They had only ONE style for golf gloves for women....ONE! All of the rest were for men. The golf supply section is teeny tiny too except for the balls. And this is a sporting goods store??? Went down the street to Pro Golf Discount and they were helpful, have a HUGE selection of gloves and anything else you need. Would not even bother going into Big 5 next time.

They had the shoes I was looking at a good price. The staff was there to help and did. My whole experience lasted about 15 minutes and I was on my way to my next stop.

It was ok. Clerk at the door DID NOT have a clue where the lights I wanted were. Thats why I dont shop there unless I absolutely have to

Some staff are unknowledgeable about the inventory in store. Shoe prices are great, bought 2 pair for gym. Its an okay store.

Called all around town before driving all the way from Toppenish, these guys were the ONLY sporting goods store that took the time to correctly describe what they had in stock. AND I was able to get 20% off by signing up for an account with them online! Got an AWESOME fully automatic bb gun that is almost an identical replica of a real AR-15...for under $200!!

Small but good sports store. I do wish they would sell more than just the big brands of obscure sports, like disc golf discs, or Wilson racquets. But over all, a good stop.

The associates at Big 5 were very helpful in helping me find what I needed. They were friendly and checkout was a breeze. It was easy to see that COVID protocol was being followed and I was comfortable shopping to their store.

Very difficult.to get assistance, and their stock was very low in supplies I needed.

Looking for a baseball shirts. Found no problem. Needed a smaller size, went back, exchange was super simple and fast. The gals are great. Going back for some baseball gloves for my daugther and myself. Toss the ball around for her hand eye coordination.

I love big 5, they do sell some cheap quality stuff, but they do try to be affordable. There is stuff for everyone. Just wished they stocked up up their weights section faster.

The variety of things is certainly good but could definitely be improved in some aspects. Every now and then you can be pleasantly surprised by a good deal.

This store is great. But the building it is in is to small. If they were in a different building then, the items for sale would be easier to get to. If people could see what was for sale that would be awesome. Very nice and great quality of stuff.

Not set up well... Had to wonder though & around store to find things... No signs or any clerks to ask for help... Tags marked clearance did not ring up the clearance prices which I didnt realize til after I paid. Was told all sales are final when I went back the next day...

So when I went to buy a pair of shes paid more than I was sposed to because tag was on the wrong model of shoe. How unprofessional!

In the store its awesome. But outside of the store in the parking lot and around the dumpsters is an embarrassment.

They had cleats. I needed cleats for a grandson who only brought one side of cleat. Emergency stop at Big 5. Glad they had his size. We saved the day. We won too!!!!! It was the new cleats. Yeah!!!!

Always a great place to pick up sport shoes and shoe laces. A nice selection of athletic clothes, too.

Day deals are the best, so make sure you sign up for the rewards.The cashier was nice about adjusting prices, because some items werent priced correctly.Seemed like the cashier we had today wasnt in the best mood. Maybe, next time I will be greeted when I walk in and have some one happy in the front.

This store has a good selection of items for a wide variety of activities and a fair amount of clearance items at any given time. The employees were helpful without hovering, and seemed pretty laid back. They offered to carry some weights out to the car for us, which was nice of them!

Lots of sporting goods at reasonable prices. Theyve always got shoes on sale and/or close-out. The help arent always good about offering help.

This Big 5 isnt so big. They have hardly any Hockey gear, nor skates. The employees are sparse and hard to find. Sometimes they will have nice shoe sales, or decent deals on Seahawk gear 😎. But Dicks has a much larger selection for sporting good store in Yakima.

Selection of shoes is good; we had our visit under control but we were not acknowledged by any worker which might have been easier for us because they know where to find exactly what we needed. Check out could have been smoother if they had thier display prices correct. Shoes rung up different prices which lead to a return to fix the error.

I love this store the sales here are just great they know how to bring people into there store with the amazing sales.

In the days before Amazon, your choice for sports gear was limited in Yakima. You could head downtown to Stottlemeyers/Kimmels, or you went to Big 5. While they each had their own specialties, its hard to beat the wide selection of items available at Big 5. You can get your yard games, sports balls, and basic fishing gear at the same stop! Growing up, this was almost always where I got my baseball cleats and bats. They always held up just fine and prices are reasonable on shoes/balls. Dont forget to check out their sale items.......items are constantly going on sale for good discounts!
