Extremely busy and for good reasons. You need it from a grocer? They have it. Meat selection is good and their fish seafood selection is good to be in the middle of Texas. Great pharmacy staff and do offer their own discount coupons for RX cash sales. Abilene desperately needs a second location.

Walking up to the entrance I witnessed a manager explaining operations and safety to his new employee. Excellent success management! The sushi refrigerator was clean and organized perfectly. It looked like it should be on a commercial. Thanks guys. It was delicious. Lastly I appreciate every employee wearing a masks.

Our go-to for quality and unique products at competitive prices! I almost always find new, fun products when I visit, as theres a lot of rotation. However, if you fall in love with something exotic, theres a chance it will disappear forever soon after. The place looks much better after the remodel!

Lines, lines, lines. Always waiting in line.And if you think next in line should be moved to an opening register, dont get your hopes up! They SPECIFICALLY pick whoever got in line most recently. As if it wasnt already full of enough rude people trying to do that shtuff.

I hadnt gone to HEB in a long till die to always so crowded. But it was on my way and said lets see. Glad I did was a very pleasant experience. And my cashier was so funny and happy. Topped it of just right. Wish I had her name to give her some credit but good job HEB. Doing better than ever before and my timing was good cause there were more employees in great moods than cranky customers. Was an awesome trip to the store. Thanks I needed it

Went to HEB today to do some shopping. The cashiers were all very busy which is understandable but no excuse for not handling the goods one is purchasing with care. I purchase some Scoops (corn chips) and when the cashier was handling he smashed then with his hands. I asked him to please be more careful and he looked at me like: whats wrong with you. I know this is a picky subject but it would seem to me the cashiers could be a little more careful. Not only did he squeeze the bag when he was picking them up, he jammed them into a bag with bottles. I opened the bag when I got home and as could be expected, all I have are crumbs

Love HEB! I was so excited when we moved to Abilene and found out they had one. I just wish is was a super HEB with even more to offer than they already do!

HEB has a large selection at good prices. Im just disappointed that several companies whose products I loved, apparently went out of business during this round of the COVID crisis. Heb has excellent products from their own departments, professionally prepared. Ive never been disappointed with their own products.

HEB in Abilene is very clean, well organized and stocked well, except for simple meals. Although they do have them, both micro wave and oven, their sandwiches are limited. Otherwise, the store is very clean well organized and staff are helpful and friendly.

I just want to say that I’ve been a loyal customer of HEB Abilene for a little over twenty years now, and the HEB pharmacy for about eight years.For a large majority of those years I’ve been a happy customer, but over the last few years the younger employees of your store have ruined that experience.They are rude, inconsiderate, and not very helpful.The personal shoppers are the worst, with the big carts they pull around. They leave them in the middle of the isles blocking them, while they’re getting things from the shelves. They’ll stand in the isles talking with friends or other employees, or playing on their phone.Saying excuse me doesn’t work because they’ll just ignore you or give a dirty look, I guess they’re conversation is more important than the customer.Grocery baggers are no different, if you can actually get one, they are rough with breakable items. more that once I’ve found broken eggs or crushed bread while unpacking at home.Today though my rude employee was a cashier.As usual there was no bagger, so items where piling up by time I had everything on the belt.I picked up a box of Mac and cheese that had nearly been crushed flat. I pointed it out to her and asked for a different one, she treated the situation like it was too much trouble for her. I told her it wasn’t like that when I picked it up off the shelf. Maybe I’m being nit picky but if the box was crushed on the shelf I wouldn’t have grabbed it.I said never mind forget it, but as I was putting bags in the cart she slammed my eggs down on the counter.I called her on it as I was checking them, miraculously none were broken. She denied it of course, I told her I saw you do it.This unfortunately is beyond redemption, I’ve dealt with one to many rude employees and I’m done.From this point on the 2 to 3 hundred dollars a week I spend in your store will be going elsewhere.

Great customer service, always brings an electric cart out to my car for me when I call into the store when I get there. Im disabled and unable to stand for long or walk long distance. And theres always someone to help me out to my car when Im done shopping. I would recommend HEB to anyone, they have the best quality of fresh fruits and vegetables and the best meat market.

Great neighborhood market in Abilene. Friendly employees are plentiful and prices are good. Many exotic, international fruits, veggies and foods. Fresh tortillas, tortilla chips, American and Mexican pastries and donuts.

Whatever you do, don’t use their curbside pick up. They allow too many people to schedule their pick up at the same time and do not have adequate parking spaces. They expect you to keep driving circles around the aisle hoping you catch one quick enough before someone else gets into it. Not cool H-E-B!!!

Doesnt matter what part of Texas I may be in HEB stores never fail to impress with the excellent selections.

HEB is a good store with a wide range of products. They have specialty items from other countries and cultures that other grocery stores do not have. The prices are competitive and they have good sales every once in a while. The bad is they do not do grocery carry-out, yet they attract a huge range of socio-economic levels. This locations grocery pick-up is almost always very bad. There are usually substitutions that they text or email me about and I am usually missing at least one item once I get home. I do not recommend the grocery pick-up, But Im store is good.

It is raining and HEB has a lot of leaks in their roof. It was a mess.However, really like their weekday morning cashier in the 14 items or less register. She is always pleasant and efficient.

Friday late and the store wasnt very busy. Still out of stuff you wouldnt expect, but with covid, who knows anymore?

I usually love shopping at H-E-B, but I was not impressed with this location at all. Tight, cramped parking, not enough spots for curbside pickup, and the employee we dealt with was rude. And, by the looks of the random people walking around and hanging out in the parking lot, it doesn’t appear to be a very safe location. Too bad this is the only H-E-B in town. I will not be shopping here again.

An employee at heb had know reason to put his hands on me and my husband confronted him about it and a manager and they said they would review the tape and was told by the manager that they could not see anything on the camara. The employee should have known better and the manager isnt doing anything about it so on Monday we are calling corporate. These people only see what they want to especially when someone is shoplifting. There are cameras everwhere in that store and has caught a shoplifter in that same area so how did the cameras not see that. I feel it is a manger lieing for an employee

Professional and courteous staff, especially in the bakery department. They baked some cookies for me on the spot that they were out of and did so in a timely manner, and the cookies were phenomenal.

Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HEB!!! I have completed weened myself off of Walmart. Very proud of that because I refuse to support such a bad company. HEB not only has great selections of products but Their actual brand is often better than thename brands. Customer service and product availability has always been on point. The only issue lately has been the shoppers for online orders. Sometimes theres so many of them (but its like that everywhere) and they arent as friendly as they were before the mask mandate. I feel they believe with a mask they dont have to acknowledge the customer or if they are in the way or blocking stuff and not even trying to move? Idk, its a rare problem but noticeable because well, theyve always had great customer service. Does not deter me what so ever from shopping there though. HEB is a true gem in Texas!!
