Good food. Great service. A little pricy

Went here for a date night with my wife. We sat at the bar and had some good local brews and ate. I had the ahi and she had a salad. We both left really happy with the experience.

I highly recommend this place!Ive only been here once, and I can confidently say they have some of the best food in town!The Garlic Roasted Mushrooms and Fried Brussels Sprouts appetizers were cooked to perfection. They both had a perfect balance of flavors, seasons and presentation was great! I took my servers suggestion and ordered the Buddha Bowl with Ahai tuna, it was one of best bowls Ive ever had.I cant say enough good things about the food at this place!! Atmosphere was a buzz, staff was excellent and friendly, layout was nice and the restrooms were clean! Ill definitely be making it back to go through the rest of the menu and work on the cocktails.

The food was good. Our appetizers: goat cheese and the cauliflower were significantly better that our entrees (ahi tuna and day salad w chicken) which was a bit disappointing. The cocktails were VERY good, dessert was average. The service was EXCELLENT! I would definitely return but with less expectations about the food.

I loved all the food that my family and I got there. Expect one of the top meals you have ever eaten, no matter what you get. I got the burger, and tried the pasta and the fish. They where all super good especially the burger.

This place has a ton of awesome reviews and me and my wife were excited to try it. We got there and were told 20-30 minutes before we could be seated, so we waited. After 35 minutes we asked how much longer and the server told us it’d be another 30 but they stopped seating in 10. So we got told to leave after waiting for over 30 minutes.Not impressed, letting us know the situation before we had waited so long would have gone a long way.

Provisions is definitely aimed for a trendy crowd. It has the dark colors and open ceiling common on places today. The front opens up providing both outdoor seating as well as fresh air for its patrons. They opened last year in order to bring some farm fresh food to the Yakima Valley. They also have a market that I didnt have a chance to visit.The food was good, if not really unique. I ended grabbing a shiitake burger from their fresh lunch menu. Its a deceptively easy food that shows me a lot about a place. I ordered it rare because chefs often overcook burgers. This one, unfortunately, was closer to medium. It was flavored wonderfully, though. The fries could have used a little pinch of salt. None the less, they were still good and cut in an interesting way. Somewhere between curly fries and steak fries.The service was spot on, very polite and welcoming. They managed to tow the line between great service and too much service very well. The food was priced about what youd expect for a place like this.I would love to give them a five-star review, but there are a couple little things nagging at me. Ill definitely be back and I would recommend it to a friend. I think 4.5 stars would be very fair. I think its worth checking out for yourself.

Love their gluten free, dairy free, vegan options are all labeled on the menu. And there are a lot of options. The fresh sheet changed regularly and always has a nice variety. Good Bar, Excellent food, but not cheap. Great place for a date with the spouse.

First time here. Had great expectations. Was empty so we figured it would be quick. Food was really good. ( Except the crab pineapple wontons, yuk! ) only gave 1 star because after the hostess sat us near the bar, our waitress took our order, brought the food, and we never saw her again. We had to ask another staff for another drink. The bartender had to bring our bill. Lots of staff but sadly we had awful service. Dont think well try them again.

I really enjoyed the drinks food could have been better for what they charge great vibe great service the only thing I would suggest is working on the food a bit or maybe I just havent tried what theyre known for crab wonton mango thing was kind of a disappointment. Sat evening 8 of us for dinner. It took a good hour to get our food.Food was Luke warm.Not a good experience.

Our waitress Nikki was perfect and she was knowledgeable about the wines. Really great experience.We had the charcuterie board which was a work of art all on its own. I would suggest you ask for a couple of small forks and a small cheese knife to go with it. Very happy and looking forward to coming back.

The fryer brussel sprouts the best. For dinner I had Prawn scampi couldnt finish had to take left overs home with my cream cheese 🍰 I highly recommend the place.

Poor service. It wasnt crowded at all. Had to ask the busboy to get our waitress so we could place our order. Didnt get our appetizer. Waitress didnt seem to careFood was ok, nothing special. The description on the menu sounded a lot better than the food tasted.

The Food is delicious whichever plate you choose. If you are unsure go for the Crispy chicken sandwich with spicy honey butter. It wont disappoint. Also ambiance is nice allowing for private dining and conversations. Make sure to set up a reservation for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone.

Was here last week visiting on a work trip from Olympia and had an amazing experience. Met the owner and had a pleasant conversation as well as an enjoyable impromptu opera performance by one of his friends. The food was great, the atmosphere was inviting and the service was impeccable. Our waiter had no issues with my weird requests and even ran my food out to me when I forgot it like a dunce. If Im ever in Yakima again, Ill be sure to hit this place up.

Dont be scared of the swanky looks, there are deals to be had. You can also wear casual if you desire. The food is a nice change from your standard burgers and fries. I would recommend it highly.

Amazing food in a great atmosphere with awesome service. We had a large group (12 or 15) and all the food arrived in less than 30 mins and all at once so no one was left waiting! No matter what you were drinking, your glass was never empty. The staff is very attentive but almost invisible. I wish I knew the name of our waitress so I could give a shout out but the whole experience was like a tune from a Lego movie...everything was awesome!

I was so disappointed in my dinner. I’m from Oregon visiting my daughter in Yakima. She’d heard positive things about provisions and wanted to try it. Her husband had the Mac n cheese which was decent. The tomato bisque was not smooth and way too salty. The chicken salad presentation was dull and the ingredients bland. TheChicken was plopped on top and without seasoning. The Gorgonzola dressing was good. The beet salad was disgusting swimming in oil with a limited number of sliced beets and way too much raw garlic We won’t be back but glad others enjoy it.

The vibe is nice. The food lacks flavor for me. I dont eat a lot of salt but here, I end up adding. Then there are some thats too salty or undercooked... i do love their mushrooms. Best dish.

I hate to give a local restaurant a bad review but the food was not good.The tomato basil bisque soup was excessively salty. I ordered the beet salad from the seasonal menu that was $14 and I was served under two ounces of mandolin beets swimming in a bitter, raw garlicky bed of oil. Fortunately they refunded it, but not before they told me how much someone else enjoyed it. In the end, it’s overly priced for bad food. The ambience was notably better than the food.

Not your ordinary fare. Food was good. Portions filling. Well prepared. Service was above average on an ordinary weekday lunch. Price commensurate with quality and venue. Liked it.

Went for brunch after family photos. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious! I had the champagne and chicken, which was their take on chicken and waffles. A nice crunchy warm waffle with bacon and cheddar and a juicy cut of fried chicken breast on top notch warm maple syrup. I have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner as well and recommended the brussel sprouts appetizer.

Delicious, simple, exquisitely prepared food in a industrial-casual-chic environment. Excellent place for brunch! A constantly changing menu of fresh local items as available or in season. Excellent full bar with lots of interesting cocktails to explore. Friendly efficient staff, and a friendly accessible Chef who will come out and engage with the clientele. Definitely check out this new fabulous place, it truly represents the future of the new Yakima Valley experience.

Uneven quality of food and service. So much potential! Some of the flavors were world class. I had the GF crab cakes. Great flavor but very cold inside. Disappointing. I ordered a rib steak. The grilled vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes were fabulous but I ordered a medium rare steak and my steak was instead so red that it was also cold inside. So we were given two free desserts to make up for the raw steak and a box so I could take the steak home and cook it some more (!?!) Both of the desserts were tasty but the pavlova was missing the strawberry preserves said to be in the middle. I mentioned to our waiter that it was missing an ingredient and he claimed ignorance of the dessert menu. So sad for an expensive restaurant. Please do better Provisions! You have such potential for greatness. Not sure if we will go back. We spent $165 with tip. Thats a lot for a disappointing experience.

Great place good atmosphere. Service coulda been better. Waitress didnt check on us frequently but Ill go a second, give her the benefit of the doubt. Prices and portions are reasonable.

Went here for date night with the wife. The service was great, and the food was amazing. My wife loved the vegan options, and happy that theres another place we can have date night with food options for her. Let us know when you add more vegan dishes, and we will definitely come try them out.

Below average for price. Waiter who could care less if we needed anything or was happy with our meals. Had to ask for items listed on menu as coming with entree or appetizers. Disappointed overall and was hoping for more or at least average. Was seated in bar despite reservations although restaurant nearly empty. Would not recommend to friends.

Our first time. The food was delicious. You can tell a lot of extra attention to detail in preparing this food. The atmosphere nice. Went right at 5:00 on Saturday. Service a little slow. Overall loved it and will go back.

First Time here and to attend an event however, We Will Be Back as the food was absolutely PHENOMENAL and everyone in attendance was all talking about how excellent their food was! Couple Very High Recommendations would be The Brussel Sprouts & Curry Cauliflower where I could have eaten just a bowl of those each however, I opted to have a Burger to boot and it was excellent. Everything seemed to have a bit of a Provisions Flair about it and thats a Great Thing! Thank You for making me now want to mirror your Brussel Sprout dish at home as well and Thanks for the Great Food and Great Service! 👏👏👏👏👏

WOW, the food was exceptional! Coming from the Portland, the Foodie capitol of the Northwest, the selection and quality of the food was lovely. Fresh ingredients! Healthy and varied choices! Vegetarian options that were excellent, not just a nod to meat free diners!This is a place to savor in Yakima. Service was slow and inexperienced, but more than compensated for by the quality of the menu and food itself. Hopefully, once the service staff is more experienced, or otherwise encouraged to be attentive and knowledgable, this will be the perfect dining experience in Yakima.

I went into the Market side of the restaurant today; was my first time there. The atmosphere was great! They do coffee, custom salads and fresh made daily sandwiches and wraps and even have other neat things that you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else. For lunch, I had the Roast Beef Havarti sandwich. They offered to heat press it for me and even added bacon to my sandwich when i asked nicely. I paid a little more for the sandwich but oh my gosh...this is by far one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had; ever. They have punch cards for return visitors and I promise; I’ll be back again.

Great dinning experience. We where out of town visitors and our server Chelsea made us feel like family. The food was very good. We had the pasta (amazing) and the house burger (beacon from heaven) plus a side salad. We eat out a lot in Portland/Vancouver and know a great restaurant when we find it. This is just that, a great dinning experience. Thank you Provisions & Chelsea for delivering the Wow.

Normally love this place. The restaraunt is great. This time, i just went to the market to get a quick sandwich to take home and found a long black hair in it. Yuck.

Pretty fancy. First time in, ordered a meat and cheese platter and was a little bummed about the wait time, having pre-ordered. Happy with my purchase and I also grabbed the smokey turkey sandwhich. Very good.

Great drinks at the bar. Super friendly bartenders. I would go back for a meal!

We had the bar menu which consisted of salmon tacos and . Very very good love the service great people to talk to. At the trio plate for dessert what an awesome combination loved it the blueberry fudge was over the moon. Cant wait to go back and try more it was truly truly a good time. Its a must-try more than once do it you wont regret it.

Amazing food, great drinks. Our server Christina was so friendly and upbeat. She provided phenomenal service and helped me decide between all the delicious options. Wed come back here just for the food or for the service, but the fact that both are exceptional is a home run for this place!

One of my favorite restaurants in Yakima! The roasted brussel sprouts appetizer and the Dungeness crab burger are two of my favorite items 🙂. Prices are fair for the wonderful quality food you get. Also full bar if you like a libation with your meal.

Great restaurant with a focus on ingredients and flavors. The servers are wonderful with kids, and their childrens menu has a lovely selection of dishes.

We arrived at 12:15 for lunch. First time there and had heard great things . Unfortunately it wasnt all that great for me. I ordered the won ton and potato, bacon and arrugala pizza. A few minutes later I was informed that they were out of crab, so no won ton. Then a few more minutes later I was informed that they were out of POTATOES.... really !?!? At 12:15 youre out of potatoes... so I just ordered a burger. To top it off I eventually had to ask another server for my ketchup because my server forgot about it. Its a good thing that I checked the ticket before I paid, because I was still getting charged for the pizza that I didnt receive. Not sure about returning or recommending it to others .

My husband and I went for lunch. The drinks are amazing. Fresh and innovative, nothing fake here. Atmosphere is industrial and lends to being able to converse without fear of the other table overhearing. Presentation is great. We both had one drink, each an entree and shared a dessert and walked out with paying $75 with tip. My only complaint is portion sizes need to be a bit larger for the price charged.

Went to Provisions the other day. The food is absolutely superb. I would definitely come here again. The only thing I could knock them on is the mashiness of the crab cake with the Pan Seared Salmon.

I had heard this restaurant was really good but was excited to eat there. I had the apple cider brined pork chops dinner and it was amazing. I had a taste of my nieces pizza and it was yummy too. We ordered 3 of the appetizers and they were awesome too. Needless to say I had delicious leftovers too! The server and staff were great and an amazing selection of drinks. I cant wait to go again!

Very quiet environment, no picture menu made it hard to order for a newbie...but I will say we had many different flavors and not a single item purchased was bad. Adorable gift shop/store off to the side. I highly recommend you try this new to yakima experience. Wheel chair accessible inside and on porch

Fun unique menu items in an upscale modern atmosphere with good service. Prices are a little high but not terribly so considering the food quality and atmosphere. Give it a try and be adventurous trying something new.

The service was excellent. Portions were just right. The food was fresh. Dessert was an almond coconut chocolate cake. Yummm

They have amazing food, good vibe, but the entire rendition of employees changes constantly because they don’t know how to keep or pay their employees. I used to work there full time after they had made me quit my part time job. Shortly after they switched me to 6-9 hours a week then to none. With no communication, warning, or hint. I will not support an establishment that treats their employees that way.

Terrible customer service. I made a reservation via phone a month in advance and was called back to be informed that they would not be honoring my reservation due to being closed for the holiday. No apologies for their error, simply, we will not honor your reservation and to try again in the spring.I’m in the industry and appreciate you giving your employees days off. What I don’t appreciate: Not informing your employees, and being rude to your guests.We did finally return to try this place and the service was terrible, and the food wasn’t good. I had to refill my own water from the tap after our server didn’t appear for 30 minutes. And we sent the crab cakes back. Should have sent the soup and the burger back, but at that point we were hungry and didn’t care. Also had to instruct the server to remove the inedible crab cakes from our bill...

Came off the I82 looking for a quick bit to eat and spotted the Provisions sign. Came in with no particular expectations and had a brilliant lunch. Crab salad, burger and chicken all really good and service good too. Will return if I happen to be in the vicinity.

The food and staff are amazing!

The food was good. The brussel sprouts with bacon were amazing. I did not like the souffle. It was a hard chocolate cake not a souffle. It did have a rich chocolate flavor though.

The food was of the highest quality.. our server was very nice and made every effort to do her best. Although it took near an hour to get our food. If you have a timeframe, to go. If you dont, youll enjoy it.

Service was extremely friendly. They are very flexible with modifying the menu items for vegetarians. I had the eggs Benedict and they gently substituted meat for the famous beyond meat patties. The portion size was enough for 2 people.

If you have any food allergies....this is your place. They cook to serve. Gluten free pizza crust was a bit thick and soft. The regular pizza was done very well. Have ordered several items there and and not found a bad one yet. The portions are not big but will fill you. Our service was good. Its nice to have options like this in Yakima....

Great addition to Terrace Heights. Call ahead for reservations. Its busy. I wish they had at least one vegan option. You can swap out your beef patty for a veggie patty on your burger but they will add $5 to the price. Really? I can buy a 4 pack of high quality veggie patties for $5.

Place has potential, but needs to better train the staff at least the one we had. Menu is limited and overpriced for what is offered. Our water was served warm with no ice. I had their bacon cheese burger and requested regular cheddar, but they do not have any per the waitress, you get white cheddar-and that is it. The french fries were like fat potato chips, and were not very good. They are going for an atmosphere, but need to improve the menu selection. Hint to the owners, serve cold water, offer regular cheddar for those who do not like white cheddar, get a better pizza to serve and put more training into your staff on how to provide top of the line service. Good luck getting this going, like I said it has potential, but needs improvements quickly.

American food and the scene here is excellent. its so savory. the staff was friendly and sociable. the prices are good for what you get. atmosphere is similar to a cafe in san jose i loved.

Their spiral fries are awesome with the classic Provisions burger, which was moist and full of flavor. Excited to try the dinner menu soon. Walk-ins will find it nearly impossible to find a seat so I recommend reservations.

My wife and I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always great and the drinks are excellent. We always recommend provisions to our friends.

One of the best restaurants in Yakima. Great menu selections for the pickiest eaters. This restaurant is always on the list when my wife and I want to go out for a nice dinner.

Great new spot in Terrace Heights. One kf the few elevated dining options in the Yakima area. One of the best burgers Ive ever had. The menu isnt terribly big but everything on it is made with care and attention to detail. The pizza and pasta are also excellent.

The service was slow the stage needs training. The food was bland at best. I had the Apple cider pork chop. It was dry had absolutely no spice or flavor. The garlic green beans rates like plain great beans with no spices at all. I was so looking forward to this new dinning experiance, but after getting the chance to eat here I do not planing to return again.
