Cute little place. Wisconsin, hometown feel. A little rough around the edges but friendly staff, huge select of craft beer.

Best place in Yakima to get special beers. 24 rotating taps and hundreds of bottles to choose from. Also they now serve pizza which is excellent.

I love this place. Everything about this place is what it needs to be. It is friendly, welcoming, sociable, and local. The location downtown contributes to the joy of visiting it. Their selection of local craft beers grant the opportunity of tasting Washington without all the driving. While their food options may be limited to personal style pizzas, they are all delicious. Besides, the name is The Beer Shoppe, not The Pizza Shoppe. Ive been there at least a couple dozen times and have never had a bad experience. It is a place that has made Yakima more of a home for me.

We love the beer shoppe. Good variety of rotating taps. Always has a variety of beer styles. Staff is always knowledgeable about the beers as well. Very relaxed atmosphere. They do have growler fills. They also sell a large variety of bottled and canned beer. They do have food available, I havent tried any when we come.

After the experience I had at The Beer Shoppe today, I will never do business with them. I am a little stressed with my daughters wedding coming up this weekend and trying to find a keg of beer. I was looking for Bud Light, I called two weeks ago and they said it would be no problem and to come in on the Tuesday before. I went in today the Tuesday before and the two women working in there were very rude to me. One of them just walked away and did not come back, the second one treated me like she wanted me to leave. She even went so far as to tell me that I could go someplace else to get a keg of domestic beer. If this is how they treat their customers, how are they still in business? I was there to get a keg of Bud Light and to buy several cases of their beer, to the tune of several hundred dollars. I will shop someplace else. I do not recommend anyone going there, there are many other places to buy beer, where you are treated with respect and they want your business.

Great selection of beer from all over the world. Rotating menu each week, so never same beer always variety. Service is top notch . Appreciate the time they take to answer questions.

Nice friendly atmosphere with extremely helpful staff and customers. You can definitely find a beer to try as well as a number of interesting soda choices. Imported beers and local favorites are here in full force plus a number of beers on tap with full stats. Food menu and board and card games make this a great place to hang out.

Really friendly owners and decent amount of taps. Bottle selection could be more robust but the owners were knowledgeable and willing to take suggestions on what to stock. I could see this place being great for events. Hope to revisit next time Im in Yakima.

Service is good, and the beer selection for cans and bottles is above average. Id recommend going in for something on tap. To my understanding, they are frequently rotating and fresh. This is not your typical coors light bar.

The choices of beer, for in-store and take out, are awesome. Our bartender was great too. Friendly and easy to talk to. Skip Hop Nation and go here instead.

My friend was being a total meander when choosing from this huge selection of Yakima take home beer. I recommend the beer on tap if you want to hang out and gossip. Also, the India Ale is better then the Yakima pale ale. It is just lacking, that hops aftertaste like the pale ale from hops. I would like it if we made a Woodchuck Cider. Please look it up, Yakima would love it. We had fun at this place. Jeff Clemmons seems to have a friendly environment for our locals or tourists. It is clean, and no bugs. His worker also questioned us for IDs. So, these guys get to keep their liquor license. I am coming back some day soon.

Awesome little pub and package store. They carry a large assortment of local micro brews. Compact space, and a favorite spot for locals, so you know it is good!

Id heard about the beer shoppe, but hadnt been able to check it out yet. I accidentally parked right in front of it when coming downtown for something else. I decided to run inside and I was pleasantly surprised! They have a great selection of beers that you can buy but they do tend towards the ipas, which may or may not be great if thats your thing! They also have a great selection of tap beers that you can enjoy at the bar or there are a handful of big comfy chairs if you can get. This is a great spot!

A gem in the rough. Yakima has a few good places and the beer shoppe is one of them. Rotating regional breweries and a passion for cask ale. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing selection and beer/cider(s) on tap and available for purchasing large selection. Their shoppe allows you to pick a bottle or can of beer instead of buying a a six pack via inventory. This is really nice when you want to try a new beer or cider. Definitely a great place to come to and try different beers.

Great hideaway for a quick craft beer experience. Not quite a bar. Not quite a store. In between.

I have been going there for many years, but no more. The owner today was quite rude to me. It wasnt what she asked of me, it is the how she asked it. Very impolite and she doesnt know how to treat customers. There are other place to patronize where they know good manners.

They have a staggering selection of different bottles of beers from all over the world, and they have a great selection of local beers on tap! They have great events where the brewery comes out to promote their beers. There is always something new to try!
