Dr was insistent on giving me a new prescription when what I really needed was a referral to an eye specialist. Believing her, I paid $800+ for glasses that I could not wear. When I tried to talk to anyone at that place I just got brushed off. Left message after message and no response. Finally after a few months I did get a referral to an eye specialist who confirmed that I need eye surgery and no prescription would help me see better. I tried again to get some sort of compensation for my eye glass expense thru Contact Lens Associates and was told they cant help me because it has been more then 2 months since I received the glasses. Bottom line here is they got their money and thats all they care about. In my opinion its fraud to receive money from me and my insurance under false diagnosis. Avoid this place.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! From the very first phone call until my order was completed. The staff are s extremely professional. I don’t have insurance that can be used there so I had to pay out of pocket which is what I had planned for. I was looking at some of the more expensive frames and wanted to order lenses that are $400+. The staff didn’t treat me any different nor did they look down on me for how I was dressed. I was in work clothes, but I could’ve been mistaken as someone who doesn’t have the means to purchase what I was asking for. It’s rare to experience that level of professionalism. You now have a customer as long as you remain open and I will send whomever asks for glasses your way! Thank you so very much.

Terrible service from office staff.I went there for glasses. They are by appointment only.At 4 pm on the day I got my glasses, I realized that the nose piece was too tight. I had red marks, indentations and pain from my glasses. I was expecting that I could speaker with the fitter and run over to get the nose pieces adjusted, a 5 minute fix. They wouldn’t see me, and couldn’t give me an appointment until 2 pm the next day. In 50 years of wearing glasses, this is the only time an office wouldn’t let me drop in for a quick fix.Furthermore, the front office staff are completely disinterested. One has to call from the front door to be let. Both times I went and called from the door, my first call was sent to an answering machine.When I went to pick up my glasses, I heard the staff say through a mask “ sit down”. So I did. After waiting 20 min, I asked the staff about my wait. It turns out she had said “ go around “, so I was sitting in the wrong place. I could have sat there for ever, because no one checked in on me or informed the eye glass person that I was waiting.

Love my glasses and the really help fix them. I’ve gone to places where they just super glue it...I want them fixed even though if I have to pay for it lol.

Terrible “Doctor”!!!! I asked if I could get my prescription that is slightly expired due to no longer having any means of sight correction and being between jobs. I was told that the “Doctor” would have to be asked. I let them know please stress to him I need it to work and I am not in a financial position to pay out of pocket for a visit. I got denied and told you can schedule a visit if you’d like! H E double hockey sticks NO!!! I’ll never visit the money hungry compassion void “Doctor” again!!!!

Dr. Berrett is a wonderful doctor! I have horrible vision and have struggled for years to get my prescriptions correct as they are so bad. Every time the last few years I have gone to Dr. Berrett I have left feeling confident in the prescription given and I always have a pleasant experience both in person or calling in. Absolutely wonderful office and staff!

Absolutely the best experience ever with an Optometrist and staff. Dr. Alice Baumstark is fantastic in all regards. Most thorough exam I have had, superb chair side manner, and a very nice office environment. The staff is very accommodating. Laurie, Dr. Baumstarks assistant conducted a thorough patient intake assessment, while Robin greatly assisted me is selecting a new pair of glasses. Highly recommend.

They gave out paperwork to some random person containing my full name, date of birth, and address. Pretty sure thats illegal, and I will find out. Wish I could give zero stars

Dr. Baumstark is very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I have had to wear glasses/contacts since I was in the 4th grade so I have been to A LOT of eye doctors! Dr. Baumstark is by far the best Ive ever been to! The office staff are also courteous. Highly recommend!

They scratched my lenses during a refit for a frame and wouldnt take responsibility so I am stuck with scratches lenses... I wouldnt recommend anyone use their services.

A friend had suggested them the eye doc very nice the lady who ordered glasses also nice, but the wait for glasses/contacts are just insane as they have yet to call and you get the run around and lied to when you try to retrieve your contacts and glasses will learn and just go elsewhere and agree that way over priced as mentioned in another review especially for such poor service.

I am shopping around for a contact lens exam and contact lens Associates is the most expensive quote Ive had yet. For contact lens Associates you think that they would serve contact lens wearers but I for one could never afford to go and get their exam.

Ridiculous rates if you dont have insurances $270+ just for a contact exam. Its half the price at many other places. Unfortunate for you!!!! 1⭐

My glasses were $600 plus $300 contacts, insurance paid most of it but I still had to pay out of pocket. I got the blue shield, non scratch lenses and they had a scratch on them a month later and broke 3 months later. You might as well buy a pair with Walmart and save your money!
