I talked to Erv and he helped me out a lot as far as info on what I’m going to do with my system in the future. He was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be coming back.
Horrible customer service from Erv. Mike the owner seems cool but Erv has him wrapped around his finger because of his sales numbers. Mike told me he refuses to let him go because he’s afraid his business will suffer. If there is anyone out there with experience in audio that would like a job in stereo sales and customer service that knows how to treat people with common courtesy, then Paradise Village could use a person like you! Help rid them of Erv’s toxic personality that plagues this business. Mike deserves it after all the years he’s been serving the Albuquerque area.
Paradise Village recently performed a perfect install on my truck, 2006 Toyota Tundra, even working into the night to get it done. After months of COVID-induced delay from the JBL factory, my StealthBox arrived. Upon delivery Ervey and Gustavo worked to install my system well past business hours and even delivered my truck straight to my house ready to bump on a Friday night. I am so grateful for their hard work! The new JBL stealthbox, component speakers, and dynamat treatment all sound amazing. I cant wait to see what it sounds like after the 30 hour subwoofer break-in period when I can really crank it up! Im looking forward to the complimentary consultation/tuning/crunking of the amp once the new woofer is supple enough to accept beefer voltage from my new 5-channel amp! In my experience over the past five years Paradise Village has demonstrated an experienced salesforce that has accurately perceived my requirements, and has accomplished the work through a group of highly competent technicians. In addition, they have performed on-the-spot follow-up for audio tuning while educating me on the function of my new system. Getting A DVD installed on an SUV was better than going to those stores that are a CHAIN. I found a statute of JOHN WAYNE. Your Visit here wont be in VAIN. They work everything in the FAST LANE. They will make your stereo sound louder than a PLANE. They wont give your wallet PAIN, because their prices are INSANE. I took a Selfie with some of them and JOHN WAYNE..The staff here is so friendly so you will never COMPLAIN..the girl in the picture reminds me of someone I know named JANE.

Waste of time with the stereo installer very unprofessional and cussing around my son multiple times and just making prices off the top of his head will not go back
8 years ago I put in 4 6x8 in my excursion and the amplifier wasnt bolted down... so it started moving around and the ground wire disconnected. Then later on the amp wire fuse wasnt screwed down and it fell just dangling... to this day I never fixed it I just took out the amp wire. Altogether the price was 1800 dollars with 4 kenwood 6x8, kenwood amplifier, and a alpine over console tv. The tv still works but with no sound. I use a bluetooth speaker to play music which is annoying..

Purchased a vehicle for my son and the previous owner had completely messed up the wiring for the head unit and speakers. I took it to Paradise Village and they were able to take me in at the last minute and get it rewired and even installed the steering wheel harness. Very satisfied. Thank you.
So I was in the process of making my own speaker box for a sxs. I called every audio store in town and nobody had 6x9 speaker covers. They went out of their way to get me some. And the best part!! They were free!!! What company does that!!?? Paradise village does!! My number 1 car audio store in Albuquerque! Just a great group of people!!
Ive been there multiple times for the same problems and they continue to install not reliable products and the installation of my bass speaker wasnt even strapped properly so when I turned it rolled around and slammed into the side of the trunk. The amps last for a couple months then just die. Best think they did was put in a new radio and thats it. This place is hotdog water.

3 visits to there shop and my preset channels erase everytime I turn the vehicle off and the radio wont dim when I turn my lights off. They should find help that is quality control minded. Who they have really sux.
Well I think irv knock it out of the ballpark. He would say I was waiting for you to say that. So I knew what he was talking about. And he didnt try to push anything on me. Have me a good deal. Ill most positively go back to Getty more stuff.And the so called know it alls. Order the things online and install it yourself. LMAO
Came in for what I thought was a major radio repair. These experts were able to help fix the problem which ended up being minor. They were professional and helpful. I would recommend them to anybody!

This was a nightmare! BEWARE of this place. Quoted me 80 for a radio install. The some clown with a man bun told me 155.00 . Owner was also rude after driving 90 miles for my install. On a 70 Chevrolet truck. The told me it required special wiring. Even funnier was the same clown was at King Kong buying stereos to sell at paradise village. King Kong did the entire install for 40.00... beware of paradise village..AVOID them
Went to go see if I needed new speakers. Erv, came to the rescue and not only told me naw your speakers are fine, he hooked up my box and sent me on way with a no problem! Your service was acceptional Erv! To whom it may concern, give Erv a raise!! 😄 Rock on!
I started my Ford Cmax one morning. The radios volume and channel wouldnt change, no matter how I pressed the buttons, nor shut off when I pressed the control.I better be happy with that one station no matter what, I thought.The dealership said it would cost $80 for a diagnostic test. If I needed a new radio computer, that would be over $700.I found Paradise Village by calling around.Their mechanic, Ricky Ward, listened to me, gave me the odds of fixing the problem with what he knew to do, and only charged me $35 to correct the situation in about 15 minutes.
I was very impressed with the service that I received. I went inside to get a quote for vehicle-speaker installation (bought through Amazon) and I was quoted the cheapest in town. Best Buy quoted me higher including I would have to buy extra parts on their behalf. The staff was VERY friendly at Paradise Village and I am definitely returning again for stereo installation. I am very pleased to do business with a privately owned company like this here in our city. Thank you!

I am so impressed with the service at Paradise Village. My experience was amazing. I felt like I was appreciated from the moment I got there to the minute I left. I was able to get a brand new stereo system installed in my car that day, and the guy that installed it for me was very friendly and helpful and made sure that everything worked correctly before I left.I love how they have in-house financing so I didnt have to have a lot of money to get exactly what I wanted. I was also able to get a beautiful TV. Its a blessing to say that the stereo and appliances that I purchased from Paradise Village have brought my family closer. We love listening to our favorite songs on our brand new stereo that has Bluetooth and Pandora. I’ve lived here for about four years and today was the first time I’ve been to Paradise Village. I came in with some questions about an after market speaker set up for an 05 Trailblazer. Scott could have easily attempted to up sell me. Instead, he offered his expertise, which initially did not result in a sale. I did come back later to purchase an amplifier that Scott suggested. I will absolutely be back when I’m in the market for for more equipment. Excellent staff, excellent products!

Went to have some speakers installed, but they gave me such a good deal on a system that includes everything including bluetooth which is great because then you have no reason to be texting or calling anybody putting other people in danger because you need to gossip about nothing that couldnt wait until you got home and gossiped without putting other lives in danger. I will definitely be going back to get the works.
I went in fully ready to buy. I got a saleswoman who could not answer why the Jensen stereos were $50 more than Walmart and Amazon. Could not answer why she said the Sony was a better sound. No demos. “This is how it is.” I could not get a justification of price. I didn’t understand the high prices to value.So, we went to another place. If a business can not justify price and value... which they did in my last purchase, I won’t do business with them. What part of that is difficult?
I went to this place many times before and I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment with them for about 5-6 months, finally I get an appointment and I ask for them to put a door actuator in my passenger side because they have already put one on my driver side( and I went to get the drivers side fixed which they said was still under warranty) but they put a new one in the drivers side and didn’t even look at the passenger side, and they charged me for a actuator that I never got, and to make things worse I’m a mechanic and I look at what they did and they left wires hanging all underneath my dash and underneath my hood, I’m very disappointed with the way they handled it.
I went into take a look at stereos. The lady there was really nice and then a tall gentleman helped us. I wanted a touch screen stereo but the ones they had were way over priced. The guy that helped us went to look at my truck and came back and said oh the wiring harness is gone. Well we knew better whoever had the truck before took their aftermarket stereo out. He didnt bother looking because ALL the wiring was there. The only thing that wasnt was the pigtails to connect the new stereo. Then he tried to sell us a Sony pretty much base model for 249.00. For installation with that radio it was going to be 490 dollars roughly. Glad I looked around because we found that same exact radio for 109 dollars at best buy! Glad Im going elsewhere! Got a great deal on a super nice Kenwood which they had priced at 599 at Paradise. I get the stereo with all that I wanted including the onstar wiring needed for pretty much the same price. Beware and shop around!
I came to this location to look for car stereos and speakers, the reviews were great from other customers. I came to the location twice during business hours but yet the door was locked, nothing on the door indicating the hours maybedifferent so I just gave up. Ill take my business elsewhere to a place that is actually open to customers and doesnt have false hours listed.
If you get a quote make sure you get it in writing! A mans word these days are not a guarantee. When I went to get the work done the price was higher by 150.00 bucks! Paul said he would get back with you! he Never did he leaves you hanging! I have done TONS of business with this company NOT ANYMORE they have gone down hill! Horrible customer service! I took my 2016 WRX here to have the audio system upgraded. Initially I thought I had selected a good company to make this upgrade for me. It turned out to be a huge mistake. I had the initial work done pre pandemic and they completed most of the work and were waiting on one part. They took apart part of the center console that didnt need to touched for this job. Rather then putting it back together they left it taken apart out of laziness and told me they would get to it when the part arrived. If this wasnt enough the stereo they installed was not compatible with my backup camera. The backup guide lines no longer function properly. They actually downgraded my vehicle. When businesses reopened I started trying to contact these guys to have the job finished. They repeatedly dodged me on the phone. I finally went down to the business and got them to install the part. They still didnt put the center console back together. One salesman accused me of lying as if I would take my own center console apart for any reason. He then acted like he was doing me a favor after his company did a poor job, and proceed to be very rude to me. He basically took the position I didnt work on this car so why are you getting mad at me, well because you are a representative of this company. Ahhhh duuurrrr. The audacity and poor customer service was remarkable. I finally talked with the owner who said he would make it right, but he wouldnt commit on the spot to replacing the unit with something that is fully compatible with my backup camera. He told me to call him in a week. While I do appreciate him trying to do something about it (if he wasnt just jerking my chain, which he may have been) at this point im not willing to let his clearly unprofessional technicians go anywhere near my car, so I will just have to live with my downgraded system.Additionally these guys unplugged plug my subwoofer cable from the dashboard unit the second time they worked on my car. I had to spend hours of my own time diagnosing this problem. I had to remove my glove glove box, and part of the dashboard to get behind the radio. I also found a bolt they didnt put back in. If you dont have the electronics/mechanics skills to fix what these guys screw up spend your money elsewhere.

Friendly but don’t seem to know what they are doing. Dropped my car off at 11. At about 2 get a call saying another key fob is needed. The quote started at $350 and ended up topping $500. That seems like a big detail to miss.Don’t waste you time here, thanks Carlos now I’ll wait until after Christmas to get it done some places else.

I stopped in at paradise village recently just to look around and after talking to Don I soon realized that my home system that I bought elsewhere had been installed incorrectly. it made sound, but it wasnt even close to reaching its potential. Don said he would come by my house and take a look later that evening. He showed up a little late, but he called and tole me he would be late. he was at my house for an hour and after some adjusting and moving of input cables my system was jammmmming!!!!on top of that, he wouldnt let me pay him, simply saying, next time youre in need of home theater, car audio and video please stop by so we can help you. I highly recommend this store.

I purchased a bluetooth radio/cd for my car, which Paradise ordered. I wasnt given a choice of models/types/features and am very disappointed with the unit I got. Didnt want to pay for a new installation to replace, so I am a dissatisfied customer.

These guys are great and very honest. I came to them with a short notice Amp Install where I had drilled the hole in my firewall myself and ask them to finish the job. What I didnt know was that the wire that I bought had a fault in it on one end. These guys trouble shot it at no extra cost and installed everything perfectly. I would definitely recommend anyone to them.

Amazing experience!. We were looking to upgrade our system to a sweet Kenwood, We called Paradise Village and spoke with Don. His price was over $700 less than our first quote from another dealer in town. We were shocked at the difference for the exact same model and install. We dropped the car off at noon and they had the work completed at 6. Everything looked perfect!! They spent another 20 min going over all the features which was really appreciated. This company is first class and all of the staff was professional and friendly. The best past was that they gave us a fair price and we felt that were were treated with respect. I went in just to have my amp and woofers looked at and they figured out what was wrong in no time. I also bought a new deck and I never felt pressured, no trying to sell me the most expensive thing even though that wasnt a concern, it was just good to deal with people who know the business so well and not just salespeople or someone trying to make their store the most money. Chuy really knows what he is doing too, got me exactly what I was looking for and dialed the sound in that Ive always wanted and Ive had the system for 10+ years! Went to this establishment to ask some questions about my current surround sound system and buy some in ceiling speakers. The salesman wouldnt give the time of day. He wasnt knowledgeable about anything. I was inside for less than 5 minutes before I realized they didnt want my business. I left and bought some speakers at a way better place.
I was looking for a new GPS/car audio system but I had no clue what would be best. The sales rep went over options and I picked a system, I also added speakers and a compact bass. Installation was on time and when I went to pick up my truck, the salesman spent about 45 minutes going over the features and operation to insure that I knew how to get the most out of my new system. The speakers and bass are amazing. I would not have gotten the same high level of information and service from a big-box store. 5 stars

Bought a head unit for my car from Paradise Village.spent well over a $1300.00 for a supposed good brand and was told my after sales service would be world class.After I had some trouble with the unit within a couple of weeks, I called PV back and they treated me like they found me under a rock.Told me I have voided the warranty from the manufacture and that they would not do anything for me, other than maybe send it in and maybe I might get it back in a couple of months??!!I asked about a refund if they couldnt help me and they said no and hung up on me.Yes they blamed me for using the unit incorrectly!I called the manufacture and they informed me I HAD NOT done anything wrong or voided the warranty and they could help me.They directed me to two local shops that handled their brand.I called them both, one said to bring it in and they would look at it and the other helped me over the phone.Keep in mind I did not spend any money with either shop and they were more than happy to help me for free.The face plate that PV installed on the $$$$$ install is coming off on the corner and when they installed they pulled off a plug and broke it and didnt bother to put it back on or even tell me about it.I found out later I paid a lot more than the 2 other shops would have charged me for the same unit and install.I will go to the shop that helped me and have them fix Paradise Village Electronics install.Make up your own mind about Paradise Village Electronics.I will not be going back.Edward.
In April, 2012, we purchased 2 55 inch TVs from Paradise Valley. They delivered and installed including a wall mount for one of them. Then in January, 2014, I had them install a sattilite radio in my vehicle.All of this was done by appointment in a timely and efficient manner with the equipment performing as it should. A great professional job on both jobs.
Sales staff (Carlos) very rude and unwilling to give simple tech support (questions) without being paid. Thier motto is BUY AND INSTALL FROM US AND WE WILL HELP WITH YOUR NEEDS OR QUESTIONS. I will never purchase anything from this company again. Taking my business down the street. I hope that other consumers heed the warning. Ill pass this along to friends and business associates.
We were traveling through town and we blew a fuse on our inverter system, and they replaced it on short notice and did so quickly... saved our LIVES! Carlos is the best!!
I bought my daughter, who lives in Colorado, a remote start for her Subaru. For some strange reason, the remote start unit went crazy after she changed the car battery. It would start itself every time the driver would push the lock button on the fob. To make the story short, the car drove itself into a pole repeatedly. When presented to Paradise Village, they were wonderful. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. They installed a completely new remote start unit, had the front bumper fixed and painted, and replaced the rock guard under the engine. They had reps from Subaru and Viper trying to figure the situation out. We could not be more pleased withh their service. I would go there again in a heart beat.

After a ridiculous experience at Audio Suxpress a few years ago I took my hummer to these guys. They installed several thousand dollars worth of audio and security gear and it has functioned flawlessly since. Their customer service is amazing, everyone is super knowledgeable, and the dude they have actually installing stuff back there is a badass. Highly recommend this outfit.
Ive had three car stereos in 30 years installed by this score. since moving from New Mexico I had my last car stereo installed by car toys in Hurst Texas . They did a perfect job they were polite and I never had a problem.My last car stereo last week I had installed here at Paradise village. A guy who installed it was extremely rude. I asked him to show me some features on the car stereo for a second time. He barked at me and says I will show you only one more time. I made a complaint to the owner about him and the owner agreed with me. Doing business in New Mexico is always a disaster. The owner said he owns shops in other states and he hears the same thing over and over.Most importantly every time the car is parked at a light when the engine is idling the car stereo vibrates and makes horrible noise in the dash.I no I would not recommend this store!!!And by the way the guy who is rude his name is Carlos. Look at what the other reviews say about him. Im not the only one!!

Im sure imperfections and delays have happened in other peoples experiences, but it hasnt been my experience. I trust these guys with my system in any of my cars which Im planning out right now.

Horrible install, no tuning at all damaged my speakers due to improper install and when I spent $1500 on this horrible install they said an $80 in store credit was all they could do. I had to spend $500 at a different audio store. Dont waste your time or money here.

Best price and service in Albuquerque area, shopped around for car audio system and could not find anywhere even close to Paradise Villiages prices. After the car was finished, I was thrilled with he quality and the care their installation crew used on my car. My favorite part was that they needed to do more work than they quoted me, but did not raise the price when I picked up the car. Could not be happier with my experience with Paradise Villiage.
We bought a complete home theater system from them, $4000.00 worth. My partner thought we should support a local business. Here are the problems: 1. I found out after later research it was over priced by about 20%. 2. The equipment is substandard. They said the Boston Acoustics speakers were better than the Bose we had...NOT! The subwoofer also makes a clicking noise when it kicks in...we were told that was normal after it was too late to exchange it. The Denon receiver is not a quality piece of equipment; the programming interface is not intuitive at all. 3. When trying to get service it took several months and many phone calls to get them to come. Then they charged for programming the remote that was not done correctly in the first place. 4. The receiver had a networking issue and wouldnt hold the program in the flash memory so I had to redo it every couple of weeks. When I spoke with Mike he promised he would take care of it. He also promised make right the inappropriate earlier service charge. The very next day he denied ever saying anything about the service charge. 5. I was insulted by one of their employees, Raul, about the other sound system in the house, which has NEVER had any problems. That was just plain rude. These people seem typical for customer service in New Mexico. At least that has been my experience for the nine years Ive been here. Ive not had this kind of experience at the big box stores and I will hesitate to do local business for this type of purchase in the future. I would also not recommend Paradise Village for your A/V needs.
Had them mount a couple TVs for me. I purchased a new 4K TV and I knew that my previous HDMI cable running through the wall (that they actually fished through the wall years ago) would also need to be updated.Mike even knew this was likely when I spoke to him over the phone. When the employees arrived, I was immediately told there’d be no need and the hdmi cable would work fine. I even got the old “we’ve done this a million times, it’s true” spiel.When I got technical and explained to them the difference between older high speed HDMI cables and newer ones, including the 18gbps bandwidth necessary for 4K content at 10 bits like the TV is capable of doing, they hesitated and insisted I just try it out.Unfortunately I didn’t have anything that would produce that kind of content, so it seemed like they were right, but I knew when I got my Xbox one X in later that would change. I ended up right, of course.So they did absolutely nothing other than mount two TVs for $300 on old mounts with the preexisting wires. I could’ve done that myself, the entire time they were there was really spent debating the HDMI capabilities they were wrong about.So I called Mike and told him I have a 20 foot HDMI cable now being ran outside my wall because they refused to do what they should’ve done and just installed it then and there. I even said they can just fish it through an easier way and I’d run it through the floor board the rest of the way. He said not to worry and they’d handle it. It’s been over a month since then, I’ve even texted him, and he hasn’t responded.So I’m leaving this review in an attempt to let people know they can be really shady. It’s unfortunate because Mike has been otherwise good to deal with, but this is a bad experience he’s ignoring. I still hope they’ll rectify it and do things right, so I’ll change my review if so. We shall see.

I took my Nissan here and I bought a new car radio. everything was great but I noticed the airbag light was blinking (this is apparently a thing with Nissan sometimes) so a week later I took it back and Carlos took care of it these guys do good work thanks!

I bought a Bavsound speaker upgrade for my BMW M240i and wanted Paradise Village to install it. When my wife trip showed up to drop the car off on the first appointment, they told her that another install was running late so we would have to reschedule. I rescheduled to the following Saturday and, even though the installation was completed a little later then estimated, it was done to my satisfaction. I decided to also upgrade the subwoofers and made a subsequent appointment for the following Saturday. The Friday night before my appointment I got a call from their scheduler saying that Ricky was running late with another installation and was not be able to honor my appointment at 9 AM. They had originally agreed my car would be done by 1:30 PM, but I asked if I could leave it there until 6 pm, could they complete it. She went to check with Ricky and after a few minutes Paul got on the phone and said that he would not be able to complete it because they had some other work ahead of it. I said I was confused by this because I thought that I would be the next in line given my 9 AM appointment, but he said that they had work they had to do for their own shop, and that that was more important than my work. This is the main reason for my low rating. I feel that it is very poor customer service to put their own needs before the needs of the customer, and honoring their commitment. I subsequently installed the subwoofers myself, and would never do business with this company again.
