Staff was friendly and helpful=products were put in the car for me=the hay I bought was wrapped in plastic so it would not be everywhere in the car=even though it was baled.

They were very helpful th ey explained there sprays an chemicals real thorough I never had a problem after the gentle man explained those things to me an my friend that was helping me.

I had to call the police because of the owner. I purchased a gun to protect my family during this virus epidemic. State law requires that you wait 10 days. The store called me 3 days ago and said I could pick up my shotgun today which is actually past the 10 days. I received a phone call today that my application was still pending. When I called the store back i spoke to the owner he was extremely rude and short with me. I asked him why his store called me a few days earlier and told me I had no problems picking up my gun today. He responded with if I don’t like his response he would cancel my order making it so I wound have to wait another 10 days.I asked him for a phone number so I could try and follow through with the process and if others that purchased before me where abel to get their guns. He wouldn’t answer about wait times and said he would give me a number only to hang up on me. He then called me back in 2 minutes saying he canceled my order that a refund would be waiting at the store. I could t believe this guys anger management issues and that he would do this after waiting the 10 day period. I contacted the police, they where able was to get me a partial refund. However, even though this guy cancelled my order he did not refund me the whole amount. The state fees and their fee was not refunded now I have to wait another 10 days to get another weapon.To the owner: I understand we are in hard times right now and that I’m sure your under a lot of stress. But you shouldn’t t take your stress out on customers you should be great full you still have a job/business. Yes everything might be backlogged but you can nicely explain that and not have your employees call me and tell me I’m ok to pick up on a day only to not be. And to cancel a contract after waiting 10 days putting my family at risk just because your mad and taking away my legal right to purchase a gun shame on you .Then to take part of my money that you did not refund even worse. I hope others read this when deciding to do business there or purchase a gun. Treat people right. We are all going through a lot right now .I wish I had read other reviews now before coming in as I’m not the only one. I really would like to get the media involved because I feel what your doing to people is wrong. However, I will leave my efforts here and do business elsewhere that appreciates and cares about their customers.

Always a pleasure to visit SOS. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, although recently my visit I noticed a newer employee in the store that seemed like he really didnt want to be there. A short little guy early 20s thin beard brown hair. He was working the firearms counter and was very occupied with his phone, so much so he seemed bothered by my asking questions. It was a stark contrast to what Im used to seeing there. Hopefully he finds a place elsewhere to work better suited to his liking. That store is to good to have a disgruntled little guy detracting from its overall awesomeness.

Ive had differing experiences coming in here. I have bought a lot of farm supplies and outdoor equipment with no issues. The floor staff are always very courteous and helpful.Purchasing a gun at SOS was a different experience altogether. Went in knowing which gun I wanted and having already verified that they had one in stock. The young man behind the counter was negligent and discourteous to my friend and myself. When I finally got him to actually bring me the gun, he rung me up for a more expensive gun, with more features than the one I was purchasing. My friend pointed this out to him and he proceeded to argue with us. In the end, a very helpful woman came over to complete the transaction and we had no other issues. Not sure if it was just an off day for the gentleman as I normally get great service there.

This place is my go to gun store. They pretty much get anything you ask for. Long as its Cali legal. They dont have much to show and tell, but they can get what your heart desires. And the stuff they do have is top notch. This is a serious place for hunters. I dont I just shoot for fun at the range. I only buy my guns from here, they prices are cheaper then anywhere. Will I am not sure about Sacramento prices, but then again I dont want to drive out there when I can get what I want right here.The store is at a weird location parking can be a pain. But once you figured how things work you will be a happy camper.The staff is very nice and helpful. Always smiling and saying hello.I recommend this place. 👍💪

Went with a friend that was looking to buy something and I was pretty amazed at all the variety of quality product there. And the customer service was a breath of fresh air. Although I wouldnt go there to buy garden plants. The ones they do have look pretty haggard.

Very nice people, the young blonde lady who helped me was very pleasant and easy to talk to. When I asked specific questions regarding feed for my chickens she knew exactly what I was asking and had all the answers I was looking for. SOS is luck to have such good employees.

It is a grate place for farmers and the owner is a grate guy he works with you have been going there since 1999 for my thing that I need gives you a small town beanies and the staff are good to and nice . The woman in the gun section was extremely disrespectful to me and my son on Christmas Eve on a gun exchange while he was on leave before he has to deploy out.Very Anti-military environment.I do like the gentleman in there hes very informative and respectful.She is not. I would never purchase a firearm there because how we felt leaving the store.

Dont be fooled by the look from the street, they have a lot of items to choose from. Service is always great. Love that I can buy vegi seeds in bulk for my garden. Best prices in Yuba/Sutter for firearms. My daughter loves the old school, storefront, coin op horse ride they have. One of the owners always come and visits with my daughter every time we come in.The negative reviews are related to one person and in no way reflect the rest of the crew. Ive had the same problem but I just deal with the people I like and all is well. The rest treat my wife, daughter and I like family.

Staff has NO knowledge of what is in their store. Called re a product was told they had it and was given a price. Went in 30 min later...not only was I directed to the wrong item they did not carry it at all! Wasted my lunch going in... Wont do that again!
