This place is amazing.....a staple of the city.... km from oxford and make the weekly trip to Fairway for the meat packages. My favorite hands down glare the Honeymoon Steaks. you can cut them with a spoon. The chicken breast are huge....youll think where the hell are there chickens this big?

I first heard about Fairway Beef several years ago from a friend of mine who lived in Worcester. He boasted that they had the best quality & freshest meats & how he had been a loyal customer for years. He said not only did they have excellent meat, but with great prices & he was right! He also told me that many of the local restaurants get their meat from Fairway & once I tried it, I could see why. I have shopped there many times & have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly, efficient & helpful. They are clearly familiar with working in a busy setting & waste no time taking customers orders & preparing them as quickly as possible! They have a nice selection @ their Deli & they also have meat packages for low prices. Whether you are looking for steaks, ground beef, pork, ham, hot dogs, sausage & more, they have it all. Also you can find items in their frozen section such as large bags of French fries & chicken nuggets for a great value. They have produce as well & other items such as condiments for purchase. They make check out as quick & easy as possible too & also accept EBT Snap benefits (aka food stamps). When I brought my young daughters with me, the man working the Deli offered them each a free slice of cheese. It really is an awesome place with that classic old school vibe. They have plenty of parking & its set up in a way that makes shopping a breeze. Even since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, I have shopped here & the staff was sure to be quick to complete customers orders so that we didnt have to stand close to each other & could get our shopping done in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend Fairway Beef to anyone looking for value & quality. Another thing I should mention is that the temps are a bit chilly inside in order to keep food fresh, so you may want to bring a sweater, sweatshirt or light jacket to wear inside.

Best place for fresh meat and more choices than grocery store. Wish there were more of these around! Fresh meat not pumped up with blood or other chemicals used to fool the eye of the freshness of the meat. The butchers there are easy to work with and they are very helpful answering any questions you may have. Highly recommend!

Ive been going to Fairway Beef pretty much since the time I was born. I remember being little & one of the workers would always give me a hotdog or a slice of cheese to munch on. Things have not changed. I brought my daughter there when she was small & received the same treatment. The meat is fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Its been the same level of quality & service all these years. Fairway Beef Rocks!

Best meat market in area. Very busy but lots of help. Their always willing to cut to order and you can call ahead if you need something special. They have boneless budabal hams which are impossible to find. Good deli, great prices for chicken. Fresh produce and usually have homemade hummus. We dont buy meat or poultry any where else.

Fairway has gone through changes recently back to a butcher shop feel. disappointed at the downsizing of groceries items I could literally do all my shopping there from coffee to hygiene. From 🍞 to barbecue grills. From frozen dinners to large assortment of fresh vegetables.... As a former employee of Fairway, who will never go to derricos...

Ive been in here in town for 40 yrs. and I only came to Fairway Beef two months ago, when it was closed, after 3PM. Came back the next day at noon. What I found was its cold in there. Wear a coat and a warm hat. Always a test of a good butchery is the hamburger. I bought 3lbs. Red, dense and fresh all the way through. Got the pork chops. Pink, fresh and well trimmed reminding me of my old days back in Tennessee. I bought the Xlge. eggs. I saw pallets of them and knew the diners came here to buy. Avoided the supermarket thumb squads and got my fresh veggies and ruby fatso beefsteak tomatoes. The prices are the best. Stocked up. Everyone there; customers and workers, were quite friendly. It can get crowded, but thats the way things are and we all did just fine. Checkouts are 50s style with the paper receipt and all. Charming, simple and quick. Service is precise. No, it doesnt carry everything, but who needs that. Since then, Ive bought more with the lesson to come early and on the right day. PS: I put it all in a party cooler in the trunk of the car, take it all home and store it, then go out to the other stores with a list and come back home blaming myself for not buying more at Fairway. Advice? Come to Fairway first, then go elsewhere if you must. Fairway is now my food shopping home. Theres no place like home. Theres no place like home.

Every time I buy meat there it’s always a hit or a miss. Quality and freshness is so inconsistent and I even make sure to check the dates to buy the most recent packed item. Bought a big bag of chicken tenders to make for the Super Bowl, just opened them and they are of course rotten.. surprise surprise... they only sold chicken packed on the 31st... they shouldn’t be bad already. Will never go back here again
