Great job! Prices are lower then safe light and they are pretty fast. Very nice friendly people. They do tint and auto windshields. I think they offer more services but, I have only gone to them for auto tint, windshields, and I had them fill chips on windshield of old car that I traded in. They are very professional and business is clean and professional looking. I highly recommend calling them with anything glass related. I saw a customer bring in a glass door from a house, so I am pretty sure they do all glass. House or car.

Extremely unprofessional experience. I only ordered one single pane shower glass to serve as a splash shield in a stand alone shower. The tech mismeasured and became argumentative when I brought to his attention that the glass is too short. It serves no purpose. What a waste of money. When I called the company the owner gave no regard and made a joke out of it. I will never call this company again. You get what you pay for. Poor service. Go somewhere else.

The lady on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional I was not about to let them on to my property. Save your money and go with someone with some respect and integrity!

Well, they go the job done which was better than others I called. Office staff is horrible! Had to schedule a re-measure, but didnt show until I called to find out where they were all day. Our calls were always interrupted many times when on the phone. Said they were on their way then called and said, never mind it will be a few more hours.On-site technicians were polite, but left a mess of caulk on the carpet and wall!!! Find someone else, they are too busy and too sloppy all around to be trusted with something as expensive and important as windows in a house!

Great service took care of issue without any pushback. Very honest will continue to bring my auto glass needs to them!

The products (two shower doors and mirrors) and installation team were great, but I was charged $134 more than my quote due to an error on their part (even though all items in the quote were covered).

Astro, AKA Affordable Glass and Mirror, have done both auto work and residential work for the City of ABQ and for a few of my own car upgrades (like tinting). They can tint windows to a ludicrous level, but still keep it legal, and for way cheaper than anyone else in the city, but that being said, theyre still not lacking on quality. Anyways, theyre the most reliable glass shop in this sandpit of a town. They just need more parking spots, cause they get a lot of customers.

Tinted my aunts windows real nice and crispy. They look black on the outside, and clear on the inside, so she can see at night. Its also a permanent tint, and I noticed they went under the rubber things by the window so that it didnt rub off. Only cost $97 with tax, so its worth it in this miserable hot dustball.

Have an old daily driver that got hit with a rock on the interstate. While driving pass this place to work I called and asked if they could replace the windshield that same day. Receptionist said yes and had a booking for 9 am. Took the vehicle in and waited for the windshield to get replaced. I work remotely and the lobby was very clean and seating was great to work on my laptop. I was in and out within an hour.

I needed two windows replaced at a rental property. The tech came out and measured and I got a call back with a quote. I explained that if they needed to get into the house to install, arrangements would have to be made. They arrived on Monday to do in install, no phone call and next thing I know they are INSIDE my house ( security cameras). I called to find out how they got inside and was told the tech went in through the broken window, but they would lock up. Long story short, they didn’t have a key and were not able to lock up deadbolt (which they unlocked from the inside), my house was broken into the next morning using a crowbar on the front door. The company could care less, and has acted like this was my fault. They entered my property without permission. A complaint has been filed. Don’t use them bad company policies and they don’t care about you once they have your money.

They were reliable and reasonable at first. However, they noticed that we require their service quite frequently. They decided to raise the price and when one of our staff members asked why her response was “well you are not the business owner why do you care what we charge them?”. Yup, this is the type of business that prays on other small businesses in Albuquerque. Shame on you.

This company was so wonderful to work with, prompt and competent work performed. We were told by other companies that we needed to replace our windows due to broken double pane seals, and this company was able to just make a custom double pane glass unit for the existing windows, saving us thousands of dollars. They even matched some tint to one of the windows so it looked like the adjacent ones, and it is so much better than the old tint in application and clarity. I would definitely use this company again.

My review is not on how I was treated at this business site. Mine has to do with cost of a piece of glass table top that I was planning to purchase here. Affordable Glass quoted me a price of around $124.00 for a glass top size of 17 x 73. The same glass top which I purchased at Dwights Glass and Mirror on Alameda NW was $47.00 plus tax. I gave my rating for Affordable Glass was a 2 star solely based on cost between these 2 business entities. Based on cost experience between these 2 entities I would say that the Affordable Glass name is misnamed.

Staying in Edgewood, NM. Tuesday evening my travel trailer window smashed when I slid it open. What a mess. On Wednesday morning I called Good Sam (not covered), three RV repair places who all estimated a cost of around $900 to $1000 to replace the entire window - with no promises of when that replacement might get here. I tried a couple of local auto glass shops - best I could get was somebody might be able to get out here to Edgewood by Friday, maybe, and it would take at least ten days to get a plexiglass or tempered glass replacement. Maybe longer because of the radius corners. I left messages on the voice mail of three places (this is Wednesday morning) and Astro Auto Glass and Mirror / Affordable Glass & MIrror of Albuquerque called me back in a few minutes (one other called on Wednesday evening and the other never called back).Affordables telephone guy Dominic was very nice and helpful, got all my information and told me that he could have an estimator come out that afternoon. After discussion of what was needed, we decided that he would send an installer with the necessary materials to cut a plexiglass lite here on site in the morning. Dominic took some more information to get the tint, approximate size, and thickness of the glazing correct, gave me a cost estimate over the phone, and Thursday morning Eduardo arrived with the correct materials and tools, very carefully cut a new lite that fits perfectly (with radius corners on one edge and the remounting of the slider latch) - immediate service. Eduardo is a great guy and a fine craftsman, Affordable is the place to get the job done - at half the cost of the other estimates. Five stars.
