I was in a jam with getting paint, I went in into home depot, and the woman working at the paint counter today 10/31am, helped me better than paint stores! I came in with a sample color and she matched it perfectly, and I was out of there in 15 min. Very knowledgeable and very fast. Thank you so much!
Settle down for a story people!So, this all started with my mother having the brilliant idea of going to purchase a gas grill during lunch time on Fathers Day. I was feeling a bit irritable because the day was hot, and there was a LOT of people. Disregarding this, we carried on. Mom started checking out the different grills, which she was gonna buy depending on aesthetic instead of function because she is extra. We settled on a nice little model that was marked down to $129.99 from the normal price of $149.99. All the ones we saw were assembled, but we didnt want it assembled because it wouldnt fit in our car. Then we had the pleasure of running into Jim! He helped us find a boxed grill in the exact model we wanted. Not only that, he told us the difference between buying an empty propane tank and the filled ones outside from the propane kiosk. Well, he got us someone to help us load the grill, then accompanied us with it to the register. We paid for it and the propane, then were helped by another worker to load it into the car. We havent used said grill, but my mom is elated with her experience and wanted me to rave about it online. So thank you Jim and Home Depot!

Great do it yourself store! They carry virtually everything a home improvement pro and amateur alike will need, usually at a reasonable price! It helps if you arrive with knowledge beforehand, you can find a knowledgeable salesperson if you are patient! And remember, they also rent out tools!

I waited 44 minutes to get the cut guy just show up and cut five pieces of wood then I get home measure the pieces that was supposed to be 69 and 3/4 and they were 69 and 1/2 I wanted to pay cash and self-checkout has no cash payments so I got stuck in a nine-person line that was slower than cold molasses my whole trip to the Home Depot took 3 hours I only live a mile and a half away. The store employee told me that the Home Depot is running their employees off by not promoting from within and holding them at the same pay scale when they do. The store sales are paying the price with people walking out because they cant get help. Home Depot you need to tighten up or we will find another place to shop.
Home Depot needs to improve their customer service. This past week I went in to place an order on 5 doors one of which was exterior I chose all of which were in stock and in the store. I called before arriving but when I arrived they were not yet picked out and the exterior door not found. What was supposed to be just a pick up turned to a stressful 1 hour of not knowing where the door was ended up asking for a refund and going back to the door department to choose an even more expensive door all because the job was going to get done that weekend and the door was nowhere because it had been sold. On top of that we asked for help loading them and no one came ended up getting helped by another customer. Thanks Home Depot.
I needed some items to finish my Halloween decorations.Surprisingly they had them.The service was very well handled.
So went in today to find materials for a fence project as well as paint. I had the best experience thanks to Rob from Home Depot at the Union Gap location. He was helpful and experienced. I was able to find everything with ease thanks to him. He gave insightful advice as well helped me feel more confident with how I can do this project. I would to also thank Jonah for helping me alongside Rob with the loading. I will definitely be coming back.

They need better lighting in the store. There are many areas that are dimly lit and hard to see prices and item information. They have lots of stock maybe to much as some areas are hard to access.
Use to shop here frequently, but after years of loyalty, they killed my Veteran status. I never ask for Veteran discounts but I wear military apparel because thats who I am. Also most of employees dont seem to know much about there jobs always looking for some one to answer a question. Been in construction 40 years, sometimes Ill ask a easy question just to see a response. Its comical most times!

On their way out of town, my wife and sister-in-law utilized the curbside pickup option for a recent purchase at Home Depot. When the order was ready, they would forward the confirmation to me so that I could collect the item(s). If I am not mistaken, designated parking spots for curbside pickup at most other businesses include a phone number so that customers can share required information to store employees i.e., name, order number, location of vehicle, etc. Home Depots procedure for curbside pickup is pretty straightforward which uses a link inside a received e-mail or their app to finalize the process. No phone number exists anywhere on the signs. My experience with curbside pickup required the order number and name of pickup person be given to the employee. Occasionally verification of a phone number or address might be requested. Because I didnt make the purchase through my existing account, I didnt have any link to accomplish anything. My sister-in-law used her account which required her to check in via a link and since she wasnt immediately available, I waited in the parking lot for a period of time until everything was sorted out. This pandemic is far from over and due to this new variant, certain areas throughout the country are again mandating masks. With that said, curbside and contactless delivery are much safer methods and for which I am extremely grateful that these options exist! I believe Home Depot can tweak, alter, amend and/or improve their curbside process that will definitely improve the experience for customers and possibly increase efficiency.

By far, the worst customer service ever. There is absolutely no accountability no matter how big your order is. I ordered windows over a month ago and its been a week since they were supposed to be delivered and I still have no idea where is my window. I had to cancel my kitchen cabinets, the rep put in the incorrect info which caused a major issue with the order. I also had to reorder the external door, after couple months of waiting it came damaged. At first, I was told to just keep it and theyd replace the parts. I had to go to the store to get my money back and re-order again.
Didnt have what I needed and couldnt get a clerk to help me locate it to save my life. But the clerk working at the self checking was very helpful and friendly.
Guy at entrance told us what aisle... bah-hahaha..he didnt have a clue. Next guy was more helpful
At time of closing the only register open couldnt couldnt take cash unless it was exact change. Had no bags. That made it very difficult to carry out my purchases.
Be aware that their website will say that they have items in stock and they will not be in stock when you go to the store. And yes I checked the location I checked the item I triple checked to make sure it was in stock before I made the drive into town. When I get to the store they do not have the product and when an employee was asked they informed me that I have to dig deeper into the app to find out if they really have item in stock. And the clerk was less than sympathetic and she stated matter of factly implying that it was my fault that I did not check further. Yeah very rude. But shes right why would I expect the website to tell me accurate information? How crazy of me.
It sucked no help walked away empty haned after a long hot drive to get there..and told to go to a different store.

Sometimes its hard to find someone in the correct department to help you. When something expensive (like a vacuum) is locked up and you want to buy it... you must be patient. Otherwise a large depot and friendly employees

Great experience with the customer service staff today. Someone had misplaced part of my order. Instead of wasting my time standing around, the gentleman helping me offered to take down my number and call me as soon as he found it.
Just purchased a chainsaw from the rental tools. Asked the mechanic if he would be able to take the time to remove the muffler and spark plug for me so I could take a look at the piston. Not only did he do it he also answered my questions and was even able to help me find where I could download a owners manual. By far one of the most helpful employees Ive ever met. Thank you Austin. Your badass so keep it up man!
Last year I spent nearly $15,000 at Home Depot. I will not be shopping there anytime soon. This is the second time I have ordered a product and the store forget to call and tell me it is in. When I called they say oops we forgot. The next issue is I ordered a fridge for our newly constructed home. Home Depot delivered the wrong fridge. Instead of being willing to solve the issue they said sorry it’s in back order again, if you want it it will be 2 months. Needles to say I canceled my order and ordered a fridge from my local appliance store. At this point I would rather pay more than to deal with Hone Depot.

So disappointed! Ordered a shower pan it had a busted front corner right out of the box. Decided to order another one, bigger, cause we had to take the first back anyway. Right out of the box it has TWO busted corners. On top of that my husband was over charged cause the cashier couldnt find the price of another item. When my husband asked if he was sure he had the right price the cashier was very rude to him for questioning him. This is certainly not the first time weve been irritated with home depot but this is the first time Ive been irritated enough to share with eveyone.
Great place for garden and lawn stuff. It’s all off to the side of the store so you don’t even have to go through the main entrance. Everything you need to keep everything green.
They got some new employees who have no idea what Home Depot sells. But if you know what you need the depot has it. One of the employees told my elderly mother they didnt sell water sealer for wood there! Hahahaha Heres the water sealer. Hopefully the employee will see this. I did inform management.
It would be nice to have customer service be a higher priority than it is. I worked for Eagle Hardware back in the 90s and I long for a day to have an employee say anything to me, much less offer help, assuming I see an employee. Its really an unacceptable reality but one that none of the retailers seem to care about. The selection is good and the store isnt dirty so its not completely negative but I keep thinking I need to go work for them, show by example what customers are really looking for.
It was horrible! Was looking for a coat rack with a wooden back and 3 hooks to attach to theAsk 2 different sales people, one sent meTo a wrong Isle, the other one told me to go to Hobby Lobby.Should have went to Lowes
They didnt have string of pearls or boyfriends but there was plenty of other things to pick from if youre not needing those two things.
Have what I needed but people not always knowledgeable about what they have or where to find it. Be ready to wander around looking.

Picking out pergo flooring and carpet was a breeze with the help of the flooring department staff. They were very knowledgeable and helpful and made what could have been very stressful, an easy and stress-free experience.
They still have issues with having somebody in tools, to help you. Last guy I found, diddnt seem to happy about having to show me where, to find it. Still like the prices.
Came here to find paint and supplies to re-do a door and baseboards... I tried looking myself and was feeling frustrated and bam - Meiko walks up and saves the day! She was patient and answered all of my questions, helped me find the right paint and supplies, and was super nice. Great person to have representing the company. Give her a raise Home Depot!!

Easy to find right off the freeway and had no problems picking out everything we needed for our project. We purchased a bunch of siding and it was a better price than everything else we could find so we drove the extra distance to get it from Home Depot.
I asked if they had watermelon plants for sale they said there was none and when I went up there for other items I noticed there was watermelon plants that same day and when I asked why they told me they said there was none they said they move things around a lot. all vegetables and plants are sold in the same place (farmers market) section they just didnt want to look for them and when I asked if they could please check Im driving far just to get them they were mad cuz they have to do their job so I got lied too also everything has been such low quality Im never going back got windows from them and they are so flimsy now the windows dont stay up I have to put a stick to prop it up when I open and close the windows I bought from them you can hear the spring and metal clanging around like its going to break and they did but after I put them in the wall Ive only had them for a few months windows I bought 15 years ago still work course I didnt get them from home depot

The Yakima store has bad customer service. Never any cart because they are all tied up with curbside orders. I always have to look for an associate to assist me and most of the times I cant find anyone. I ask an associate to help me and the first thing they say is let me call someone from this department and 9 out of 10 times they forget. I love shopping at home depot but if they dont improve soon Lowes will be getting me as a customer. I spend a lot of money every year. Not trying to be rude but a little more customer service is a need. Thank you
Flashing for my roof showed on my email that it arrived Saturday, went to pick up parts, HD unable to find one of the two parts. The flashing is 10ft long, shouldnt be that hard to find. It is now Wednesday, still unable to find my part. Ive called everyday day twice a day and I keep getting same run around. Today again they will call me back. Every day they said thay would call me back. Never a phone call back. Ive ask if they could just re order, apparently that is too much to ask. Im not holding my breath. Time to check Lowes.

Absolutely horrible. I made my purchase online for a water heater that none if the stores carry. I have been waiting since February 1st. The dates for arrival keep changing. Was supposed to be at the Yakima store on February 16th. It is now the 17th and still hasnt showed up at the store. Best part is the tracking said it went to the Kennewick store. Come to find out it didnt even show up there because it wasnt supposed to. So now no one knows where its at. I called Yakima store 3 times today. Both people were extremely rude and didnt care to help. Talked to the manager who said shed call me back and never did. Im not impressed with this store nor their customer service. Its horrible. Kennewick store helped me more and looked into it and I called only once.

The store is always a mess, its hard to find someone to help me, the people who work there often dont know anything helpful, the selection of products is quite small & some of the items I purchased were mislabeled so I didnt have the correct size (package said 3/8 but they were 1/2) which left me without water in my bathroom until I had time to get the right item. I still have the wrong parts cuz I havent had the time to return them. Also, I got the fixtures for my bathrooms here, where there was only 3-4 styles to choose from. I saw the exact item at Lowes for the same price but I could have had lots more styles to choose from at Lowes. So Im not gonna waste my time goin to Home Depot cuz Lowes is cleaner, has more to choose from & the staff is much more knowledgeable, plus its closer to my home.
Great service. Even was offered a cold bottle of water from Kyle for my husband who was a bit exhausted. Wished we could tell his boss how much we enjoyed doing business at Home Depot because of Kyle.

Purchased some tile from the Yakima store. Didnt get enough. Went back and Yakima store doesnt have any more. Wont deliver because closes store that has it is over 25 miles away. So must purchase at the store which is almost 100 miles away. Will be taking my business elsewhere

Well I ordered online so I get to the store and they said it was ready. It was not ready or on the end where your Lumber in drywall is at they had it all the way on the other side of the garden center and had me running around for about 30 minutes wasting my job time. Im not very happy Im very very much considering on moving to Lowes. Very dissatisfied.
