Well, I couldnt get my custom paint done at a home depot or ace hardware in Hilliard, so when I traveled back to mahoning Valley I went to ace and got my paint!!!!!I loved my friendly, professional outrageous great experience. My salesperson was a vet with a phenomenal attitude!! I got what I wanted, great price, and had a great experience to boot.

I enjoy the store, it has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with knowledgeable people on hand to assist without smothering. You will usually find exactly what you need as well as something you didnt know you did.

I bought copies of housekeeper there, and they fit the door perfectly. They have a lot of unusual products but found in other stores. Their employees show pride with their great customer service.

Good prices and they have everything you need including smart and professional employees to help you find your items and help you your project. Love this store more than the big stores for sure

Needed a 35-5 MFD for a central air unit. Called around to probably three different stores, and finally called in to Handyman ( I just didnt expect them to have it ) the guy knew immediately what I needed, told me the cost and had it sitting and ready to go when I got there. My girlfriend is pregnant and she needs the AC. So grateful for the hometown hardware store.

Ive been to Handyman dozens of times since I was a teenager, and its a landmark of this area to me. Its great to have a locally owned hardware store so you dont have to go to a big-box-store every time you need an item or two in the middle of a project. Fair prices and friendly/helpful staff. Everyone should support their local businesses, so check it out if youve never been there.

Great place and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their customer service reminds me of the old Stambaughs that used to own this market. I enjoy the experience more than the big boxes.

This is a locally owned hardware store that has the selection of a full blown chain hardware store! The customer service is great. When you have a problem the golks here will stop at nothing to make sure you have what you need to take care of it! I came in there with a busted garden hose and not only did they have all the parts needed to fix it, they did the repair for me without me even asking them to! Talk about above and beyond! This place is amazing. Support local and come here for everything!

Ive gotten much assistance from staff & have hardly ever, if ever, left disappointed. When I had to replace my shower handles, they had exactly what I needed & even advice on how to make the job easier

Handyman is a nice place to go to get a few things if youre in a hurry or need a single screw. Only reason I will go there is for the convenience of it being closer than other hardware stores like home depot and lowes. The prices are a bit high and sometimes you cant find what you need. It all really depends on the item you need. They have a big selection but the prices vary. You really just need to know what items cost to see if you are getting a good deal or overpaying. Giving a 4 star because the staff is very helpful, much more than home depot, but loosing a star due to the higher priced items.

They carried hard to find products for my house and knew exactly what i needed. Plus I love the bulk nails and screws! Maybe not the place to buy stacks of lumber, they are sized for convenience, but they have what u need.

You will pay $1 or $2 more on some products but they are actually knowledgeable on many handyman projects you may find yourself in. The 2 middle aged guys at the paint counter especially. Plus, everyone on the staff will ask you if you need help. Everyone...it actually gets annoying if your in there for awhile but it is hard to find a business that strives to give competitive prices, good customer service with knowledgeable employees anymore. Kudos to you Handyman

A great, local hardware store with helpful and knowledgeable staff. A place where I dont have to buy 500 nails if I only need 3 - a place where if a product I need isnt stocked they will try to order it - A place where they will walk me to an item I ask about, not just point across the store and tell me an isle number. Stores like this are deserving of patronage so they dont all die out.

Ive been here a couple times in the staff is always been incredibly helpful. The store seems clean and well stocked. The prices are generally much cheaper than big box stores like Home Depot and Lowes, well the quality is just as good. We will shop there again.

If you need help, this is a great place to go. I needed a specific screw to finish assembling something and they found it very quickly.

No matter whenever you go in to the store the personnel greet you with a smile and a hello. It seems like no matter what you need you can find it there in the store. Also it is in s convenient location.

The customer service at this place is too notch. The employees are super nice and very knowledgeable. The only problem I have with this place is the weird hours that they have.

I asked for a quote in writing to repair a screen door since it was for a friend. The worker, a man, told me he doesnt write quotes down. Okay. So whoever picks the screen door up after it is repaired could be charged an outrageous price, right? He then said take it to get fixed somewhere else. I did that and the other company had manners, respect and it cost less.

Great place to find rare things that are a little harder to find at other hardware stores . Like certain types of nut and bolts with certain grades of steel certain lenghts and certain threads. Many types of washers, seals, orings and many other items. can also buy 1 screw if needed and not a whole box. Great service and very friendly people. Some items are way over priced. But for the most part the prices are pretty fair.
