in order to be sold a different product. I will no longer be trusting Best Buy with my business.

Really bad. Terrible customer service with little interest in interacting with customers. I shopped ahead online to see what was in stock and none of what I found online was apparently in stock. As I shopped, at least 5 employees walked around me actively avoiding engagement. The guy in the computers couldnt be bothered to look up from his cell phone to actually talk to customers (30 mins walking through the computers without looking up), and when he was in front of someone he was still staring at his phone and only giving the shortest possible answers to the immediate question - not actually helping anyone find anything. Ultimately, the computer I bought did not work and I ended up shopping Amazon anyway.Havent been to a Best Buy in a long time, and this visit made me question my decision to do so in the future. Definitely will not return to the Woodbridge location.

TJ was amazing when he brought my PC out. It was pouring down raining and he still remained courteous and professional. The next day I picked up my foodi and again it was raining the young lady did not kay it flat in the trunk like I asked her but she probably didnt hear me because she was telling me I shouldve parked in curbside. I parked. Lose because again it was raining and the curbside was all full with cars that did not have occupants. I know things go seamless when everyone follows protocol but had I waited for someone to return to their car I wouldve been inconvenienced for what I had lined up to do later. I tried to tell her that it was full but she walked away while I was talking smh. Tj then her was a HUGE difference like night and day smh.
Spoke with a sales associate in electronics to locate the Sonos arc sound bar. They answered all my questions and helped me checkout. It was a very respectful interaction.
This Best Buy is trash. Items are either out of stock or locked behind glass with nobody with a key around. Save yourself the time and order it on Amazon.
Delivery went well the last couple of times. I just moved into my home and needed a washer and dryer. The guys that delivered my washer and dryer left some handprints on the walls, which was a bit bothersome. Thankfully they arent all over the place.
Customer service young lady Hispanic with glasses is one miserable employee you have there. Everyone is very friendly there except for that person. This is my second time dealing with her this is why I am writing this. She doesnt look at you while talking. She doesnt hardly speak only says huh rolls her eyes. Something is seriously wrong with her get her off Customer service put her to bathroom cleaning duties.
TLDR: Do not buy online and use this location as a pick up location.I purchased a TV on bestbuy.com that was listed as unboxed: excellent condition at this location. As per the website, excellent condition items contain all original parts (except the owners manual or registration cards). I tried to call the store to get additional information on the item (such as whether or not it had packaging and what the dimensions of the box were), but when you call the stores number, you receive an automated message that informs you the location is not accepting calls, and offers to put you in a general help que. But whatever; the unboxed excellent category has traditionally been a way to find sweet deals in the past and the TV was $300 off, so I got a buddy to lend me a hand/his vehicle and we made the drive to the store (it was a large TV). When the associates came out to load the TV, not only did it have no packaging (not a deal breaker), it was missing the remote control and the stand (read: objectively not as advertised). The sales associate offered to give me half off on a remote, but the stand is something I would have to buy separately and used from a third party (because it is a proprietary part). So at this point, I have to spend more money than the original purchase in order to have a functioning TV, and Best Buy does not carry the stand I need, so there is no way I am taking the TV home and using it same-day as planned which is pretty disappointing. Then the sales representative asked if I would be interested in checking out any new TVs since they offer home delivery, but they did not have the TV I was trying to purchase new at the store, so this was also not a real option. The they offered to sell me another TV... I am an informed buyer; I understand the technology, know what features are important to me, and I had decided on this TV after doing a significant amount of market research. At this point, I was honestly a little insulted, but I asked if they could hold the TV for a few days so I could figure out options for the TV stand etc. This was not something that could be done easily or without the assistance of multiple associates at the store. At this point, between the hour drive to the store and the 30 minutes we waited for loading only to have a different product than what I ordered show up at my car, I decided BestBuy had wasted enough of my time and I eventually just asked for a refund, left the TV at the store and left (for another hour+ drive home).I voiced my unhappiness with the difference from the products listed description online vice its actual condition pretty politely at the time, but the more Ive thought about the transaction, the angrier Ive become. I am pretty convinced the item is listed in the advertised (not actual) condition to get people to come into the store so they can try to use a loss-leading sales tactics to upsell you on a new TV -- thats definitely where our conversation ended up. Im sure nothing will come of it, but Ill be reaching out to Best Buy and the BBB to report the issue. Not only will I never shop at this location again, Im probably done with Best Buy as well; youre better of paying list price on Amazon and having it delivered; at least they wont try to up sell you and waste hours of your time. Also, be wary of open box deals on Best Buy.
Had to wait 50 minutes for service only to be told the product I want was not in stock, in spite of there being no indication of that fact on the product display.
The associate helped me get what I needed. Informative and was able to recommend things to go with the purchase.

Fake and fraudulent advertising! Lied about free installation of an XM tuner after spending 45 minutes online with Geeksquad who repeatedly confirmed that it was free and available at this location. They wanted me to go to another location 1 hour away and spend $300.

None of these Best Buys stock any major appliances anymore. They are ALL showrooms for a ‘just-in-time,’ inventory system that’s currently suffering supply chain issues for many types of appliances.

Nice attentive sales reps in the time if COVID. They greet you up front and offer you masks, hand sani, and offer to point you in the direction of what you are seeking. The store is clean and neat. I subtracted a star because, once I told the rep I was interested in possibly purchasing and replacing home appliances for a labor day special, there could have been some follow up. I recommend the staff already have the items picked out by brand and by best ratings to make it easier for them to take your money. They would make more sales. I likely would have purchased here if they had made it easier for me to review the items faster.

This was my first time visiting this location so Im going to been generous with my 3 star review. After an unsuccessful visit to one of their sister stores and not finding what was supposedly in stock I fought 25 miles of stop and go interstate traffic to get to this location. Upon arriving I went straight to the department I came to get an item from. After searching the section and having no luck, I had to stop the 4th employee that was walking around aimlessly passing time for them to say it might be in the back and they would check for me. Alas they returned and said the system count must be off here too. I decided to try my luck and wait in line at customer service for the person to see if they could check, we ended up back in the department and then back up in the front of the store where they checked some cages and found the product in question. Overall it was a victory for me but next time I might just order online and avoid the headache.
Couldnt get anyone to help for over 30 minutes and then the sales associate who was supposed to help was not helpful at all. There was a lack of knowledge about the product and then he tried to sell a different product. Im being generous with 2 stars

Great experience here. The people I talked to were more knowledgeable then your average best buy employee. As knowledgeable as our fellow nerds at microcenter as far as technology knowledge goes. Which is unusual in my experience for best buys.The store is built in a huge warehouse style. This open air feeling makes it a lot more comfortable for shoppers during covid season. The large aisles that are only shoulder level give you the sense of freedom you wont feel when shopping at some place like walmart or target, where people might be shoulder to shoulder in an aisle.As someone who use to suffer from social anxiety before many years of therapy, I can still appreciate 🙏 how nice it feels to not feel like im walking between cramped aisles that are so full of stuff they look like they might fall and crush some old lady at any time.All the employees here are especially nice, everyone was smiling and just had the look of employees that had nice managers that they felt comfortable and relaxed working with. After fifteen plus years working retail I can tell this on sight.All in all a great experience. Its well worth your time coming to a brick and mortor store and remembering what it was like back in the old days when we talked to people, and enjoyed shopping and looking at stuff, as opposed to the lazy amazon purchases we make now adays.If I could have given them more stars I would. Great job guys.

It’s a Best Buy in Northern Virginia. Not much else to say, but if you’re not from the area, that pretty much means employees may be competent enough to do their jobs, but aren’t going to be overly friendly or enthusiastic about it. Take a number, be a number.

Do not use their curbside pickup option - if you dont feel comfortable going into the store, just stick with Amazon. Otherwise youll be stuck sitting in your car in the parking lot for 2+ hours while they repeatedly tell you just 10 minutes.Tip to BestBuy: if you tell someone to drive out to your store because youre ready for them to pick up their items, actually have the items ready for pickup.

During both visits today. I was taken care of promptly, was in and out of the store within an hour. Great customer service by answering all my questions, followed all CDC guidelines for COVID-19 and they made sure to make my visit as comfortable as possible.
If I could give less starts I would. I ordered a Switch for my son and got the confirmation number. Less than a week later I got an email saying something went wrong with my order. I spoke to someone in customer service (Andrew C) who indicated that it was a technical issue on their end but my order was still good and would be ready for pickup on the day scheduled. Now on the day I was I scheduled to pickup somehow my order was canceled. I don’t know what’s going on here but it’s not professional at all. Now no one will answer the phone and it’s not like you can go In the store with everything going on. Totally inconvenient and a waste of my time and money. Now I have no switch and I have to wait 10 days to get my money refunded. BestBuy is doing a horrible job from customer service to technical support and the whole team! NEVER AGAIN!!
Not sure what theyre doing covid wise, but they dont seem to monitor capacity, but the store is very large so not too many people were around each other and there were many signs to promote social distancing which I enjoyed. Unfortunately didnt have the things I needed due to high demand but its alright, they had it online for me and a good employee set that up for me :) I wish I had gotten his name, he was very kind.
Covid makes it difficult to do business now. Do your shopping at home and just come pick up or have delivered. Dont have time to be standing outside on line as they do a head count. I understand WHY but just not in the mood.

I came in to buy a screen protector for s10plus. The first person I talked to was very rude but my day and experience was saved by Ceana, she was friendly asked me what I needed and took time to put on the protective screen on my phone. She was friendly, kind and very professional. I am a long time best buy customer, we buy all our phones and laptops from here and today she saved a customer. Thanks 😊

This is a really good place that has almost everything. Awesome customer service. They always have good sales and a very good original price. I got 3 earbuds for 6 dollars and it is as if any other expensive earbud. It is still in good condition!

This is for online site and delivery feedback. I have been waiting for the delivery of my Samsung TV for over 2 weeks now and I was just called again that my shipment has been pushed back for another 8 days. This is ridiculous since the site said 6 days delivery and now Im going to wait for the TV almost a month. I was not offered compensation or anything that would make this better, honestly I should of spent the extra money at Walmart for the exact same TV. Not sure if my feedback will even go anywhere or just be deleted but this is bad business and next time I will not buy anything from best buy if its not at the physical on-site store. I will make sure to also put this on other reviews to make sure other customers understand what they will be experiencing.
Helpful staff, they knew immediately that they didnt have the one adaptor cord we were looking for (old keyboard to a USB, I dont remember the exact name). But we were able to find a new hard drive and some headphones we like very easily and for a good price.
I went to Best Buy in Woodbridge, Virginia to pick up a few items and purchase a screen protector for my phone. The customer service for installing my screen protector was absolutely horrible. I am returning to the store to speak to a manager, and get a refund. I dont u derstand why all the people who work in the store are too busy to help customers. I walked around for a while to get assistance. I am not planning on shopping g there again.

Quick and efficient curbside delivery
This stores assistant manager, Kirk, would lie to his mother in order to sell her a TV.... Dont trust a word out of his mouth. In fact, just avoid Best Buy altogether because when my complaint was sent to the corporate office, they didnt even take the time to investigate it. They just assumed Kirk was a perfect little angel.

Went to get my curbside pickup, and I saw they gave my television to another customer while waiting in the parking lot. They indicated the orders had the same number (I dont believe that), indicated same name (impossible). Waited for a 1H30M to resolved the issue.Manager issued me a gift card for the issues (reason why it got 3 star vs less, granted, the gift card wasnt much)

Terrible pickup experience; had to wait in line for nearly 25 minutes (only 1 cashier) once I get my box I asked this guy with yellow shirt If I could use a hand truck to take my order and Im told to go back in line to be helped. I ask politely that the line had over 13 customer and 1 cashier and I waited 25 minutes already, but this guy with yellow shirt said there is nothing I could do, he also refused to call a manager I had to stay there until he decided to leave his phone and call a manager referring me as a problem customer.This is by far the worst customer service I have encounter at Best Buy.
