My husband and I did our research and knew exactly what we wanted when we walked in today. Jim saw us looking at a microwave (you still have to look, even when you know what you want!) and walked over to help us. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He easily could have rushed the sales process since we knew what we wanted, but he still took the time to explain the cool features and even gave us some helpful tips we wouldn’t have thought of for keeping the stove looking nice! Not to mention, he had some great stories that had us laughing! Thank you for the great service—we can’t wait for our new appliances!

We found BEMIS to be perhaps the only place in Yakima where we could actually experience how an induction stove works. We bought one based on the ability of Bemiss staff to give us a demonstration.

I wanted to support a local business and ordered an appliance from them in December instead of going through Lowes or HD. The ETA was early January at the time. Long story short, the date kept getting moved out and at the end of Feb still no delivery and the new date was early March. Now, I understand that the industry got backlogged due to Covid - not their fault. My problem is that I had to do all the following up when dates were missed. Not once did I get a call notifying me it would not arrive on time. Not once did they suggest another manufacturer that wasnt as behind. When I mentioned this to sales they basically told me yeah we cant keep track of all these orders. Thats just poor business management and will not be rewarded with my hard earned dollars. I got a refund and drove to Lowes - issue resolved same day (admittedly with a different manufacturer). Maybe Ill give Bemis a chance again some day but probably not for quite a while.

Not crazy about their customer service. No one greets you at the door, which is okay, as you might want to browse. However, no one asked if they can help me after I did my browse. When I finally said something, all 4, yes 4, salesmen (sitting at their desks, one eating) stared at me. There was one other customer in the store.But, because of *2020* we ordered what we needed in order to support a local business.The follow up call today (a day later) from the salesman was sorry I didnt get back to you yesterday (day I was there), we were slammed. Remember there were two customers (that includes me) in the store when I was there, and I called back within the hour to PAY.So, support local, just dont expect good customer service.

Prices too high went in to look for a microwave and the price was 60.00 more then other places.

Knowledge is power.... by far the most knowledgeable sales force, period, in our valley. They know their products pros and cons in helping you decide what best fits your needs. We have purchased numerous appliances from this family business and have never been disappointed. And they service what they sale!! The customer service is above and beyond exceptional!! I called asking for help in locating a part for my washing machine as I was attempting to fix it myself. I emailed pics.. not totally sure what I was looking for. Joyce looked up the part consulted with the tech.. they ordered the part and it was in the next day!! They also called me as soon as the part was in. When I picked up the part every person in the store was very friendly and encouraging that I could accomplish the repair on my own and if I needed any help to call them. They even followed up to see how my results were! I was successful!! All my future appliances needs will be done with Bemis Appliance! Bemis Appliance located in Yakima, WA is open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm. Bemis Appliance has tried numerous times and ways to get Google to update hours on this listing with no success.

Ive been working with Beemis almost exclusively the last decade. Occasionally I have bought something at another vendor but what you get with Beemis is almost the exact same pricing as the bigger vendors but Beemis has much better service. Dont waste your time standing in an aisle waiting for help, on hold, or for the delivery. They pick up your old stuff, they deliver and install, and last, if something ever does break they have a repair service as well.

We chose Bemis because we wanted to get the appliance sooner then the 7 to 10 days that the competitor promised. The price of the appliance was $50 more but we were willing to do today we were told it would be another week before we would get.Very disappointed.

Very helpful place to go not like other box stores we went right away they helped us with what we were looking for in are price range and next day delivery.

Bemis has been around as long as I can remember. I had never used them personally, but several family members had. I came in looking for a new range. Id done my research and had it narrowed down to 3 possible option. Rick was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer my dorky technical questions. When narrowed down to a Samsung and a GE, they highly recommended the GE. After talking with several people there over a few days, it sounds like GE is their most recommended brand. For GE items, they are a factory direct supplier. This means that they dont stock the ranges, but they put in orders every Monday, receive them on Wednesday, and deliver them Wednesday/Thursday. For me, I put in an order on a Wednesday and received the deliver a week later.On delivery day, Bemis called and said they would give us a 15-20 minute notice that the delivery guys were en route. They hauled our broken range away and disposed of it. The delivery guys did smell like an ash tray walked into your house, but they did a good job. Theyre not overly talkative, but theyre cordial and willing to answer any questions that you have - but I can respect some guys who are there to get their business done and move on!One of the big upsides to using Bemis is that they do their own repair. If you have a major issue, theyve got knowledgeable staff that is available to fix your issue. If its within the warranty period, theyll take care of everything for you. If not, youll have to pay - but it looks like prices are in line with local competitors.Sale prices are a tad more than the big box home stores ($25 on a $775 range) and they charge a small delivery cost ($25-$50), but Im willing to pay a tad more to support local business! Check out Bemis, you wont be let down!
