I took my 2013 Rubicon there for a new stereo and back up camera. They were able to get me in on the same day and the products that were recommended were very nicely installed. There was an issue with the microphone and they fixed it immediately the next day. I was a little disappointed because the prices went up literally as I was standing in the store so I was charged more than the price tag stated. Carlos in particular was great to work with. He was patient, knowledgeable and just overall very kind and attentive. I did not feel like he was trying to sell me on anything but recommend good products and answered all of my questions.

I called ahead and asked for a price on a radio. They set it aside for me even tho I decided to upgrade when I got there. I thought it would be a walk in and walk out. That wasn’t the case. It was 30 min before closing and it was crazy. People seemed to be in a slight panic. One employee had to leave which left the other gentlemen alone. I never got direct attention from any one person. It was always let me grab that for you and then they do a bunch of other stuff. Everyone was friendly outside of the general chaos. I got home and started switching the radio around to find out that I was short a harness for steering control. It wasn’t offered so I thought I had gotten the wrong radio or harness. I didn’t know it was separate so I was planning on bringing it all back and waiting and having a professional install it. That’s when I found out that there were no returns? This store has an overall good review with a couple here and there bad reviews which means this store definitely values their work and credibility. Why no refunds then? I didn’t know that the spot I was signing at the bottom of the receipt wasn’t actually agreeing to the price but agreeing to no returns. Luckily I figured out that the steering wheel control harness is all I needed and I ordered it. The price I was given for a module was 109$ at the store but I did find a wire harness that does the same thing from metra for 10$ on Amazon. I installed the radio without the steering control and it works great and I love it. Overall great products just a couple of minor issues and then a big one with NO REFUNDS.

Had car alarm installed on my car, they said I’d only have one key fob to operate everything, nope! I have to have both my stock and Viper key fobs together all the time.Waited 5 1/2 hours for the installation, I’m from out of town, couldn’t sit in the waiting room, they should have a shade tent outside for people waiting!Came back a couple of weeks later for the tilt sensor install, went and had bfast, car was still sitting outside when I got back an hour n half later, complained about to have it deleted, boss man got my car in and it was done in 20 minutes.This isn’t the first time it took all day. Gonna have to get instructions to get it done right!Good luck!

This was the last time I will ever go to Audio Express. What a rip off. They have no earthly idea what they are doing there.very rude. No customer skills whatsoever. And to top things off they are selling warranties that arent worth the paper they are written on. Never again. Going to be shopping at Paradise Village from now on. I bought speakers and warranty here. The coils froze on speakers so I took them back to swap them out. The warranty is good until November we are in July and Manager would not honor warranty. BUYER BEWARE, SHOP ELSEWHERE YOULL BE GLAD YOU DID

Courteous and helpful all along the way. On the day I brought in my vehicle for an install they were slammed but everyone was very professional and finished the job early. Have had issues with my alarm tripping itself up (remote start goes offline on occasion) and the Audio Express team are always helpful to get it fixed fast.

I had a pretty good experience at Audio Express. Brad was very helpful with what subwoofer I wanted in my car. The only issue I had was when it was time to get my car, the check engine light was on ( it was not on before) and I went to get it checked out and my accelerator pedal isn’t operating as well as it should. Overall, good experience and great staff just the issue with my check engine light.

I recently had some work done on an emergency break at another mechanic shop and they broke my radio. After Audio Express had installed there was a speaker that was still not working. After talking with Dylan about it he went above and beyond to go back and inspect another part of the audio equipment. He found the issue was caused by the other mechanic shop and offered to talk to the other mechanic about the issue. It all worked out because of his great customer service and his commitment to a great experience. Side note they were very COVID-19 safe and included a plastic seat cover and floor mat cover to keep everything nice and clean.

Waited two weeks for alarm to be installed went the day of appointment was told several times my vehicle was next got pushed to end of day then was told they could not do install and had to reschedule. Finally after 3 weeks from original purchase date I finally have everything installed. Very disappointed with customer service. Unfortunately I will not be doing anymore business with Audio Express.

Not the Best Experience, They had Sold me a Bunch a things saying It Was Exactly What I Need For $2,000 when I Wanted to Cancel they Said Theres No Refund or Return Policy or Harm My Credit. So I Had them Uninstall What I Had already had in my Car To Reinstall everything nice and Clean. Which I Never Got Back What I Had in the Car but Burned equalizer, and Kept All My old wires and two Volume knobs I Had in my Car... Plus the new System Dont Even Sounds Like Is Install right I High up the Volume Knob which is the New they Had installed and Dont Even Heard The Difference. Not Happy With Them At All Because After Day No Body Had Called me Back.

Came in to get a alarm installed and everything on my truck was working fine except after installing the alarm my turn signals fuse was blowing I had never had this issue happen even before the alarm was installed these guys work off commission and they will try to sell you anything just to make their money but I feel like I got robbed I would not recommend this place I would recommend king Kong customs they are the best in town even when I brought up the situation to the general manager Devin he has no prior experience on handling situations Think about spending your money here would not recommend at all.

Brad was awesome on getting me in way ahead of my scheduled date. The only problem I had is my check engine light was on and it has something to do with my Excelerator pad. My car is a 2020 not too sure what the reason being but when I press on my gas pedal it seems to stall, never had this problem before it’s a new car

Staff are very friendly and helpful, more than willing to answer questions and show how to use equipment while also explaining the differences between models, brands etc. The turn around time for the service was quick and I like that they took precautions to cover car seats and rugs. The interior was clean when I picked up the vehicle.The downside was, they disconnected my built in controls on my steering wheel for radio volume and answering incoming phone calls.It will be an extra charge for them to reconnect those with a adaptor kit.

Customer service left something to be desired...was not greeted when we walked in. Products and instillation were fine bit was charged for shipping when they should have had the part there. We wont be going back.

Buyer Beware!!!! This place offers no refunds whatsoever. They took my payment before I found this out. It’s written on the back of a form they give you after they receive payment but they do not explain this or have it posted anywhere in the store. Currently filing a complaint through the NM Attorney Generals Office and I encourage anyone else that has been scammed by Audio Express to also file a report.I did speak with Devin. He told me to email corporate and they didn’t respond after several attempts. Finally got a response after filing a report with the Attorney Generals Office. Audio Express still refused a refund. Finally got a refund after disputing the charge through my bank since I received no services or goods.

You can definitely tell the employees here work off commission. The long haired guy that works here could care less with what youre interested in. He is more concerned with what he wants to sell you. Went to Mesa Radio and found a much better deal.

This place was a cool spot. I was looking for a subwoofer to put in my car and when I arrived I was immediately greeted. The sales person, Ben, showed me some options and helped me make a decision on a sub. He was also able to get the install in that day, which I appreciated, as I was in from out of town.I waited to write a review to see how the speaker worked out and it is exactly what I wanted. Ben also invited me back in a few weeks to check up on the tuning of the sub. I have already recommended friends and family to check these guys out for all their car audio needs. I put down a pretty penny but all in all, no regrets. If you end up going to Audio Express hit up Been Jammin’ (Benjamin), he’s a cool cat.

I was highly impressed with changes from early 2000s. I visited 2 locations in Albuquerque, NM. They had alot of high end products in stock which is rare for a stereo shop. It was nice to see high end products and get answers to questions about them. They have a massive amount of knowledge and experience installing quality products and custom set ups. They can do top notch work if you are will to pay for it. They carry everything from JL, Kicker, Kenwood, Stinger. They can do Focal, Rockford just about any brand you want from sq to spl.

Waited 18 min. Then the price quoted me was so ridiculous I got it for almost half the price he quoted me for a cheap alarm system in the south valley. But the salesman was a nice person.

I hate to give a 3 star but I feel I have no choice. The salesman and management was great but the workmanship was flat out terrible from the tech that originally did my truck. I had to go back in the next day and have another tech fix everything that the other one completely messed up on. Great customer service poor quality of work.

The only reason that Im gonna give audio express on San Mateo and Lomas 4 stars instead of 5 is because they told me the wires on the new harness would color match the wires on the old harness and they werent even close. Other than that I got amazing service from Ben who was very helpful in finding exactly what I needed both on the phone and and in person. I would absolutely recommend these guys for any of your audio needs.

If you want the worst service and least knowledge from retail go to this location. Will sell you nothing but the wrong parts and wont refund you your money when you go back to get the right ones. I stopped in to get pricing to upgrade/replace the the factory sound system in my dear old ‘03 Land Cruiser. I also wanted wanted to add Bluetooth and a backup camera that would work with the existing 18 year old factory navigation screen. My man Ben there at the San Mateo store hooked it up! He was patient with answering my five hundred and one questions. It was a Saturday that I stopped in so naturally there were a few number of customers in the store, and not once did I ever feel rushed. That brother is very knowledgeable, friendly and most certainly professional! I got the Bluetooth installed a few days later and I definitely plan to spend a little bit of coin to get the stereo upgrade that Ben helped map out for me in the weeks to come.In this day in age when good customer service is becoming harder to find, not there at the San Mateo store. We went in to purchase a car alarm with remote start for our vehicle. We picked the car up the next day and the price went up by $100. First red flag. A price shouldn’t change from the original quote. We take the car home and the “remote start” has to have the key in the ignition for it to stay on. Defeats the purpose of having a remote start. We will be contacting the store when they open up and hope the issue is resolved. Stay away from this place at all costs. Shady, shady, shady!!

Fantastic customer service. They were really busy but still managed to squeeze me in due to me traveling out of state in 2 days. Brad spent hours with me helping me get the perfect sound for my car, due to my indecisiveness, and patiently explained everything to me so that I would understand. Amazing quality Sub/Amp and installation was perfect with the installers going out of their way to make my sub the best it could be. Brad even responded to my texts after hours to help me with additional questions I had. Less than a star. Do not trust this place. Had work done a couple years ago. Tried to install new system and found a rats nest of wires that is messing with everything in the vehicle. Theres is a reason its only 1 dollar for installation, horrific. How these people were allowed to touch anything electrical in any vehicle is baffling. Save yourself the problems and hazards.

Fine print on returning items even when unopened. They wont do it. Except in store credit, even with receipt.

I will never take any of my vehicles there ever again. They installed a radio for me and it caused all kinds of things to short out in my dash including the passenger side airbag and the climate control not to work. It was so bad, I had to take it to the Ford dealership to have them rewire the dash.

Salesman Ben was beyond great. Can’t explain how cool and good this dude is. I normally shop at the audio express on westside but decided to stop at the eastside one. Glad I did. Will now be going there as long as Ben is there. The boys in the back also were awesome with the install. Really appreciate it all.
