I had heard about Precision from a friend in YV, I moved to Indio and they were kind enough to come all the way out to me. Josh fixed my door in 45 minutes for $200 and I was quoted $867 from another company who wanted to do more stuff. You can TRUST this company to do the right thing at the right price!!!

Nick did a great job with the help of Sean from start to finish. The only thing that took any time was bureaucracy with home insurance, that had nothing to do with them. Easy install, fast service.

Nick and his assistant Shawn did a great job installing my new and improved insulated, modern style garage door. They were super friendly and most importantly, knew exactly what they were doing with all the installation details--especially considering the door was being installed in an older, mid-century carport that was converted into a garage with trickier mounting details. The folks at Precision Garage Doors & Gates are 100% professionals -- 100% of the time. From the beginning of our gate remodel project, they were responsive, timely, fairly priced, and constructed an excellent iron gate for our property with short turnaround. The best part is they were able to reuse the vintage wood slats we originally had as facing on our old gate. They werent sure they could do it, but they did and its beautiful! All Contractors have to be Licensed and Bonded and are responsible for if they brake something while doing the job. When Josh came to give me a Estimate it was noted that they couldnt drive on the driveway as it has some problems and the weight of there large Truck might brake more of the Concrete. When they finally came out with the right door(problems with ordering a kit it wasnt looked over when it came in had Missing Pieces) they said it was needed to have there Truck drive on the driveway/concrete. There sales people need to Listen more carefully to the customer better. The one star was given only for the return of my deposit. * * * *- - --> My above comments was responded to later in the day from there owner 2nd post as you can see. There apology I except, but next time they should wright down what the Home Owners tell them. Not my problem they didnt do so. Funny when a bad complaint shows against them how fast they come back with something different that makes them look good, BEWARE OF THEM AT PRECISION Garage Door.the rest of there response is not accurate as it was stated by me about my driveway being a problem with Heavy Trucks/Vehicles upon it as once before a Delivery Truck did brake two sections of the driveway.When my deposit was given back to me all that was said was I apologize for the confusion, note that there Contract says All Deposits Non Refundable if thats so why did they refund my deposit? They were wrong and they knew it.

This company and their employees are really great! Especially Nick Erichson. They removed our old hardware and replaced it with all new hardware, (springs, garage sensors, garage openers with an app to remotely open the garage door.) He went over all the new equipment with me so I understood how to use it and what was exactly done. It was a great experience. Oh! And the the pricing is very reasonable. They are a local home grown company but legit. Plase consider them for garage and fence work.

FREAKING FABULOUS!!!One of our garage doors springs snapped over the weekend. I called around noon on Monday and was able to get a service appointment from 12:30-2:30 on Tuesday. Josh and Grant showed up by 12 and were done and gone by 12:25. On top of that, we were able to get a quote for future work (replacement of garage door, motor, tracks, etc.)Great service!!! Extremely Rare and High Caliber of Customer Service!!I did a considerable amount of research on my own about the type and quality of garage door, hardware and opener wanted. The one I was replacing was over 30 years old and not a standard installation.I then started calling local and near local businesses that specialize in Garage door Replacement. The Phone conversation with Precisions front line Customer Service Team was timely, pleasant, knowledgeable and could provide me with the service and product I had been researching.I was able to make an appointment.in the same call for a time that suited my schedule and needs. The followed up with another call the day before my appointment to confirm.The Installer, arrived on time, in a professionally marked truck that was equipped with everything needed to do the job. He was pleasant and worked efficiently to complete the job and accommodate some unforeseen issues due to the age of the garage and size of the opening.Both the Technician and Customer service made follow up calls reminding me if I had any issues to call and they would return. I never had an issue. I did call them just before my one year warranty ended to come look as the system as a whole and make any adjustments they felt It needed. I encountered the same level of Customer Service!That was 4 years ago, I have had no problems or issues!I would like to commend the owners of this local business for the 5 Star plus customer service and employing the high caliber of professionals who I encountered while working with Precision Garage Doors.I am a local Real Estate Professional who has recommended Precision many times to my clients with the assurance that they would be well taken care of.It is Rare in this day and age to find a company that gives their customers the level of care that I found with Precision. We have had several appointments with Precision. Ryan was very helpful in solving several issues that we had. I would highly recommend Precision along with Ryan.

Absolutely the worst.... Called and scheduled to come out to see whats wrong with my garage door. Wont go up and down but could hear motor working. Able to do it manually. Came out on time, polite young man. Told me service call was $175! Asked for my clicker, said the chain/ line wasnt where it was suppose to move. (Same thing happened last year, my son in law adjusted it, tightened the line and it worked fine for a year) He was adjusting it, after a few tries goes inside andthe unit and turns something inside with screwdriver. Got it to go up, then down, but wouldnt come up again. Turns with screwdriver again, says its only going down, ( tho he didnt pull garage door up to show me). Takes chain, reroutes it the other way along rail, nothing except the sound of the motor still working. Tells me need a new unit, circut going up not working in unit, new law in Calif as of July units must have battery backup due to wildfires! But mind you, I can still open and close it by hand...without batteries. Quoted $650-$700 to replace. Declined that offer and decided I will manually do it til April when my son comes back and see if he can install a new one. I pay him cash, get a receipt, and he is in his way. My other brother (8 hours away) goes to his Home Depot, selects a unit ( who still sells them without batteries here in California) explains the problem and they then call our local Home Depot, set up an install for me within 2 weeks ( due to Holidays), paid for everything right then for a unit (happens to also have backup batteries) and install, taxes for $300!! LESS than half I was quoted by Precision. Found out from another person, they called and werent charged a service fee to check their unit. Said they were going to need a new unit soon. They also declined to purchase a new unit for $600 and theirs is still working! I understand they have employees to pay, but double or tripling the cost of unit should cover that. So $700 plus $175 service fee ( not diagnostic fee) =$875 vs $300... No brainier for this senior citizen.

So nice and so professional! Also they did not complain about having to come out on a rainy day and close to a holiday. Would definitely recommend, especially our service technician, Nick :)

Did you know these guys do fencing and gates? Well they do. It was an enormous job, done quick and right the first time! Now I have automatic, solar-powered gates that welcome me home, and open for me from over a tenth of a mile away, so I just zoom up the driveway! These guys are the best in town! THEY REALLY ARE!

Called for an estimate and having used Precision on my other door I wanted to utilize them once again. Chad showed for the estimate and we discussed all the details (he was very informative). Decided on all the details and waited to be scheduled. Chad estimated two weeks and I was good with that. Well a couple of days later we scheduled and it was in two days. Chad showed up with a crunched schedule, installed in about two hours. His work mate showed up and helped. All went off without a hitch. Good job guys.

They were very professional did everything that was promised, and did a very good job.They even cleaned up everything and took all trash and old parts with them.The customer service was excellent. Precision did a great job working with us at a distant, isolated location. The estimate was clean, and our particular door situation was taken in hand right from the get-go. The door went in well! We did not initially get a facia board across the additional header material needed for our application, which was disappointing, but once someone could get out our way, the board was quickly installed with no fuss nor mess. Ive used this company thee times now, not for garage doors but for my gates. These are heavy duty front and side gates and theyve a great job in both fabricating and installing a new gate as well as repairing a prior gate coming out of the cinder block. They are on time, professional and a good price.

If nobody else is available, Precision is the way to go. Their work is good, but their price is outrageous. I may not understand the business, but once I felt they tried to oversell. I regularly use another vendor who has much better prices, but they also are fussy about repairs.

I had a company come to see why my garage door would not go down and they said I had a bad door opener! It was installed 16 mos earlier. All they wanted to do was sell me a new one and said I needed struts and rollers. No way! I called Precision and they came out the next day. The only problem I had was that the door was out of balance and the sensors were out of adjustment. They were professional and didnt try to sell me parts I didnt need!

At 5:10 p.m.on July 20, my garage door wouldnt close. I was very worried about leaving it open all night. I called for help and within 10 minutes Ryan Moore was at my house. Forty five minutes later the door was like new again. What piece of mind that gave me! Thank you to Ryan a million times over for making my needs more important that going home to his family after a long days work.I gave Ryan 5 stars but since he is one in a million I wish I could have given him a million stars.

First off the sales person said I’d have both a quote and super imposed pictures within a day Not Only did I not have either but despite trying to contact him I never heard from him again. One of the office staff after several weeks finally supplied me with both and when I requested an additional quote without the windows in the garage doors I never heard from them again.
