Great company, great customer service. My grandmother needed a remote fixed and they took time out of their day and gave her a remote free of charge. Highly recommend.
Completely dissatisfied with this company! We purchased a fireplace along with some porcelain panels in Nov and when we received our order Dec 1, the unit was damaged. Gorman promised to replace the damaged screens and offered to give us a can of paint to repair the scratches around the fireplace on our own. Then during installation of this unit, we came to realize the panels sold to us, were not compatible with the unit we purchased and to top it off, we only received one panel when the unit clearly needed two. I called Gorman and was told I needed to wait to speak with our salesman to get the right panels. (It is now July and he nor any other salesman ever called us.) In about Feb our screens had come in so we drove the 2 hour drive, picked them up along with our can of paint and dropped of the panel, came home and found that the screens picked up were the wrong size for the unit! From that point through May I called countless times regarding the panel and screens only to be told my salesman was unavailable and I would be called back. Finally in June I told Araceli (the receptionist?) that this had been drug on long enough and we needed the screens and either the right panels or our refund. Her excuse was that our salesman had a medical emergency and that was why we had never been called back... Finally in June my screens came in and Araceli said they would just refund our money for the panel but I would be charged a $75 shipping fee and a 20% restocking fee! Ridiculous. The panel was $74.25! This was in no way our fault. On July 7, I made the trip to the store to pick up my screens that had finally come in and there Araceli finally gave me my full refund for my panel only to throw the refund receipt at me and walk away without saying a word. Absolutely unacceptable and flat out rude. I did nothing to receive this type of customer service. In my eyes, I was absolutely patient and definitely the one inconvenienced given my one way 2 hour drive time each of my 3 trips to the store.
