Staff in this place doesnt even stay in the front to help customers but hang out in the back with customers on the floor and are very dismissive of their clients someone should explain to them that is how you stay in business.

This location is awesome. The store was clean and organized. The store had a great selection of consoles and titles. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This location had sanitizer to combat Covid-19. I am going back!

My entire family and I absolutely love this GameStop. This location is my go to for games, action figures, hats, graphic socks etc.... they always have everything in stock and they always answer the phone when I call for any inquiries. Did I mention how helpful and the pleasant the staff are. Johnathan and Justin are wonderful. No matter how many people are in the store I see them patiently helping each and every customer with a smile on their face. I’ve been to lots of other GameStop locations, even in Hawaii but this location is our favorite one.

They are really cutting back on the amount of used games that they carry. Theyre no longer a place to go to for used games as they are barely cheaper than buying them new. not sure why but they do not price match their own website. I would have to order it online and pick it up in store if I wanted the online price which is odd.

My son loves GameStop. Overall stocked well. Sells out fast on new items on all levels due to popular demands excellent customer service at most locations . recommend by my son to all kids of all ages and adults as well

Unfortunately this GameStop like all others are looking very bare they will carry the latest games some used games here and there but the mom and pop video game stores are a better choice now.

This place lacks something that other gamestop has and I think i know what it is. They lack products this place feels like they never have anything at all. I understand if they sell out but If their units are moving so quick they should schedule more trucks to deliver product. I now shop at the gamestop in Central Ave due to the fact that they actually have products i can buy.

Jonathan was extremely helpful. I was sent there after an employee at the jerome ave store called and spoke to Justin the manager. He assured her that the item would be available for me. After making my way from Jerome ave to Cross county I find out that the item isnt there. Justin the coward never came out of the back once to address me. Jonathan not only took care of every customer but called another store in Pelham manor. The manager Lauren personally brought the item from her store to cross county. Jonathan saw I was in pain ( came directly from the ER) and offered me a seat while I waited for Lauren to bring the item. All the while Justin the coward never emerged from the back. Thank you Jonathan and Lauren from Pelham Manor. JUSTIN SHOULD BE FIRED ASAP

Always busy but staff is very knowledgeable about games

The cashier was so rude. I handed him a game case from the shelf, he snatched it out my hand and put it on the counter just to say “i’m sold out of this game” 2 seconds later. I stood there waiting for him to offer to order it and he stayed silent. First of all why is it on the shelf if it’s sold out? Second, If a game is sold out you offer to order it you don’t just ignore the person standing right in front of you. So awkward and uncomfortable. I was going to ask about a controller as well but why would I want to ask a person who’s snatching things and not being helpful at all?? They need customer service training.

Been going here for years for myself and my husband, and ive never had a problem with any of the assosiates, they are super friendly and helpful.

The cashier was a big help. She knows a lot about whats going on with the supply of games these days.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ps5 pre order, got there super early, 2 am. Security guards said no one can form a line until 730, but sure enough lets everyone in at 645. They only had 14 systems available. I was number 10 on the line, then they had us move the line to the other side of the store and some how was pushed back to 14 on the line. So I think I am in the clear, but sure enough the security guard lets 2 people cut who didnt make the line and because of that I wasnt able to get one. Police and the manager got involved and STILL DID NOT MAKE THINGS RIGHT. WOULD NEVER GO BACK

Amazing customer service!! There was a very long line and store was very busy but my daughter was crying wanting a bandaid. I asked, feeling silly but somebody helped me to get one! Also, when purchasing a used game, the guy was very thorough about checking for scratches. I was very pleased.

Its the absolute last resort for me to visit this place. They never have what I need, never answer the phone and never know anything about anything. It feels like someone doesnt show up at their shift every single day and youre left with one really slow working employee who has the enthusiasm of corpse.

The wait time to checkout has continually gotten out of hand. The store is too understaffed to adequately serve customer needs.Any other chain store. Customer inquiries would be handled before the customer gets to the register. This ensures the cashier lines move as quick as possible. Appealing to customers like myself who already know what they want. With the only stops would be for proper payment processing, fraud prevention procedures, pre-orders. And maybe a brief friendly conversation.Not having 2 families holding up the entire checkout line for well over 10 minutes. Because of a poorly designed business model that puts all the upsell pressure on the cashiers.

When I think of Gamestop, I usually think of long lines and questionable customer service. However, last Friday I walked into the store in Cross County and my experience was completely different.. in a good way! Thanks to a beautiful associate by the name of Raylissa, I was able to find what I want and learn a few things along the way faster than ever. Ive never been more satisfied nor served more efficiently than I was that day. You will definitely see me shopping at this location again thanks to Raylissa.

Bad bad salesmanship `~`I paid for a new white Xbox One bundle with Quantum Break and Alan Wake with the expansion packs. Instead I get home and I pull out an unwrapped console with two dings corners and a black smudge underneath the front of the system. Plus no chat headset and no Alan Wake download code card....... tssk tsskThings should be checked when returned. And as far as Im conserned, an open package is a used package.
