My son enjoys it very much. So I went in to get him some gift Credits for his birthday. The gentleman at the counter was extremely nice and although they dont have actual cards he gave me little card to put in The birthday card I bought my son.

The gentlemen running this store were super helpful and friendly. They offered to order specific items and gave realistic wait times which is appreciated. If youre looking to get into War Hammer 40k or any other table top game this store is a great place to start.

Excellent local games store with a friendly atmosphere, and importantly a Code of Conduct for players that is listed and enforced. This sorta thing should be standard for game stores as there is often very... lets say “rude” behavior within gaming communities.Excellent selection of board and card games as well as miniatures, painting and other supplies etc.Come here if you want to play in a friendly atmosphere without as many aggressive and rude players.

Went in on my way through town, looking for a copy of CAH for a family gathering. Stood without being acknowledged for 10 minutes as both employees chatted with a regular about Warhammer lists. Probably a great place to be if youre a regular, but I wasnt impressed.

From what i could see they have a fine selection of Warhammer and D&D rules and minis. Plenty of board games to try. Battletech(Aka Mechwarrior), Magic the gathering, dice, and i believe pokemon. They have 5 tables of stuff for sale or that can be bartered for lower prices. So far i greatly enjoyed my first time around. Next time im in new mexico i am stopping by.

What a great store. Ive been searching for a place like this for ages. All the cool tabletop games in one spot. Loads of source books for DnD and other rpgs, board games, MTG, Warhammer, and a very charismatic proprietor of some sort always willing to help.

Man, I love this place. My very first introduction to DnD was playing Adventurers League here, and the staff were super friendly and quick to find us a table. They had a ton of dice to pick from, character sheets, etc. Their collection of board and table top games here is pretty impressive. I like their tab style policy for drinks and such when youre playing here as it makes it very quick to grab a drink/snack and get right back to your game.TL:DR - great people, fun games.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They are dealing with the COVID regulations well and if they dont have what you want, they can order it for you. I havent noticed an absurd markup on their goods and for the most part I think they are competitive with online prices.I cant wait to start gaming there once the plague is over with.

They also sell supplies to create/maintain miniature armies for the more complex games.

Employee was very knowledgeable and friendly, my hubby loves Warhammer 40k so I am trying to get into so we can play together and the nice man behind the counter was able to answer all of my silly questions and help me decide on what army I want to start with.

Amazing customer service! They are knowledgeable about the games they have to play as well as the ones they have for sale. They are very inviting and were able to help me find the right game for the occasion. 15/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a fun time. Not to mention it is free to go and play games anytime they are open. That is amazing. Truly a great experience and I will be back.

Friendly staff. Runs games and campaigns often. Great selection of gaming supplies including mini painting sets and giant dice. One of the last good gaming shops in Albuquerque. My friends all shop there too for dice and campaign supplies. I snagged a Critical Role guide (Taldore) for less than amazon. Highly recommend.

Big beautiful and clean and the staff is so friendly. I found so many nice minis and we found Dungeons and Doggies and Cats and Catacombs. Also Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein minis. I cant wait to visit again one day. Highlight of my trip.

If you plan on coming here to play board games, expect not to. On board game nights, Tuesday and Thursday, 6-8 tables are taken up by miniature players. This is unfair considering what these nights are planned for. I feel like Im not welcome anymore sometimes. I know quite a few people that dont come in anymore because of this. Thats how Im starting to feel as well. What Im saying is, get here early of you want to play boardgames, cause the mini plays will take over the store in a flash.

This place is amazing for tabletop gaming. Just a wonderful place. The people are extremely nice and helping. One and only complaint was the miniatures and dice etc. Are a little over priced but overall I love this place.

Cool little shop for those interested in tabletop gaming. The prices on some of the items are a little outlandish, but thats fairly standard in the retail Local Game Store industry. I would say the best value to be found here is in their weekly painting night, where you can pay $5 to use the paint and other supplies to paint your miniatures. My only real problem is that there is some un-utilized space inside that could be used to sell more items. I bet Magic the Gathering would be a viable additional revenue stream, since MTG and tabletop gaming share a lot of the same fanbase. The gaming tables here could easily be utilized for MTG tournaments, and selling singles and sealed product doesnt require much research or work to sell. So theres a little free advice to the people who run this business. But I hope this business lasts, because a dedicated tabletop gaming space is a difficult business model to get to work for a long period of time. Good luck and godspeed.

A great place to game. Awesome board game collection, excellent RPG selection, and great for miniatures like game workshop (Warhammer). I love the collection of demo games, which lets you try out a board game in the shop before you buy (which also makes for a fun Friday night!). The best part of the shop though is the staff. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this shop for both experienced gamers and anyone new looking for help to understand it.

Very impressed with Ettin Games. They’ve always been super helpful and down to earth. Today, I picked up a game that we were incredibly excited about - got to the car and found that it was missing a piece. Went back in and the gentleman at the front desk helped me troubleshoot what might have happened and how we can rectify the problem with the manufacturer. In the meantime, he replaced the piece free of charge. I was so pleased with his integrity even though this wasn’t something that they were at fault for!

What a fantastic shop! I am really looking forward to bringing my kids here on a regular basis as they get older (4 and 1 now). Im so happy they will have the dream game store I didnt when I was growing up.

It is an amazing location for many individuals. If you are playing Magic the Gathering, D&D, killteam for 40K, etc. There is also a wall of board games that are free to play. I appreciate their code of conduct that is posted on the front regarding being a reasonable person,respect and etiquette. There is a variety of people that attend and I enjoy buying miniatures from this local business.

This store is the best like it in Albuquerque. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of products including board games, Warhammer kits, Role Playing books and miniatures, and trading cards. If theres anything you want that they dont carry, they will gladly order it for you. They always make me feel at home whenever Im in the store.

Today was the second time I have shopped at this store, again everyone was really nice and they have a really good selection of board games. (Though my solo self would like a few more options for solitaire play) Their prices are very reasonable. They also offer a selection of games that you can just grab and play at no extra cost. Which I did after buying a game; I spend 3 or so hours just playing a game and was never made to feel like I needed to leave or spend more money. (Though I did buy dice on the way out XD)10/10 would recommend

Is a clean and comfortable place and a nice Shopping Center. They have an open door policy to have anyone come in and play games at their tables. Saturday and Wednesday nights are for D&D. The staff is very friendly and the place always seems to have new and interesting people in there. I really love Ettin gaming

This place is amazing! DnD every Wed & Saturday...but dont be late, tables fill up fast. Some nights Id say BYOC (they actually run out of chairs). Always a good time & Ettin is accommodating, non-judgmental and extremely helpful if tour new to the game.

Ettin Games & Hobbies is perhaps the nicest tabletop gaming store in all of Albuquerque. Friendly staff and excellent service are complimented by reasonable prices and a pleasant play environment. Ettin offers a free board game library and table space to players to try out many of the titles they offer for sale before you buy them! They offer plenty of table space, and they sell snacks and beverages should you choose to simply play or bring your own games and utilize the space.Dungeons & Dragons Adventure League games (pick-up games of D&D that new or returning players can simply drop into to learn the game or find a play group) are Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6 PM. If you want to reserve a table for your own play group or game, they ask that you call at least one week in advance to reserve one.Ettin does not buy cards or product from collectors, but they do sell sealed products and they will allow you to pre-order or special order almost any game or tabletop-related product from their distributors.As a tabletop game player I am always trying to support local shops. I have shopped at every single one in Albuquerque. The level of service and attention that Ettin provides has now made them my go-to.

Personally I never like to travel far for anything I need, but in some cases I make that exception Ettin is one of those exceptions for me. There are options similar that I could most likely walk to if I wanted but I have not found anywhere as welcoming and friendly as Ettin. For me the customer service and the atmosphere of the store make it completely worth it to travel across town for the visit.

A great place to play with friends. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very, very clean restrooms for a game store. They sell a variety of collectable card games, table top games and board games. Layout is open so you never feel crowded. Over all very inviting for anyone who is looking for a place to meet up and play games with.

Hands down best gaming store/gaming community in Albuquerque. Usually these types of places are cliqueish/don’t smell too great but Ettin is the opposite! Very friendly staff that go out of their way to help you, anywhere from learning how to play a game to how to assemble/paint miniatures. Facility is also very clean, including the other gamers! (Read no B.O. here) If you need a game store, Ettin is your place!

You know that game store cliche of the elitist owners/staff who look down their noses at you if you dont have enough nerd cred? Yeah, that is beautifully NOT Ettin. Im constantly impressed by how welcoming and helpful everyone is at Ettin. I started DMing and painting minis relatively recently and Sean (he spells it the right way too!) has been immensely helpful. Hes helped my painting go the next level and stopping in is always a pleasure. This needs to be YOUR Friendly Local Gamestore!
