Parts ordered online were accurate and ready quickly. On another order, an online order that didnt go through was quickly checked out and remedied by someone who knew what she was doing.It helps that I only live a couple miles away, but from ordering parts to being back home to install them was about 20 minutes.

Inexperienced staff, unable to locate the tool I needed and what looks to be a manager with ear buds in her ears unaware of whats going on in the store? It was just a waste of my time so I left empty handed!
Product not in stock though internet said it was. CALL THE STORE, INTERNET INVENTORY IS WRONG. THEY SAID THEY COULD HAVE IT IN THREE DAYS THOUGH. I DROVE AN HOUR TO GET TO THIS STORE DUE TO ONLINE INVENTORY ERROR.
Drove across town to the only autoparts place thats open until 10pm to replace a bad battery. Site says 10pm door, says 10pm, but the doors locked and workers are still walking around in the back, pretty sure eye contact was made and they turned around quickly.
The manager, supervisor, whatever he is, condescending and simply rude.
This place is very helpful and courteous. I had no problem returning for a core deposit. Wylie was especially knowledgeable and revoked me even though I was only there once inside.

I’m going to generalize all AutoZone’s together your experience may vary at different locations but this is my experience from the past 20 years and the many times I had no other choice but to purchase something from here.I think most people are fooled by all the commercials they see on TV in the Internet. AutoZone is no way shape or form cheaper than most local parts stores the service is terrible. I’ll give you an example I stopped at an AutoZone on my way to work to pick up a headlight for a car that I was working on later that day at AutoZone the headlight was 18.99 made by Wagner In my mind I was like I don’t remember them headlights being that expensive I had purchased them in the past” but could they really be that expensive” so I returned my car and I called a local parts store that I do business with fairly often and they tell me the same headlight is $3.76 !!!! I was like well of course I’m gonna drive out of my way to get a part that’s almost $15 cheaper. This is only one example but if I was pressed I could give several other examplesIf you want quality parts and good service visit a different parts store.
3 out of 5, I brought back a starter along with a receipt and the dude told me “oh thats the wrong receipt. I believed him because I thought it could of been a battery I bought just recently & I did not read it correctly... Anyways he then moved me to a different cash register for the refund. They then tried to refund me the incorrect amount. He disputed it with the manager and got the correct amount with my original receipt (that was actually the correct one) stay sharp around these sneaky guys.===========================================================Yearly Review UpdateNot much to say I havent been back their since. They dont have staff that can take cash. They actually refused to ring me up while the employee was on hold. The customer he was helping suggested it and he still refused. The people that can check your engine light readings are few so waiting for that took forever. Just let them get their staff back up to normal and maybe they will be better. Until then Im going to Napa right down the street.

He was able to provide me help, provide me all the tools I needed to get my battery out, and go back inside and serve another 5 people. In between myself running in and out the other sales rep wasnt doing half the work he was. Thank you for great service.
Would prefer a bigger store with greater in stock selection but they usually have what I need and the prices are reasonable. Good hours.

Do they carry parts? I was running across town to advance when my son advised me that there was an auto zone near. So I went for a valve and some clamps. The shelves were empty!! When I asked an employee if they were in the back I was told no and that the truck comes tomorrow, I asked your gonna have a truck full of valves and clamps and he then stated probably not and that was it. Didn’t ask what I needed, attempt to call another store, nothing, just a see ya later. That was the safest auto zone I have ever been to.

My son and I walked in and asked for help. There were three young men behind the counter. We showed them what we needed and they literally laughed at us and directed us to aisle 6. When we could not find what we needed and asked for more help they were unable to!! I work in customer service and will NEVER go there again.

The store itself is easy to navigate through. The staff is helpful when it comes to finding parts or looking parts up, but I was under the impression that they would be able to help me install simple items on my car, and that is not the case, so dont expect that when you go to AutoZone. They work in vehicle retail, theyre not mechanics.

Under the hood and below the belts in employees harsh treatment of each other. A poster store for why customers should go to Advanced Auto, Nappa or someplace else. Managers disrespected employees wearing red shirts in front of customers. Slow, almost robotic like service from what appeared to be unhappy employees who either had little to give customers after being down graded my management. Managers appear to have forgotten that it is the customers and their respect and loyality to people; ie, customers and fellow employees, which makes an enviornment people look forward to coming back to. Thank you AutoZone corporate for your response. However you did not address the treatment of your employees by other employees, often questionable leadership on the regional or district management level.

I find that a lot of items here are fairly overpriced, especially compared to online (go figure). But, then again, depending on which location you go to, the staff are usually pretty great and are willing to help. I like being able to go in and ask questions about parts that I would otherwise would have just bought online and maybe regretted getting.
Called for a part, told the woman who answered my cars info and the part I needed. I was put on hold so she could help a customer who walked in after I called. After a reasonable wait time the woman came back on the phone and said yea I repeated the information I originally gave her including that my car is LT which she insisted didnt exist. When I explained that Ive researched this part before and know for sure that my car is LT and the that part exists, she suddenly was able to find the part. Im now going to drive out of my way to find the part elsewhere to avoid further unprofessionalism.

Ive been to the 28th street location (in Wyoming, mi) a few times & each time theyve been incredibly helpful. Tonight I was helped by Ricky & Heather. They were super nice & stood out in the rain to help & didnt make me feel stupid which is super appreciated.
Went in for a headlight bulb this morning. The staff was wonderful and even helped install it. Pretty nice considering the dealership was going to charge me over $100 to do it. Theyve made a customer for life. I cant thank them enough. My advice to everyone is to only buy your auto parts and needs from this Autozone.

The staff appeared to be very green and know little about cars other than what the computer could tell them. The person who helped me provided pretty poor customer service and did not seem happy with his job. I had my check engine light scanned and was offered a print out but no other help. Id rather go to a parts store with an experienced crew even if it means paying more.

I bought a part from the Alpine location and they gave me the wrong one. I called this location because they were the only ones open and explained everything to him and he told me that the alarm gets set at 10 sorry we have to lock it up. Im calling BS couldnt help me out when you guys messed up!! I wouldve been 5 minutes after they close to fix a problem thanks guys 👎🏼
The last 2 times i was there they have not been helpful at all but before that they were the go to place and very very helpful. My rating for them went from 5 star to 3 star.
Seem to have enough staff whenever I go to keep lines short and moving along which is always my biggest complaint about these places.
Some of the workers are very knowledgeable and know what tool is necessary. Bill told me what tool I needed to get the job and I rented it with the rest of the equipment I needed to finish my job. If autozone doesnt have what I need, then I just drive down the road to Napa. They also have quality parts and incredibly knowledgeable staff.
Brought my battery in to be tested because my car wouldn’t start. Came back an hour later because they had to “charge” it and they told me the battery was “good.” Ended up having to tow my vehicle to a repair shop for that shop to call me and tell me my battery is dead and only has 5 voltz when it should have 12. Thanks autozone for wasting my time and causing me to spend more money. Would’ve been just fine with buying a battery from your location. You’ve lost me and my entire family as customers.
Very professional and friendly staff
Only 2 ppl working when they seem to always be busy in the evening but they dont ever put more ppl to work around their evening busy time. Waited over 20 min just to still have to wait to only buy power steering fluid. After 20 min of waiting I left to Advance Auto where I was helped immediately when I walked in the door. And checked out in less then 5 min.

Absolutely worst service I’ve ever had. Ordered a part that was time sensitive said it would be in two days. Waited a week checking in every day. Came in 8 days later and they said it’s not coming don’t know why. Had no solution besides if we wanted to “try again”. Ruined my time frame to get my exhaust on, that broke and didn’t give a single care in the world. Didn’t even say have a good day. Hopefully the manager will call trying to make our experience better. Will go to any other car place when possible.
