Nice place, Id been meaning to stop in for quite some time. Popped in and checked out the shoes, they didnt have the type I came in looking for, but after explaining how the store was laid out I was able to quickly select an alternate pair of awesome shoes. Also had some stickers thrown in the bag which is awesome too! Ill be headed back here next payday, now that I know whats inside.

Stellar local shop! Ordered a new skateboard setup online and it was ready in minutes. The staff were helpful in getting the board set up quickly. It’s a beautiful store with tons of custom merch and accessories. This place is a gem!

New yak city and the stores owner are awesome. I live down in portland and Last year I was planning a trip to Colorado to do some riding. Last minute I decided I wanted a new board. so I looked in town and couldnt find what i wanted. I turned to the Internet thinking it was a lost cause because of how soon I had to jump on a plane. I found new yak city online and they had the exact board I was looking for so I called them up. The owner and I talked about my situation and time crunch. He wasnt sure that UPS could get it down to me in time so he volunteered to drive it down to me! I was way impressed! The trip was amazing. Im sure it wouldnt have been nearly as good without the new ride and help from new yak city! Go check out their store or website and spend all your money!

Super cool store. I went in hoping for more of a local skate shop, but they are mostly a clothing store. Gear available was still pretty good and they had a lot of cool stuff. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a board or gear.

Stuff here is ridiculously expensive In comparison to Zumiez or other shops but unlike zumies boards Ive not broken the board Ive gotten from these guys in 2 years of every day riding so I cant complain. They also sell custom boards.
