This is a cute place which has amazing coffee, food and drinks! Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if you are looking for a coffee place to relax and unwind.

I am extremely happy I found and tried this amazing coffee stop. Its hard to find kind and happy humans these days that really care about the quality of service and products they provide. The coffee was absolutely superb. I drink espresso with a dash of oat milk and I can tell quality espresso! My husband loved the maple Bourbon iced latte. This business is face friendly. I will not only be back to visit, but recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you for providing a 5 star experience.

I was so excited when I saw this place while driving by. It looked like a cute coffee and deli shop that I would enjoy coming to regularly. The inside is beautiful and charming, but then I noticed that all of the employees werent wearing masks during a state wide mask mandate. Which I might add is DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC! Im sorry, but if you want to risk the life of your customers while people are filling up hospital beds around the country then you deserve nothing more than a 1 star rating. Your staff and place of employment has clearly shown a lack of care towards customer safety and has proven that it cares more about politicizing a pandemic than operating as a business following the mandates put forward by the state. There is another coffee shop next to yours and clearly I chose the wrong one.

I really wanted to like this place so much, because when they first started they were friendly and kind and had an awesome menu. Now, the last few times I’ve gone, they’ve really gone downhill. The main room wasn’t clean and the barista wasn’t very friendly. As much as I want to say I enjoy coming here, they fired one of my favorite baristas and just lost their overall quality

Great atmosphere and aesthetic. Barista was super friendly and patient while we were deciding what to order. I ordered the lotus natural energy drink, which they have tons of flavors to choose from. I wasn’t a huge fan of the panini. Plenty of outlets if you plan on bringing your laptop. Restrooms are kinda hard to find if you haven’t been here before. Just ask the baristas and they’ll give you the restroom key.

Bridgette and Bethany are absolutely wonderful people! They make your day so much brighter because they make you feel like family! Most days, I dont actually need anything, but I love talking with them so much that I will go in and order something. They care about you and your life. They have so many customers they see everyday, yet they still ask you for an update on what you told them last week. If there is a SMALL chance that your drink doesnt taste right, they will remake you something without making you feel bad about it. They actually encourage feed back about how they make things. I am usually one to stick with the same two drinks, however these ladies have encouraged me to branch out and try something new. Once again, if I didnt like it, they would replace it with my normal drink! Naturally, I loved all the drinks they have suggested and now my biggest problem is deciding what I want!For all the people complaining about the baristas and the owner not wearing a mask, you are still welcome to wear yours. They obviously want you to be comfortable. If you are not comfortable, then take your business elsewhere. However, you will certainly be missing out on the BEST coffee shop anyone can ask for.

Such a neat atmosphere perfect for a study sesh or visit with a friend. I went downstairs for some quieter studying. Their music selection was on point too!! Free parking right next to it a plus.A basic latte was expensive but tasty. Ill likely find a cheaper option for future visits there. So glad to have found this fun spot.

I cant say enough about Mak Daddy. Mark and the team have created an unbeatable coffee spot here in the valley, and really so much more! Bridgette especially has led the team in customer service, and I hear shes the brains behind many of the drinks as well. I especially love the locally roasted beans - top of the list? The bourbon and tequila beans. Looking for a drink? Get the Wicked Tequila Fire Water. My go-to when I visit which says a lot because Im strictly an Americano guy. Love the local feel, the warm vibes, and the welcoming atmosphere.

Was in a wreck the other day so car Is smashed so it will be a month or so before I get a new one. Today I decided to ride the bus after an appointment downtown but needed change for the bus. I walked into the front door went up to the counter showed the girl working there a dollar and asked if I could get 4 quarter for a bus fair. She said Id have to buy coffee for her to give me the change. One was yelling after I shared my displeasure. What dirtbags and what a dirtbag place. I dont drink coffee but if I did id Id never stop here for such. Suppose if a guy came in there dying of heat exhaustion asking for a cup of water shed say buy some coffee first. Like I said dirtbags fire them...

I was initially impressed by the selection of beans, but after paying $6 for a cold pourover, and having the barista offer to microwave it to fix an underextracted brew, I simply asked for a drip coffee and left, as they were busy and I wasnt going to argue with the employee. Wont be back. Wish some of Crafteds excellence could rub off on them.

Mak Daddy Coffee Roaster was a delightful experience for me this morning. I enjoyed a Costa Rica pour over from a very knowledgable staff. The drink was clean, with a full body, light acidity, and lovely balance. I would describe it as having a cranberry flavor (Just my take). I enjoyed it both black, and with cream, with the flavor lasting even as it cooled. Thank you for being open, it is encouraging to see you ready to serve durring these challenging times.

Wish we could have tried something, but they basically stop serving anything 20 minutes before they close... on a Friday, with customers inside.I could care less she wasnt wearing a mask, but she just wasnt friendly. If you **genuinely** think youre going to get COVID 19 from one person without a mask on, maybe you should not be going in public - or more realistically, pick a different coffee shop.

The only reason I gave 3 stars instead on 1 is b/c the food was really good. The baristas could have cared less if we were giving their small business money or not. They (2 employees) also were not wearing masks.

Not a good place for students or groups. a person in my group purchased a $6 water and was then told she needed to buy another drink in order to sit with us. on another occasion my group of 5 spent a total of $70, one person in our group didnt want anything so she had water. we were told that next time we cant be seated unless we all make a purchase. northtown is better for groups.

This is currently my favorite shop in town. Its very nice with just enough room for a moderate crowd. There is more space downstairs. The hours are great! I love the coffee. This is where I buy my beans for my home espresso machine. The only downside is the occasional shady character hanging outside the shop. But not a big deal in my view. Definitely recommend!

I got a pour over and it was amazing. I loved that they include hot mugs with the carafe. We also got an egg and cheese bagel that had Sriracha butter on it AND a ham and cheese croissant. So good! I knew I should have just left when I saw the barista incorrectly wearing a face mask that said This mask is as useless as the governor but I needed my caffeine fix. I could have saved myself the $10 and the potential COVID-19 exposure.The mocha was decent, but its pretty hard to mess up a mocha. My honey latte, on the other hand, was way too sweet, to the point of being undrinkable. I ended up throwing it out.

The drip coffee is always extra acidic and bitter. The espresso tastes terrible. The tea is pretty decent though. Fast service is nice.BUT in terms of ambiance, this place is awesome. A great place to be productive and study.

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in Yakima to work at, enjoy delicious drinks, and organize meetings. The atmosphere is pristine and urban, the staff is friendly and eager to serve, and the shop offers various unique promotions—from punch cards, to daily specials, and student discounts. There is plenty of seating and great workspace. If you haven’t been to Mak Daddy yet, you’re missing out!

Great coffee and service. They currently have a monthly coffee club where you can get unlimited coffee drinks for under $50 a month, so if you like to drink coffee more than 10 times a month you are getting a really great deal! Theres extra seating downstairs. Its the only place in town that roasts their own coffee. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a cozy place to have great coffee!

This is a nice coffee shop. It is cozy with a fireplace, a great view of the street, and always enough seating. If you want a cafe you can study at, this is it. It is never too noisy, and the music is rarely obnoxious. The coffee is good, and the baristas both kind and obviously talented at their jobs. The prices are also affordable too! It’s about $4-4.75 for a large latte.

I am not very impressed with the coffee unfortunately. My girlfriend and I and tried their coffee twice and both times their coffee tasted over roasted and burnt. I may try their light roast but I do not expect much.Their Tea is very good though.
